Brian was both personable and respectful. He and his family left our home in very nice condition and abided by the house rules during their stay. We would happily host them again.
The house is cozy. It’s a comfortable home away from home.

We will definitely welcome Srinivasa and his family back again! He was very communicative, letting us know when they'd be arriving, and provided feedback on various elements of the space that they found inspiring. The home was left impeccably clean and tidy.
We were happy to host Jason and family for their stay in the area; and found the home to be in impeccable condition after their departure. We will gladly welcome them again, anytime.
Comfortable little house near most of the Hamilton things we came the valley to do. Beds/pillows are very comfortable and mini splits kept the entire house comfortable day and night. There was plenty of room to walk the dog in the yard. We enjoyed our stay!

Roomy, clean and has everything you could need. Loved the individual climate control for each room. Large driveway was great for our trailer of atvs.

I was a little concerned when David never communicated with me through booking and his stay; but his review revealed that he thoroughly enjoyed his stay.
But following his check-out, we found our home to be in wonderfully clean and neat condition. There was even a very thoughtful message, and accompanying artwork left on the chalkboard provided for guests to express their creativity, or make a to do list while they're there. David will always be welcome at our home should he return to the area.
This home is so lovely and cozy! We came to the Bitterroot Valley to visit our daughter and celebrate our first grandson's first Christmas and first birthday. This beautiful home is warm, safe, inviting, and comfortable and we are very grateful it was available!

We were happy to host Paula and her family for Christmas week. Even with a toddler in the house for get-togethers, nothing was awry when we went back into the house after they'd checked out. They were so respectful of our property, and left it exceptionally clean and in good order. We will always welcome them back.
This is our 2nd time staying this summer. So clean, organized and just a beautiful home to stay. So comfortable. I will definitely stay here the next time we're in the area.
We stayed for 2 nights with our pups and truly enjoyed the yard and beautiful home.

We are happy to have hosted Andra and Jeff, and their two pups Atlas and Luna, as guests who stayed in our home this week. There was no sign that dogs had been there at all--much less, very large breed dogs---and we thoroughly appreciate their respectful treatment of the property. They will always be welcomed back should they return to the area.
Beautiful, clean, comfortable. Had everything we needed. Very quiet, easy to locate and overall, had a superb stay. Great, quick replies on all my questions being a first time stay.
Clean, comfortable, nicely updated & decorated interior. Host were welcoming & responsive with messages. Conveniently located near Hamilton for our purposes. Yard was a disappointment due to dead lawn & not as pictured. Check out tasks were more than expected.

We always appreciate input/feedback from our guests. This guest is correct; the lawn was not green at this time of year, as the picture (taken in early summer) indicated.
As stated in our guest book, we are working first on improving the home itself, both inside and out, before tackling the exterior grounds. In the near future the shed and RV barns will be demolished to make room for another more contemporary structure.
We do not reside on premises and cannot leave water running there. We do try to keep the area right around the house watered as much as possible when at the property working.
We will eventually have a pump system to bring irrigation water from the ditch along the front border of the property. The ditch does not run all year.
Please bear with us, as we wok through all the exterior work that still needs to be done.
The house was perfect for what we needed. Had 2 adults and 3 children. House was clean and well put together.
Would stay again if I needed.

About the host
Hosted by Gayle Roege
Gayle is an artist and educator with a passion for adolescent talent development. Paul is an engineer, with an emphasis on energy and resilience. We are both life-long learners, have collaborated on authoring research related to our areas of interest, and love to travel. Hosting Airbnb guests for a year or so was a great way to open our residence to travelers from different places, and enjoy getting to know them and a bit about their lifestyles.
Now as VRBO hosts, (having purchased the property from our son, following hundreds of invested hours of debris removal and major reconstruction of the interior of the home by several family members ) we continue to make improvements to both inside and outside to offer a warm, welcoming space for people to relax in while they are in the area. It is certainly a work in progress!
In line with our interest in other cultures and regions, we hosted three exchange students this year (German, Italian, and Swiss) --the Italian for the full year--and found the experience rewarding and enlightening. We have a white Labrador retriever whom we adore, and have opened this home to pets since we appreciate being able to take our boy Jaeger with us when we travel away from home.
