Jackson Village Home on Ellis River

This house is in an ideal location, close to the best hiking and skiing in the White Mountains! Walking distance to the Jackson Covered Bridge, Jackson Ski Touring trails, Wentworth Golf and beautiful Jackson waterfalls, you'll be close to outdoor activities and restaurants in the village for your enjoyment all year round. We are within 10 miles of both Attitash and Wildcat ski areas.

This well maintained home on the Ellis River features an outdoor fire pit area, screened-in porch, and wrap-around deck overlooking the Ellis River and the Covered Bridge. The main house has three bedrooms. A separate staircase leads to the studio apartment with a full bathroom, full kitchen, and a small balcony overlooking the Ellis River and the Covered Bridge. 2-car garage available.

The main house features a clean open floor plan. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen that opens to a sun/breakfast room with a garden view on one side and on the other side a large dining area with a farmers table overlooking the deck and the Ellis River.

There are 2 comfortable living rooms separated by a brick hearth.

The 1st floor bedroom has a queen bed and is located off the main living room in close proximity to a bathroom with a shower.

The large 2nd floor primary bedroom has a queen bed and a full size convertible sofa bed, connecting to a full bath. The room has large windows with views towards Mount Washington and the river.

The 3rd bedroom on the second floor is a nice cozy room with 2 twin beds across from the full bath.

The private studio apartment is accessed by a separate interior staircase. The space accommodates a queen size bed, twin sized day bed, small dining table, kitchen, full bath and balcony. This space is counted as the 4th bedroom. Together, the main house and attached apartment space offer plenty of space, privacy, and 2 full working kitchens, making it an ideal place for gatherings of friends or extended family.

We had an excellent stay here with friends. The house is very spacious and each room feels like it's in its own area so there is privacy, but we spent most of our time in the very comfortable common areas anyway. We loved using the wood stove. The kitchen was very well equipped with utensils and cookware. The host provided many recommendations of what to do and where to eat nearby, and made everything super simple for check-in and check-out. Would highly recommend this place!

We enjoyed a fully stocked kitchen, newer appliances, multiple living areas and large dining table for family meals. On cold winter days, we loved the wood burning stove stocked with wood and kindling. Miles of cross country ski trails are a 5 minute drive away. Down hill ski area maybe 15 minute drive. Apartment over the garage was perfect for a young family needing privacy. This place is cozy, quiet and well situated to Jackson.

Family accommodation for the weekend

The space was incredible for our needs of our family going to a wedding at the nearby inn. All of us were able to stay comfortably and it was so close to the nearby venue we could walk. We loved the view and how secluded it was from main roads. The fire pit was great for use at night and the house itself was decorated adorably!

About Us: My family is originally from Rhode Island. We have owned vacation homes in Mount Washington Valley for over 50 years. We grew up enjoying the mountains, skiing in the winter and lots of outdoor activities. A favorite time of the year is the Fall foliage season when the leaves are at their most colorful. In the warmer months, it is a pleasure to sit on the screened porch and listen to the Ellis River. You can walk on to Jackson Ski Touring trails from the house.
