Escape to historic Bayville Village in Boothbay Harbor, a restful community founded in 1911 and stay in our charming newly built year round cottage. It’s a perfect location at the head of Linekin Bay with a short walk to dock, beach, tennis and pickleball court, and nature trails.
This one-bedroom cottage offers a peaceful retreat with all the comforts you desire. As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a cozy living area, tastefully decorated with coastal accents and flooded with natural light. Enjoy the views of the garden from the dinning nook.
The bedroom is a serene haven, complete with a plush king sized bed ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploration.
Only 1 mile away, explore Boothbay Harbor, a picturesque coastal town known for its scenic beauty and charming atmosphere. Located on the rugged midcoast of Maine, with stunning views of the sea and the surrounding islands. Take a short cruise around the harbor or a longer one to Monhegan island. End a perfect day with a sunset sail or enjoy a boat trip to the popular Cabbage Island clambakes. The downtown is filled with shops, art galleries, and delicious seafood restaurants. Strolling along the waterfront, you can enjoy the fresh sea breeze and observe the lobstermen bringing in their catch.

One of the highlights is the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, a stunning 270-acre oasis featuring beautifully landscaped gardens and scenic walking paths.

An absolutely charming place. Quaint New England village with its own post office which is a must see. The place was clean and Alina was easily accessible for any questions. And, you’ll meet the chillest dog in the entire state, Lucky.

Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Little House on the bay. It was close to all the activities available in the area but was quiet and cozy for our down times. The only issue we had was the Wi-Fi was spotty. Overall, an excellent experience!

We loved our peaceful weekend at the Little Red Cottage

The cottage has anything you’d need for a getaway weekend. So peaceful in the Bayville community - and close to everything. Dining out in Boothbay Harbor is only 5 minutes away. So enjoy the tourist Mecca that is Boothbay Harbor, then retreat to the peaceful tranquility of the little Red Cottage. Alina was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Sweet cabin in lovely area

Such an adorable little cottage ! Everything is new( I think we were only the third people to stay there) Host has outfitted it with everything we needed and it was a plus to have washer/dryer too! Bed very comfy- as is the sofa/chair in living room. We had our collie/corgi dog and she enjoyed the daily hikes in the woods. Very close to Boothbay and restaurants.

Check in was mixed up the owner had a family member in the cottage. The owner rectified the situation in an hour. The owner was in the midst of a family health situation and under a lot of stress. All went well after that.
