Why Linda chose East

My wife and I purchased this cabin because of its great location. Our property backs up to the Cherokee National Forest and provides great privacy. we enjoy driving through the mountains and fishing on the lake. My wife's sister recently visited and they had the time of their lives! They went horseback riding, antiquing and shopping just to name a few activities. So as you can tell the activities are many and varied. This is a great recreational area w/ many outdooor activities also.

What makes this cabin unique

While staying at Lainie's Lodge you cannot see a house in sight. The cabin has been placed in center of property w/ a long driveway! Yet there are neighbors close by if there is an emergency of any sort.

Easter in Tennessee

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time gathering as a family. One of our daughters attends Lee University in nearby Cleveland. She suggested our family travel from Michigan to visit her during her Easter break. We couldn't have asked for better weather. It was sunny and in the 80's. We did lots of hiking and visiting the beautiful country. Benton Falls was a must see. We also hiked Star Mountain. We found a great winery not far from the cabin. The owner and his son were a hoot. (Savannah Oaks Winery)

The cabin was as described. It was a little tight for the 6 adults to sleep but we all made the best of that and it didn't stop us from enjoying it. We had fun sitting around the fire pit each night singing and toasting our marshmallows.

Thanks for the great memories.

Cute, clean cabin feels secluded

  • 5 of 5

Cabin is located on a dead end/cul de sac and feels secluded with no view of the neighbors. It was very clean and perfect for 2 couples as the bedrooms are separate and allow privacy.

The only view is the nearby woods, but there is swing and a fire pit in the backyard.

The cabin has central heat and a/c making our stay comfortable.

The owner responds to email fairly quickly.

Husband's Birthday Stay!

  • 5 of 5

The house was exactly as advertised! We LOVED the fireplace indoors and appreciated all the wood provided! The beds aren't super comfortable, but otherwise the house was so cozy and we had the BEST time celebrating my husbands birthday! Thanks for a great stay!
