This place was perfect for a friends get away. There were plenty of beds and it was very spacious considering we were inside due to the amount of rain. We loved that it was walking distance to restaurants.

Great little house that’s not so little. Awesome location with no need to drive anywhere. The house was stocked with all we needed. The bathrooms could use more bath towels but there were tons of beach towels so we made due.Backyard and deck were great for kids playing and adults hanging out.

Can’t rave enough about the house and the host, Third Coast Vacations. Jon replied within minutes of a text and we even received a weather alert from them when the bad storm was approaching. What a big help all the fans in every room was, as humid as it was all week, when we were not in a pool or on the beach, the fans kept us very very comfortable in the house. Big yard for the dog to chase his ball and get exercise when not chasing squirrels up the tree. When traveling with older kids, first thing they looked for was bean bags to play or any other yard games. Laundry room had great big washer and dryer for laundry and plenty of detergent. Definitely recommend this for a party of 8, perfect size and ONLY 2 blocks from downtown.

Everything was wonderful, you can walk to town, ice cream and beach or drive and park there. Home was very spacious and comfortable. Nice front and back porch with chairs. Supplied with lots of things. We would certainly recommend.

Our family of five and two senior dogs enjoyed our stay very much! The location was perfect for walking to some of our favorite restaurants such as Brewster’s, Stray Dog and Casey’s. We visited a winery, went to St. Joe one day and visited Sawyer to enjoy lunch at Greenbush Brewery on another.

Family Getaway

We had a great stay in this home. The home itself was clean and newly remodeled. It is close to amenities making for fun and easy walks throughout the day. The backyard has a great fence and plenty of room for our dog to enjoy the stay too!

Great Location and Great House

We enjoyed our stay on Barker Street. House was exactly as listed, and newly renovated. Plenty of space for our group of 7 adults. Very easy 2 block walk to New Buffalo Main Street. Fenced in backyard was a huge plus. Would definitely stay here again.

We've been to New Buffalo several times and this was, by far, the best house in the best location. We traveled with 8 people (3 adults, 4 teenage girls, 1 pre-teen boy), and the room setup turned out to fit our needs perfectly. It was only a few blocks to the downtown shopping area, restaurants (Oink's ice cream!), and a lovely (not-too-long) walk to the beach. The home was beyond clean and well appointed. It had clearly been nicely updated with well thought out details (even the shower doors were soft close). The complimentary packets of toiletries, laundry detergent, and kitchen necessities (sponge, dish soap, etc) were a nice touch and much appreciated. We made use of the games and beach towels. Communication from the host was timely, clear, and thorough and answered all of our questions ahead of time. We would not hesitate to rent through Third Coast in the future. My husband even commented on our second day how perfect it was and said we needed to reserve it again for next year. (The only 2 things that could be improved upon -- but were minor so I did not let them affect my 5-star rating -- were the grill and the ventilation. The grill was rusted enough that we weren't comfortable using it (burgers on the stove!). The 2 upstairs bedrooms were much warmer compared to the rest of the home (which I'm sure is only because of the age of the home). Those sleeping downstairs were wrapped in blankets and those upstairs had fans on high speed.) All in all, a wonderful stay!

Missing essentials, house didn’t give the typical VRBO feel. Garbage disposal was clogged with no flip to switch. No extra blankets, house ran cold. Found random hatchet just out on the grill. Good location for new buffalo but will not be coming back.

Megan, sorry to hear about your struggles during the stay. We would have had someone come over to the property to solve any of your issues - we could have solved the garbage disposal or brought extra blankets over for you. Our office is literally one block away from the property.

Location is everything

The location is perfect - 4 minute walk to almost everything in downtown. If you desire proximity, this is an excellent location. The home itself was clean and nice. It does feel a little barren and sterile with no real decoration and pretty much just beds in bedrooms and that's about it - not a huge deal if you're out and enjoying the town vs. sitting inside all day.

Rosen family

Our family, 6 adults a 6 year-old and an 8 month-old had a wonderful time. Everyone had their own room, and with three full baths it was easy to schedule showers after the beach. The house was very well-appointed and in a fantastic location: we walked to the beach, restaurants and town. Communication with the property managers was excellent. We would be back, our schedules permitting.

Pro: Upon arrival we were impressed with cleanliness, neat yard. Location for NB was perfect. Cute little house. Gift bag was a nice touch.Con: Beds all looked made by a child with ‘dollar general’ quality bedding. Primary bed was extremely hard and sheets slid everywhere due to the type of mattress cover which was awful. Had to have company come wash the bedding due to overwhelming ‘scent’ from laundry cycles. Extra blankets not available except for lower level closets where they were stored on the floor with disgusting wooly worm cocoons in them. They dropped the ball on what we feel is the most important provision…. Bedding and pillows.

It was a perfect fit for our family. The basement allowed our granddaughter and her family to have some privacy. Loved the fenced in yard for the dogs. The walk to the beach was a little longer than I could navigate comfortably with my bad knees, but was fine for everyone else. Would definitely recommend it to others.

The location of property was excellent and the neighborhood was quiet with friendly neighbors. Everything within walking distance was a true bonus! The home was comfortable and spacious, although after a day of shopping and beach time I would have liked more comfortable furniture. Having a sectional with recliners would have been nice for down time. Extra hooks in the bathroom and bedrooms would have been nice. Also, just wanted to mention that housekeeper put the sheet in the primary bedroom incorrectly and during the first night the sheet kept coming off the mattress, so by morning it was mostly off, I took the bedding completely off and placed the sheet on the mattress correctly. We did have a good stay and enjoyed walking to all the close shops, restaurants, grocery, and beach. Thank you, Bernice Stafford
