Experience the beauty of Hendersonville, North Carolina. Situated on a small farm several miles out of town, our Cabin offers a relaxing get-away for a weekend or comfortable living quarters for a longer time.
We are both lovers of wood and that love is reflected in the Cabin. We think you'll enjoy coming home to that warmth and beauty.
The roomy bedroom has a cedar and mountain Laurel headboard with a cedar log bench at the foot of the king size bed. The bathroom has a spacious walk-in tiled shower with a corner jucuzzi to the side of the shower. There is a half bath off the kitchen and living room area. A unique pull out ladder leads you up to the large carpeted loft with 3 twin beds for extra sleeping quarters.
We are open year round and our Cabin is available for weekend, weekly or monthly rental.
We hope to see you soon.
Keywords: fully furnished private romantic mountain getaway on small operating farm with fruit orchard, area attractions nearby
We've lived and worked on these 6 acres since 1992, and we are quite a busy couple.
We enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables and raise a variety on our farm including apples, peaches, nectarine, cherries and plums. We have a small fenced in cow pasture and a few laying hens. Both of us have a farming background.
Clair is a building contractor and works with his sons. They specialize in framing with exposed timber beam systems.
Martha spends her time with our grandchildren and keeping the books for the Construction and Cabin businesses.
We are also involved in our local Mennonite Church.
Martha Steiner purchased this cabin in 2007
We personally built this Cabin of our dreams with wood and timbers cut on Clair's sawmill. We are within easy driving distance of a number of area attractions which include Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, The Biltmore House, Pisgah Forest, Dupont Forest, Flat Rock Playhouse and The Carl Sandburg Home. These are all within 30 minutes from Our Cabin. Than we have downtown Hendersonville which has many shops including antique shops and a Mast General Store to visit and lots of eating places which are only a 10 - 15 minute drive. We have ski slopes in the winter and hiking, waterfalls, and horseback riding in the summer. Whatever your interest in the mountains, you're sure to find it here in Hendersonville.
This is one of the most clean, exceptional cabins, very functional in all aspects - bathroom, full kitchen and the fact that you have kleenex's, paper towels, extra towels, blankets and cleaning supplies.
What a wonderful cottage we were able to stay for just one night. Martha was so accomodating when we were in need of a place to stay at the last minute! Could not have asked for anything better with this cottage. The property is beautiful, private, cozy and the pond was was beautiful. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a quaint place to stay in the Hendersonville area!!! Thanks again Martha!!!
Thank you so much for the opportunity to experience one of your beautiful cabins. Although it was a late notice on my part, you were still able to accomodate us. The cabin was everything we dreamed of!!! The seclusion, privacy, quiet and cozyness made a perfect remedy for a busy week. Your location is perfect just minutes from I-26 and downtown Hendersonville. I will recommend your place to everyone. Thank you again and God bless.
The most perfectly relaxing and scenic place to stay near all that this area has to offer. Thanks again!
