Loft in Paradise 5 miles from Nisqually entrance to Mt Rainier Longmire Paradise
IMPORTANT!! BEFORE YOU BOOK, please read the entire listing and confirm to me that you have read it and agree to what you have read. 1) This is a downstairs unit and there will most likely be guests staying in the upstairs unit and you WILL hear them. The upstairs guests in turn, have agreed when they book to be mindful of noise levels but you will hear them. 2) LOOK at the photos and confirm that you know the ceiling in the sleeping loft is low and you will not be able to stand up straight unless you are 5' tall or less. 3) The kitchen is a kitchenette and NOT designed for intricate meal prep. Simple things can be prepared using the microwave and countertop oven. Refrigerator is medium size. Originally an RV garage transformed into a cozy space with loft area for sleeping. The concrete floor keeps the place cool on hot summer days. Electric crystal rock fireplace and baseboard heaters for heat. There are NO shared spaces with the upstairs guests except the driveway where you will park. You have your own private deck, bbq and firepit behind the loft. Your entrance is on the opposite side of the building from the upstairs guests' entrance. AGAIN, PLEASE CONFIRM that you have read the listing in it's entirety and are aware of the space details listed above. Also, please include an introduction message about yourself and and anyone else included in the reservation. This space is managed and cared for independently by myself and not run by a large rental management company so I cannot afford to have negative feedback and strive to provide a clean, comfortable and pleasant space. Please book mindfully so that you are not disappointed and then leave a bad review that directly affects the owner. There are many larger cabins in the area and a lodge in Ashford so please make sure that this place will suit your needs before you book. Fortunately 98% of guests love the space but there is that 2% who book without reading the listing and then are upset by something. The loft is only 5 miles to the Nisqually entrance of Mt Rainier National Park. Through this entrance, you can continue on to Stevens Canyon, Ohanapecosh. White River and Sunrise.

I wish I knew ahead of time they’re would be neighbors right on top of us and the WiFi only worked for the first 15 minutes of us being there.

Kimberly, It is obvious that you did not read the listing when you were booking this loft. It CLEARLY states that there is another rental above and that you WILL hear them. Please go back and look at the listing so that you realize that this was in fact stated. The guests above have also agreed to be mindful of noise when they book. Also, when you booked you were well within the no refund cancellation period but you asked me if you could change the dates because of your own personal reasons. I could very well have declined your request for any reason whatsoever but I changed your reservation for you immediately because I know life happens and that's the human thing to do as well as being an accommodating host.
As far as the WiFi is concerned, I have not heard complaints from any other guests. When I am cleaning the places, I have excellent reception. The only time reception is bad is when it is raining heavily which is out of my control.
If you look at the entire listing, as anyone booking a property should responsibly do, under Rules and Policies there are notes: 1)Guest apartment above loft and you will hear them 2)Please confirm via message that you understand there is a possibility of noise from rental space above. Those guests are asked to be mindful of noise.
Kimberly, you did not send me a message to confirm so you did not read the listing.
For anyone booking a place on ANY platform, PLEASE do be responsible and read the listing in its entirety and look at the photos before making a conscious decision to book someone’s property. You are hurting other people when you do not do your own due diligence and then leave bad reviews after your stay. Decide whether or not the place is suited to your wants and needs. If it is not then please do not book a place then complain about it and leave a bad review after you have stayed. This is an unfair practice that has a truly negative impact on small individual owners who rent out their places as their sole livelihood. Thoughtless negative reviews can be absorbed by larger hotel chains and vacation rental companies whereas small owners cannot afford to have bad reviews and strive to offer a 10/10 experience. If this space does not suit your needs, there are many larger cabins and a hotel lodge in Ashford that would most likely satisfy the accommodations you are seeking, but be prepared to pay 3-5 times the price. Please take the time to look at the listing and then book mindfully so that you are not disappointed and leave thoughtless, unwarranted negative reviews that negativley impact peoples lives and ability to make a modest living in the place they live.

This is a very clean, cozy and beautifully furnished unit close to Mt Raineer. The kitchenette is fully stocked. Plenty of heaters made it nice and warm after our hike.
Close to the park entry. With it being where it is, there were definitely a lot of spiders.

Yes we are definitely in the woods here which is what makes this place so beautiful and peaceful and there are creatures of all sorts. Deer, elk, rabbits, raccoons, garter snakes, frogs, moles, shrews, and the little harmless spiders that take care of the bugs. Wipe them away one day and find new ones the next. They are harmless and just part of the environment. Absolutely NO insecticides are used indoors.
Great spot for visiting rainier paradise region! Had no issues during our stay, but I didn’t realize there’s another unit attached so it was less private than I thought as we did hear the other people kinda a lot through the wall. No problems was just surprised by that. Very cute and comfy loft would stay again!

You must not have read the listing in its entirety where it is clearly stated that there is another unit above and that you WILL hear them. Not sure how to get potential guests to read the property description. Otherwise, thank you for the nice review and we are happy that you enjoyed your stay.
My girlfriend and I stayed at this property for two nights over the long weekend. Our goal was to have a base where we can go back to after a long day of hiking at Mount Rainier. It was the perfect location. Amenities was good. I would stay here again.
Linnie was an amazing host, she is an extremely sweet lady, who was super communicative and welcoming! Her rental was awesome and perfect for 1 or 2 people looking to spend some time on the Paradise side of Mount Rainier! I would give Linnie 6 out of 5 stars if I could. Will definitely be back!
This property was is in a perfect location for a trip to Mt Rainier. This is a transformed RV garage and is very nicely decorated, perfect for a couple. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need for a a quick bite to eat.
Great location to the national park and helpful host communication. We wished the place had been cleaned more thoroughly - many, many cobwebs throughout, along the staircase and kitchen shelving. Please note the bedroom loft has a very low ceiling (5'), and we definitely heard the upstairs footsteps, which were only an issue early on the morning of our departure.

I do all the cleaning myself and did not see as many spider webs as you stated in the review. Hopefully you appreciated how clean the place was in general. We are in the woods here and in the summer the spiders are very active and I choose not to use pesticides for health and environmental reasons. I wipe them down when I see them but they build them back just as quickly. They are harmless and just a part of living out here in this beautiful wooded area. The webs are definitely not an indication that the place had not been cleaned well. Also the listing states that the loft ceiling is low. You must not have read the listing in it's entirety if that took you by surprise.
Great location near Rainier and a great little loft cabin! The location was well shaded so stayed cool even during a warm summer week, and everything was wonderful for our short stay. Some basic kitchen materials including a toaster and coffee maker came in useful. We would recommend Wildberry for dinner as the Thai-Nepalese food was fantastic - as was the Ukrainian dinner spot nearby!
Perfect little loft and location to Rainier! The loft space has everything you need. There are plenty of heat sources so we were nice and cozy! The town is very small with limited restaurants that do close early!! Make sure you look into that before hiking for the day. Copper creek was sooo delicious.. check them out. Also would suggest making a reservation for the cannibal hot tubs. The host was super quick to respond and very kind. :)
This place is a perfectly appointed "tiny home." Well supplied with cutlery, plates, appliances. Bathroom stocked with all needs. The owner describes a low ceiling in the bedroom loft. It is lower than we anticipated but since it is only for sleeping, it works! Easy communication, easy house info and the Mt. Ranier area is amazing!!
This was a nice place to crash for a couple of days before attempting Mount Rainier. I could hear the people in the cabin rental next door, talking, walking, and even snoring. So if you are a light sleeper bring good ear plugs.
Did a small trip with my sister! We’ve been to Ashford before so didn’t need a big place! Great bang for our buck! Got to the park everyday before reservations because it was so close. Do wish it had a TV. But we were fine without it! Would stay again!
Perfect spot for a little mountain getaway. Stayed here with my husband for our anniversary trip to Mt. Rainier and it was great. Quiet and calm neighborhood, no problems. Only thing that gave me a little uneasiness was that there’s no curtains for the window by the bed but I got used to it quickly. It was actually nice to wake up all green in the backyard. Just note that if you need complete sadness to sleep, this probably isn’t the place as we woke up with the sun. Overall a great stay. Thank you to the host for sharing this space with us.
There was no mention of an apartment or rental above this unit. The people above this had kids and I could hear the footsteps so I was up at 5:50am when the kids were up and running around. Can hear them talking as well.

It is clearly stated in the Rules and Policies section that is seen when a guest is booking a reservation. There are actually 2 references (see below) made to the possibility of hearing the guests above, however this is not usually a problem.
1)Guest apartment above loft and you will hear them
2)Please confirm via message that you understand there is a possibility of noise from rental space above. Those guests are asked to be mindful of noise.
Apparently you did not read the listing in it's entirety prior to booking as there is definitely mention of an apartment or rental above this unit. The listing is absolutely transparent with that fact.
