The Best Stay!

We fully enjoyed our time at Villa Ibiza Cana! I definitely recommend! Jenny was an amazing Host and the concierge was very helpful with getting us transportation and groceries! Our house keeper was just perfect and she made us great restaurant style meals! The villa is better than the picture and close to all the spots we went … I cannot wait to book again!

This property is very clean, well laid out and will not disappoint.

Jenny was the icing on the cake for this property, she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of at the resort and outside the resort. Beautiful property, well located and will definitely consider again.

Family Getaway; 4 Adult Children and 2 Plus Ones

To keep our annual family summer vacations going with 4 adult single children, we fly to a warm beach destination with golf. This property was ideal for us. It was elevated offering a resort feeling, with areas for our group to gather and catch up in a relaxed setting. Everyone could go out on their own or stay with the group to snorkel, golf, go to the spa, or out to dinners. Delcia, the resident housekeeper, is charismatic and warm. Her meals were so delicious that we looked forward to each family meal with anticipation.

Great villa with everything you need!

Very attentive staff and concierge options. The live-in housekeeper is super nice and helpful. Good location for attractions. Very comfortable, perfect for our group of 5. Pool is so convenient and we even got massages. I would go back!

My friend Reena really enjoyed the dinner Dilsea cooked for her for her birthday. The concierge helped us book whatever we wanted and was very accomodating to changing plans. The house is equipped with everything and is gorgeous and spacious.

Home Away From Home

The home is beautiful! Jenny is great with communicating and wants you to truly enjoy your stay. Ailiah keeps the home clean and is a GREAT cook! The home is exactly like the pictures with some wear and tear from renters who chose not to treat this house better than their own. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, Jenny & Ailiah were amazing to me and my family, and I would stay here again.

Loved the property! Beautiful scenery! Would stay again!! Housekeeper cooked for us 1 night, EXCELLENT!! Just remember you have to pay for electricity. We kept the kitchen on during the day, then shut it off and turned on the bedrooms at night. Cost us around 200 and everyone was comfortable! Property is open from the back but we always felt safe. Remember bug spray, citronella candles, bracelets, etc. It's summer in the Caribbean lol. Jenny the host was excellent to work with! We had the house stocked before we got there and the concierge team was easy to work with. Dilcia the live in Maid was also easy going and easy to work with! Thank you for a great time Jenny, we all made great memories!

Beautiful villa!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Ibiza Cana for a girls trip getaway! There were 6 of us and the accommodations were perfect and more than enough. Jenny, the manager, was so helpful and accommodating before our trip and during our stay. And Dilcia, the housekeeper, was so very sweet and and amazing cook! We had a dinner and breakfast in, cooked by Dilcia, and it was such a treat! She speaks very limited English and we spoke no Spanish but it really wasn't an issue. The pool and the views were great and the location is convenient to the beach and restaurants but you do need to drive. We used the concierge service recommended by Jenny for all our transportation and were very happy with them Overall, highly recommend!

Our stay

Me and a group of buddies stayed at this lovely home. The home was located on a golf resort which was very quiet during our stay. We were able to talk to locals and feel as one with the community . Jenny and concierge people were very helpful with our stay. They were able to tell us what clubs and beaches to go to during our stay and also provided transportation!!!! They also stayed in contact with us during the whole stay to make sure we were ok and always had something to do. The housekeeper Dilcia was on point with everything. She made some very good Dominican style dishes, which was very phenomenal. I would definitely recommend staying here if you have never been to Punta Cana. I give our stay 5 stars and beyond.

The Villa is Amazing

Every year a group of my friends plan a couples trip, and this by far was the best experience. The pictures of the villa are great, but we were completely blown away once we got there. The villa is simply amazing. What made the experience even better was how nice and welcoming Jenny and Delcia are. It made the trip even better. Jenny is amazing!! She is very responsive and helpful to any questions we had. Delcia, the housekeeper, is great. The meals she prepared for us was perfecto!! I can’t thank you enough for helping make this trip one of the best ones yet. Already looking forward to the next trip!!

Tranquility at its best...

One of the best vacations I've had in a long time. The accommodations were exactly how they were presented online. The house was pristine and the grounds were fabulous! I can't say enough about Petra's attention to detail and how she made me and my family feel like we were old friends. From the time we arrived at the airport we felt like VIPs. During the reservation process Petra was very responsive to my emails and she made sure all of my request were honored. Dilsia and Donnie were terrific, the food was delicious and my Spanish skills have increased because of her. All of our needs were met and they went above and beyond my expectations. I hope to return to this beautiful home next year!

Looks good in pictures

No hot water, no tv, dirty pool. Person there that was supposed to maintain the place was sleeping most of the time. Shade from one of the windows fell on friends arm bruising it and all they could say was that it came off the rail. Fine print says you have to pay for electric also. Never again

Gorgeous home!

What you see is what you get! The online pictures of Ibiza Cana are gorgeous and the home did not disappoint, it was even more gorgeous than the pictures show. Our family of four had a great stay and more than enough space. The golf course grounds on which the property sits are gorgeous and just far enough set back that you never felt like golfers or golf balls were "intruding" on you. The house is also very close to the Palma Real shopping center, which you can easily access by golf cart. Petra and Jose, the owners, were so helpful, accommodating, and available. Any question we had leading up to the trip and during our stay were immediately answered via email. While the pool is small (photos show that, so we knew what we were getting), it was more than adequate for the 4 of us. Dilcia the housekeeper and chef prepared most of our meals during our stay, and they were delicious!

Beautiful House and Golf Course View

In harmony with others comments, the pictures online are an accurate representation of the house. What you see online is what you see when you get there. Plenty of space, there was 7 of us and we never felt crowded. Petra and Jose were there to welcome us at the home. And Petra was very thorough and readily available for questions or concerns. She is great, and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay and to make us feel comfortable. Dilsia was great too. We would recommend taking advantage of having her cook for you. Any Spanish you can speak would be very helpful. Note: In order to get to the beach(es) we would recommend renting a car or taking a taxi. The beaches are a distance away and difficult to get to without a car.

Beautiful home, lovely proprietors

The home is very beautiful and in very good condition. Petra and Jose Luis are both very kind and welcoming, and helped us by being very responsive to our many questions, and giving us a great deal of local insight. The setting is very picturesque - the back yard is more private than the surrounding villas on the golf course. There was a lot of room for each of us for our family of 8. It was a little unsettling that the back half of the house is completely open to the golf course - there is no wall, and therefore you need to lock each bedroom area independently as each door is essentially an outside main door. This gave us a little concern for safety with our younger kids each in individual rooms, but as the week went on we became accustomed to this. We were a little disappointed that the spa did not have a heater. This may just be the norm in the DR, but coming from the US we weren't aware that would be the case. The water was a little brisk, and we would have spent a lot more time in the pool and spa if either or both had a heater. Overall it was a wonderfully relaxing experience in a very beautiful home, with very helpful owners.

Amazing House was out of a Magazine

Thank you for the awesome time at your house!! The pictures don’t do justice. Petra and her husband are wonderful down to earth people who explained everything to the T our whole stay. Most houses don’t give you electricity included but they give you it included in the rent a certain amount max per day.. That is reasonable because rentals in the DR charge extra for that and this was the only house I knew that didn’t have extra hidden fees which was great to know. My cousin and I and all girls was greeted with fruit and wine!! Delcia the cook was amazing and sweet I wanted to take her back with me home to cook too. She makes delicious meals every day just have a menu of what you would like her to make and if you can have it in Spanish that would help a lot. Bring mosquito spray I got ate up lol they loved to bite me and it was nothing I could do about that.. being in the Caribbean it is to be expected with the humidity being so high. I will be back to stay here I wish I could have stayed a few more days and forget about not having to go back to work. Thank you for everything..

Great property; Not the best location

The house came as advertised - very comfortable and clean and the concierge was helpful. Two of us played the Cocotal golf course and really enjoyed it. We didn't love the location, as we didn't want to just stay around the house. Don't rent a golf cart! You can really only use them within the gated community - not safe/legal to run them along the main road. We were told because it was high season, that we could not return the two golf carts we had rented, a costly mistake! There is not much in the community other than a small corner store and coffee shop near the front gates. The concierge subsequently assisted us with renting an SUV for our group, which was much more practical. Even then, accessing the beach was challenging, given how the all inclusive resorts take up the majority of the coast in that area. There are very few public access points and finding parking is challenging. We had success at Bibijagua market (parked on a side street for free), which is located down the road from the gas station near the entry to the Barcelo Bavaro. Otherwise, Jellyfish Restaurant was excellent and you can park in their lot if you are eating there or using their beach club area. Having the maid was somewhat awkward. She kept things tidy but odd to have her around, as she has little to do most of the time - and tended to often be on speaker phone with friends (a bit noisy). She cooked one meal for us, but took some effort given we don't speak Spanish.

Just like the pictures!!!

Beautiful property, just like the pictures!!! Awesome view of the lake with the siting of cranes and flamingos. Love the outdoor and indoor affect. The pool and sauna were awesome, heated by the tropical sun gave it the perfect temperature. Everyone in my family was impressed. So much room. Close proximity to stores, restaurants and neighboring resorts. On site 24 hour security made us feel very safe. Dilcia was wonderful. She kept the house clean and prepared our meals upon request. She also had the pool guy to pick fresh mangos from the tree on the property for our breakfast. The pool guy was very friendly and kept the pool area very clean. Being a home cook, I decided to bake a cake; and noticed the lack of some kitchen essentials. A mixer would be helpful with measuring cups and measuring spoons. Jenny was also very nice and helpful. She meet us at the house, gave us a tour and answered all of questions. She was very accessible via phone or whatsapp (text). Upon our departure Jenny meet us at the house for our close out. After our departure my son noticed that he left some clothing items behind and Jenny was gracious enough to send Dilcia back to check. Yup, he left them and she is willing to ship them to the USA at our cost. Over all the house was outstanding. Petra and Jose, you have a beautiful home and we thank you for sharing it with us. It is in good care with the staff you have caring for it. We look forward to coming back to Punta Cana, and we will definitely stay at Ibiza Cana.

We regret staying here.

The only pro of the property is the housemaid, Julianna, who was wonderful.Cons:Inundated by mosquitos despite bug sprays in the main pool/hangout area, we had to escape to our bedrooms for relief.Shower had a low water pressure with only 5 minutes of hot water. We had to wait hours to get hot water for brief minutes again. Our children were literally begging to skip shower because the water was cold.House is in a community but no amenities. Nothing is in walking distance. There's no way to go to a grocery store without calling a ride which costs 59 USD each way. Grocery store is a nightmare of crowds. Uber Eats takes 1-2 hours for any delivery and requires a QR code which is difficult and time consuming to acquire.Wifi is very sketchy and only worked in certain square feet of the house and only at certain times. Kids were piled up in one room just to get slow wifi on their tablets, and communication with house manager was difficult due to wifi limits.Unlike hotel concierge, the one provided by the house manager takes a commission for themselves. Every reservation was more than if I arranged them. Even the one arranged by them didn't work out - we were never picked up for dinner.There were no bed sheets in the main bedroom, and we had to sleep on a mattress protector. We asked for blankets and received a hospital-type blanket. We made one complaint and quickly met with aggression from the house manager.

Best place ever!!!

We will always stay at this home when we come back. Jenny was amazing, showed up to give us a tour, was very understanding. House is beautiful on here but in person was breathtaking. Delicia (maid) was Amazing, from keeping the house clean, set up the dinner/breakfast table, assisting us with everything we needed to cooking great meals. Everything she cooked was great. Loved her personality, always smiling and just being great.. great hospitality. You must stay here. Don’t look no further if this house is available around your dates. Very spacious bedrooms all four of them. Everyone has their own bathroom, the pool was cleaned everyday. Thank you for making our couples trip successful.

Birthday experience

Pictures do this property no Justice. Between the very timely and effective communication from Jenny - to the amazing breakfast and lunch provided by Dil. They truly helped make my birthday a special trip. The home is breathtaking. It’s relatively close to just about everything - and the concierge experience that works with this VRBO will help you through all you need.
