This unique property features a separate adjoining GAME HOUSE! Let the kids play while you have peace and quiet in the adjoining main house. Surrounded by towering pines in the heart of Hochatown, The White Spruce’s huge wrap - around porch and comfortable, yet modern, decor will make you want to move in and stay forever. Our Luxury BRAND NEW cabin is perfect for one or multiple families.


The White Spruce’s secluded lot gives you ample space to immerse your family in nature without needing a 4x4 vehicle to access its location. Conveniently located within walking distance to fun and entertainment on Sugar Berry Road with quaint gourmet grocery, great family restaurants, microbrewery and coffee just 3 minutes down Hwy 259. Experience the serenity of Broken Bow Lake and nature hikes in Beaver’s Bend State Park only minutes away.

The Main House features 3 king (chiropractor approved!) beds with en-suite bathrooms, along with a bunk room and bath. Luxury organic cotton towels and bedding and quality handcrafted mattresses throughout ensure maximum comfort and peace of mind. The separate Game House includes a loft that sleeps 2, complete with its own bathroom.


Cozy up by the fire at the push of a button and enjoy a movie on the QLED 4K 65” Samsung Frame TV. 1GB Fiber internet, WIFI, and streaming services are included or bring your own by logging in using the Guest option on our 5 other user-friendly Roku connected TVs.


The fully loaded kitchen has quartz counters, coffee bar and induction cooking for the household chef! The indoor dining table is made for family gatherings and seats 8 comfortably with additional seating for 6 at the Kitchen Island. If you choose to venture outdoors to enjoy your meal, the full length covered back porch features dining for 12 and a 6 burner griddle top grill. Perfect for making pancakes, burgers and steaks for a large crowd! 1220 sq ft of outdoor porches include a second fireplace, comfortable lounge seating and a 6 person hot tub. A large glass garage door in the Game House opens to a breeze-way to allow you to connect with nature while enjoying the indoor 75” TV and outdoor 65” TV, air hockey, board games and retro arcade games.


Enjoy taking an afternoon snooze on the hammock or snuggle with a loved one as you gaze at the green pines and blue skies. The kids will love the "splinter free" Adventure World Outdoor Playset and exploring the large 1.3 acre lot and provided nature activities. In the evening, catch fireflies or roast marshmallows at our "SMOKELESS" fire pit surrounded by Polywood Adirondack chairs.

Really a great place! Wanted a large cabin for my 50th birthday celebration and it was perfect. Really well appointed rooms and comfortable beds and bedding. Kitchen has everything you need to get cooking. The grill was really nice too. One of the best areas was the game room on the side and the breezeway with the TV. Found ourselves spending a lot of time there as well as at the fire pit.Would definitely recommend and would book again

The pictures and description online match what we found pretty well. This cabin is particularly nice because there's no one across the street and there's no one behind you so it feels much more like you're in the woods. It's also off of 259 along paved a paved road so that was nice.

Perfect Christmas Vacation

The White Spruce was the perfect cabin for our family Christmas vacation. The property was beautiful and had great amenities. The teenagers loved the game house and the younger kids had a blast on the playground. The location felt private and peaceful while still being close to town. We will book this cabin again.

Hi there! The White Spruce was an idea hatched from the desire to have a place to gather and enjoy quality time with family. Growing up in Minnesota, my family had a love affair with lakes and being close to water. After moving to Texas, Broken Bow Lake and Hochatown became a haven for our family to escape from the Dallas city life and enjoy all that nature has to offer. We built our cabin from scratch and poured our love into every corner to make sure you fall in love with it just as our family has.

Why they chose this property

Hochatown is a place you can escape into nature and spend quality time with loved ones. We fell in love with this area several years ago during a family vacation. All seasons have something great to offer in Hochatown: boating in the summer, hiking in the spring and fall, and campfires during the cold winter months!

What makes this property unique

We designed our cabin for families and friendly get togethers. Our unique layout ensures everyone has plenty of space for gathering together and for privacy when needed. The separation of the adjoining game house allows the kids to have space to be loud without upsetting the tranquility of the rest of the house! Our location is central to everything in Hochatown and is walking distance to many hot spots, but still secluded enough to ensure you feel like you have escaped into nature.
