Must Love Dogs
Our family chose Kentucky to celebrate a milestone birthday & visit Makers’s Mark Distillery. One of the primary reasons we decided on this property was that it was dog friendly. The property itself is warm, inviting and spacious. The owner had great/fast communication —and even stopped by when we couldn’t figure out how to work the television. Throughout our time on the farm, we truly felt like we were being woven into the local fabric.

Beautiful property
This property was easy to find and very well maintained. It was interesting being on a working farm. Caron had a great book with lots of information. She left us some country ham and biscuits. She had everything we could have ever needed. We love all the sunsets & all the fireflies. Our family became Makers Mark Ambasssdors a few years back and we planned this family vacation to pick up our bourbon. We had a wonderful time. Thanks, Caron

Wonderful time at the farm
We spent five nights at the farm, touring the bourbon trail and catching up with family from across the country. Caron's house was perfect for three couples, we had coffee on the front porch and grilled on the back patio almost every night. The location was absolutely beautiful and I've never seen so many fireflies. We hope to be back soon!

Incredible!
The tree lined driveway leading to the house heightened our anticicpation. We could not believe our eyes when we drove up to The Country Farm Home. Our host kindly left the keys to the house under the front mat for us and we entered the beautifully kept and appointed home. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious enough to accommodate us as we got ready to enjoy the Kentucky Derby! Caron Tucker made sure we were all comfortable and made some wonderful suggestions for dinner as we explored the countryside. We hope we get another opportunity to enjoy some Kentucky hospitality and we'll certainly use a Tucker property. The only mistake we made was using Google maps to find our way to the property. Caron sent us impeccable directions, but we thought technology was our friend. The address does not show up correctly on GPS. Stick with Caron's directions!

Peaceful and relaxing
I can’t say enough good things about this place. The home itself is incredibly spacious yet homey. There are plenty of towels, toiletries, paper goods, etc, The owner always leaves country ham and biscuits in the fridge. So nice if you arriving after dark. We have stayed twice and once used as our dinner and more recently as our breakfast. There was plenty of coffee for us to use until we could get to the grocery store. The setting is so beautiful. We love just sitting on the porch and soaking in the scenery. At the same time, it’s not far to restaurants and grocery stores. It’s close to the bourbon trail and state parks. Can’t wait to visit again.

The cattle are lowing
All 8 of us enjoyed the seclusion and scenery. The house was laid out perfectly for our group and the kitchen allowed all of us to be underfoot of each other (LOL) while cooking. We had friends over for dinner and we still had room. Thanks for breakfast. Yummy!

Wonderful Thanksgiving with family
Caron's home was the perfect spot for a 4-day Thanksgiving reunion with family traveling from different areas. Good distance from the bourbon trail while still providing absolute serenity. The sunrise and sunset each day were breathtaking. The kitchen was well-appointed for everything for our Turkey-day feast. And, her home was welcoming for our little furballs who also enjoyed the weekend of fresh air. Highly recommend! And going into town (Lebanon) was a perfect little spot for a farm to table dinner, and a local sports bar for watching college football.

The Perfect Getaway
Caron, the owner, is not only a joy to work with, but put together this new vrbo equipped with everything you need nestled in the knob. The kitchen with its huge island makes group cooking fun and easy! Her decorating is Lovely and updated to make you feel at home. It's worth the drive to the bourbon trail to enjoy the peaceful setting of this home.

Life on the farm is kinda laid back!
What a great experience we had! Beautiful setting, comfortable house, and close to so many things to do and see. We enjoyed watching the cattle graze, sipping an adult beverage on the front porch, and generally relaxing in a pastoral environment. We even made friends with the resident cottontail rabbit. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and still have all the comforts of home, this is the place for you!

We stayed here with 3 couples total. The house was very comfortable and great for our group to explore the Bourbon trail and come back to relax playing games or watching a movie. Caron was very accommodating with our reservations and prompt to respond. We enjoyed Kentucky ham and biscuits for breakfast, compliments of Caron. We would recommend this home and we would stay here again.

Fun Bourbon Trail experience with friends
^ Close friends gathered here to celebrate a 65th birthday and tour the Bourbon trail. The house was so comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. The scenery around was beautiful especially at sunrise and sunset. Caron was the best host and we enjoyed sharing her family stories. The Kentucky ham she shared was delicious. It was easy access to hiking, the quaint town of Bardstown, and the east side of the Bourbon trail. We plan to come back!

On the farm!
Our whole family was so happy to stay at this beautiful house on a farm! Our children are ages 16, 18, 20, and 22. Comfortable beds and three full bathrooms made it perfect for us. We enjoyed solitude and walks along the tree-lined lane and other farm paths. We saw beautiful sunsets and a beautiful night sky of stars. Highlights of our time include some things that our host, Caron, suggested; a tour of a barrel factory and attending an Amish fruit and vegetable auction. We hope to come back!

Fabulous weekend getaway with friends!
A group of old friends from Juneau, AK reunited at this beautiful country farm house for the Kentucky Derby weekend. We were amazed at the affordability of the house, given it's size (two-story, 3-bed, 3-bath) and impressive landscape. This house is an easy day drive to several bourbon distilleries, including into Louisville for the Derby. Neighboring towns Lebanon and Bardstown have nice, quaint restaurants, tap rooms, and clothing boutiques for those who enjoy shopping. Caron Tucker is a wonderful hostess - she was most helpful with directions to nearby attractions/restaurants and made our group's stay comfortable and easy. I cannot wait to return to this area for a longer stay to explore more of the country and enjoy this home again!

Beautiful country home!!
This was just an awesome place to stay!! There is a ton of things to do, and Caron left plenty of information with activities in the area. Caron was also a great hostess. The house was very clean and roomy!! It was way better than staying in a hotel for 4 nights. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would for sure stay there again!!

Beautiful week in the country
This was a fabulous choice for our family. We had plenty of room, fully stocked kitchen, laundry facilities. Can't say enough about what a good time we had. Close enough to take in the Bourbon Trail, Bardstown, Churchill Downs, but not have to be piled in a motel room at night. Caron is a fabulous hostess as well, she gave us great information on activities in the area.

Second time we've stayed here...we love this place...and Caron the owner!
I am a member of a women's cycling team and this March was the 2nd year we traveled to KY from WI for training camp. The house is fantastic...nicely kept, incredibly roomy (6-7 of us stayed there), has all of the creature comforts of home (except wifi...but we spend most of our time riding, eating or sleeping, so it's no bother!) It's incredibly peaceful and the surrounding community is great. The Amish bakery down the road is fantastic. We were a short bike ride (60 miles round trip) to the Maker's Mark Distillery and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery on all of our rides! Caron and her husband are wonderful and this year, they enlisted the help of a neighbor to help us out when we had some bike trouble on the road. A+ hosts! Can't wait to come back next year :)

My family and I were looking for a house to rent as opposed to renting multiple hotel rooms for a 2 night stay near the Bourbon Trail. We feel we struck gold renting this property. It was so clean, spacious and had every amenity you could want. The setting was so peaceful. It's also convenient to the Bourbon Trail. We all decided we definitely would like to return to this property again…especially when we can enjoy the outdoors more in warmer temps.

GETAWAY
This was the perfect getaway for our family. The place was impeccable. Caron added a nice touch with ham and biscuits for the morning. We came for the bourbon tours and sightseeing - but mostly we just enjoyed the house and its serenity.

Bourbon Trail Hideaway
The Tuckers are consummate hosts, Caron provide ham steaks and biscuits for our breakfasts and all the welcoming charm of the South. My friends and I spent a wonderful and relaxing 4 days at Tucker Farm in July and loved every minute. There is access to the Bourbon Trail, beautiful Louisville and Lexington. If you go stop at Buffalo Trace Distillery, go to diner in Louisville at the Bourbon Bistro and relax on the porch of the farm with a Bourbon and ice. Caron, I hope to see you and your husband again real soon. Richard Bonkowski

Wonderful Time With Family!!
This house was perfect our girls getaway! Set far back from the road, so quiet and tranquil. The driveway lined with trees was the perfect place for walks. We really ate good for the time we were there. We had stopped on the way there at a farmers market and loaded up with fresh veggies. The pantry had everything you could need, spices, reynolds wrap etc... The country ham and biscuits was much appreciated. The only thing I could recommend would be some new knifes, what was there just wasn't sharp enough. One day went to a mall flea market in Campbellsville, another day took in a movie and stopped by a Amish Bakery. Talk about smelling so good! This place was very comfortable and we very much enjoyed it.

Elegant Farm Home
We spent the Memorial Day Weekend in this home, and it could not have been nicer. The owner went way beyond what was necessary to give us information about the area (restaurants, etc.). The house is beautifully furnished, and everything we needed was at hand. We enjoyed the quiet! There are no close neighbors. We traveled to 3 nearby bourbon distilleries, all of which were an easy drive from the house. The house is very nicely furnished, and the kitchen is large and functional, with everything we needed to prepare meals. Upon leaving, we had no suggestions for the owner on how to improve the experience. We hope to return for another visit.

Family Weekend Get-together
The Tucker farmhouse was the perfect destination for my brothers, their spouses, my husband and me to spend a wonderful weekend. Sitting on the porch in the evening star-gazing was the best. After a very busy day touring distilleries, a winery, and antique shops, our only regret was not being able to spend one more day just to relax take in the peacefulness of the farm. The Tuckers are great hosts and we can't wait to come back!

Laughter with friends, bonding with cows on a morning hike, touring distilleries . . . life is good!
The joy that fills my soul as I watch a friend's head fall back in laughter . . . the whisper of sadness expressed only in a glance as we take turns comforting a struggling calf . . . the inside jokes, memories caught in a new catch phrase, friendships centuries old or newly welcomed . . . all of this and more within these walls, upon the rolling hills of this beautiful land. Thank you for giving us a space to share our laughter, renew our spirits and deepen our bonds. ? The SW girls
