A charming and comfortable cottage with more than the conveniences of home! Conveniently situated to parking lot, bakery, store and beach. Very clean with comfortable beds and a marvellous shower. Five stars!
The location is great. 5-minute walk to the bakery and Village Green. They had 4 bikes although one of them didn't work (the breaks were locked). If the cottage was cheaper, it would have been fine for what we got. We paid almost 1800 for 3 nights, so were expecting a bit more.A few negatives. The septic was full when we arrived so we couldn't use the water or bathroom. The owners had it pumped fairly quickly which was nice although we had to find somewhere to use in the meantime. When we got back, we tried opening the windows to let the smell out, but many wouldn't open. When we opened one of the cupboard doors the whole door fell off. There were also, only 2 shower towels for our 5-person booking. We found 2 beach towels, so we used those as well.Overall, I would say it was fine and given our last-minute booking I wasn't expecting a lot.
Cottage worked perfectly for our family and was close to our other family in the restricted area.
It is a cottage and as such, things like spiders and the occasional mouse are to be expected.
Had a great time at this cabin. A little bit on the expensive side but a great cabin and a great location. Overall we had an awesome time. One negative was that the hide a bed was very dirty and would have been gross to sleep on.
