The house was quiet, clean and all beds were comfortable. The property was located in a country setting and had the feeling of a farm.

We had a wonderful stay with our family! The property was peaceful, we enjoyed visiting the animals, and the hosts were so lovely. Kitchen was well stocked, and the house stayed cool with the AC and fans which was perfect for the hot days. It had everything we needed. Beach access just a short walk down the hill. We'd definitely come back!

interesting and lovely country living

lovely country style living, very clean wood house. My daughter like all animals in this property. My wife like the beautiful enviroment inside and outside. I like the fresh forest air and water. Many thanks for the hard working of the owners. Cheers,

Our family (3 adults, our daughter, and our dog) had an amazing week at this beautiful Kootenay Lake home. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at ease.The house has so much character with its antique charm, and one of our favourite surprises was the incredible book collection. There were so many interesting books to browse that everyone found something to enjoy. Our daughter absolutely loved the piano and treated us to little concerts throughout the week.We spent countless hours on the two balconies playing cards, Jenga, and board games while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The entire property, inside and out, has such a relaxing atmosphere that it was easy to forget about the hustle and bustle of city life. The quiet country setting was exactly what our family needed.Claudia and Klaus were wonderful hosts—kind, approachable, and genuinely caring. It was clear they take great pride in sharing their home and making sure their guests have a memorable stay.The main beach is just a short walk down the hill, and the views are absolutely breathtaking (especially for us Albertans!). Kootenay Lake is truly a gem. We do recommend bringing water shoes, as the shoreline is rocky.We also discovered a quieter little beach just a minute and a half's drive away, where we spent time admiring and collecting beautiful pebbles in every colour. The floating island was another huge hit with our family and provided hours of fun. Love love love the place! Thank you!

I secretly hope no one finds this absolute gem of a property. The house is charming and has a gorgeous wooden cabin vibe that was perfect in every way. My family of 4 loved the decor , the beds, the setup—everything! It stays nice and cool all day (yes even during those 35 days) that made coming home from the beach so nice to relax in. There are a ton of beaches and stores near by to explore. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, the beds are incredibly soft and comfortable with a/c units in every room. Claudia was in full communication about everything and ensured we were well taken care of. We can’t wait to come back!
