Mackay Bunkhouse - Beautiful home with large deck right on the Big Lost River

The bunkhouse is a retreat right on the Big Lost River. The huge deck with patio furniture overlooks the river, just feet away. The wood floors and stunning western walls give you a true western feel. Bedrooms, laundry room, and full kitchen. Wi-fi and smart tv help you enjoy your stay, but with the 180 degree views of mountains you will not want to stay inside. The large deck has many places to enjoy the sound of the river close by or for barbequing a meal. Fishing, ATV riding, snowmobiling, hunting, hiking and many other adventures are close by.

The host was very nice, and quick to respond with any questions that I had. The place was very clean and comfortable with a great view. Everything I could have asked for. We will be staying again annually for sure.

From the huge deck overlooking the Lost River to the large and well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, this place was a delight. Super nice hosts.

We had a Beautiful long weekend with our Family. The Host was very easy to work with ,the home was rite next to big lost river. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful house with great location.

We recently stayed at the Mackay bunkhouse for 3 nights and 4 days.The location was amazing. Our days was spent enjoying the view of the mountains and our nights were spent out on the beautiful patio listening to the river. The house was fully stocked.We felt right at home from the décor to the comfy beds.Mike and Theresa were very accommodating and fabulous hosts!

Fabulous experience!

We had an amazing time staying at the Bunkhouse. Everything was as close to perfect as you could get & Theresa was more than accommodating. Inside was well appointed, clean & comfortable. But the star of the property is the wonderful back deck just steps from the river not to mention the 360 degree views of the best mountains Idaho has to offer! Wr definitely plan on returning!

This was a great property with the river right off the back deck. Just a short drive outside of Mackay. Owner was great and easy to work with. Property was perfect for our fishing/hiking trip! It was super clean and very comfortable.

We live right on the property so we are easily accessible for questions or directions about the area. We love our clear river and big scenic mountains that surround the 40 acre property.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

You will be surrounded by mountains and the river flows just feet outside the back deck. It is off the main highway and quiet, yet close enough to drive the short 3 miles to town for a bite to eat, have an espresso or grab some produce from the local grocery store.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We have everything at our fingertips. Fishing, ATV trails, hunting, snowmobile riding, horseback riding, hiking, hot pools and more all within short distances. You can ride your ATV, UTV or horse directly from the property and head to any trail. Mt. Borah, Idaho's tallest peak is a few miles away. Hike any of the tallest 9 peaks in Idaho and then soak in the river or relax by the fire afterwards.
