Why Linda & Lenny chose Ocoee

My wife and I purchased this cabin because of its great location. Our property backs up to the Cherokee National Forest and provides great privacy. we enjoy driving through the mountains and fishing on the lake. My wife's sister recently visited and they had the time of their lives! They went horseback riding, antiquing and shopping just to name a few activities. So as you can tell the activities are many and varied. This is a great recreational area w/ many outdooor activities also.

What makes this cabin unique

While staying at Lainie's Lodge you cannot see a house in sight. The cabin has been placed in center of property w/ a long driveway! Yet there are neighbors close by if there is an emergency of any sort.

Such a relaxing place to be

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at the Laine's Lodge. From the quaint cottage feel to the beautiful scenery, we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our vacation. Thank you for opening your home to others.

Awesome!!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying here. Very quiet. The lodge is very nicely decorated and clean. There was an issue with the upstairs AC the first night, but they have someone on call if there are any problems and he took care of it right away. We went out for the day and when we came back everything was fine. AND we love Elvis!!! He's the neighborly dog who obviously knows when it's checkout time because he's right there to take all your leftovers that you have. He loves hot dogs. Would definitely come back here. Thank you again for letting us stay.

Owner's Response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. WE have an excellent, dependable property manager who keeps us updated so we can get issues remedied quickly. We would love to have you return, by then the neighborhood dog should be grossly overweight...lol. Thanks again for the great review. Lenny and Linda

Great Stay in the Ocoee Area

  • 4 of 5

My family of four enjoyed our stay at Laine's Lodge this past weekend. The home was very comfortable and well maintained. It had such a cozy feeling, yet there was plenty of space for each of us. Appreciated having two bathrooms. It made getting ready in the morning so much easier. The kitchen was compact, but had everything we needed. We enjoyed meeting Elvis. He was very welcoming every time we arrived "home" and even greeted us on the front porch early one morning. Overall, we had a great stay. Our only "con" that we had for this home was the distance from the main road, which, once we got used to it didn't seem as long. It does add a bit of charm to the whole experience.

It's very secluded and quiet. But only about 15 minutes from things that you need.

High quality cabin set in the woods

  • 4 of 5

We spent a week here in mid-July. The cabin and furnishing were very clean and we had everything we needed. If anything the pictures don't do justice to the quality of the cabin and it's decor. As others have indicated, there is a bit of a rocky drive to the cabin, but our car handled it fine and it should not put anyone off. Good access to the national forest.
