The cottage has a complete renovation (walls, ceilings, floors) post hurricane Ian, updated with new central heat and AC, indoor and outdoor showers, large screen Amazon Fire TV (with Prime and others included) and Wifi. The cottage has three bedrooms, two with queen size beds, one with twin size and a loft with an additional twin beds. Very private back deck looking toward Ding Darling Wild Life Refuge. Three miles from Recreation Center with lap pool, complete gym and classes. Two miles to cross into Captiva. Quite and beautiful setting to relax and have fun and observe birds and nature. Beautiful scenery around the house. Fifteen minute walk or 2 minute drive to the closest beach, Bowmans Beach, cited as one of the best beaches in the world. With all the amenities needed at a beach, they have a shower, bathrooms, play area and workout trail.

Perfect location on Sanibel

Spent a month at the cottage that backs up to Ding Darling Preserve and is very close to Bowman’s Beach and Blind Pass Beach for shelling. The area has made great strides in recovering from 3 hurricanes! The cottage is comfortable, well equipped, and private. It’s an easy trip to good restaurants on the Island. Our favorites were Doc Fords, Over Easy Cafe, the Lighthouse Cafe and Wickies. Lots of activities for the winter season. A good choice for Sanibel!

7 weeks in Paradise

Several visits to Ft. Meyers in recent years. This is the first stay on Sanibel-a completely different experience. Quiet, good beach availability, excellent restaurants. Weather was superb. House was in good shape- crazy traffic pattern that we got used to. Overall a joyful experience.

April in Sanibel is just wonderful

Such a great location and comfortable house. I can not wait to go back. Beach so close and birds walking around in the neighborhood!

A great place to relax away from NE winters

The house is clean and well maintained with all of the comforts of home. The kitchen is fully equipped for casual and more formal meals. We enjoyed cooking on the barbie. This home is spacious and we and our guests had plenty of options for relaxing. TVs and wi fi worked. We were near enough to the beaches? Sanibel activities (community center)and restaurants. Hated to leave. Will stay in this property again next year!

Had a wonderful time!

Fishing and shelling were great. House was unique, clean and comfortable with everything we needed to make the stay enjoyable. Lots to do in the area. Beaches were kind of a distance to walk, but use the bikes and get there in minutes. Would love to stay here again.

A delightful cottage

This cottage is located just across the road from Bowman;s Beach, the best beach on Sanibel. And the Home Away description is accurate. The house is equipped with most anything you might need for vacation: Beach chairs and towels, bicycles, kitchen utensils, big screen TV (we were there during the Olympics, so the TV was great.), WiFi, etc. The screened in lanai is perfect for dining. Each of the bedrooms has a direct access to the outdoors. The house can sleep 9 people, but there are only 1 & 1/2 baths. You may have traffic jams around the bathrooms :) There is an outside shower.

Very nice. Quiet.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our week at this cozy Sanibel rental. Property is as described. Biking to the beach is so convenient. Bed was comfy. Lanai was perfect for entertaining a few friends for dinner one night. Owner was communicative and easy to deal with. We will definitely be contacting you in the future, Chris to schedule another vacation. Hate that we only have one more day here! Thanks for sharing your island home with us! :-)

great house

Very comfortable and spacious house with a lovely screened in porch for outdoor dining, a roomy home for several couples to enjoy, the kitchen was wonderful for preparing meals, great beaches for shelling, 22 miles of bike paths for exercising daily. We had a great stay.

I love the extraordinary natural beauty including beautiful beaches and wildlife and activities available, particularly biking, kayaking, and the recreation center with pool lap lanes, tennis, basketball and exercise classes. Dozens of restaurants in Sanibel and Captiva. Easy access to Ding Darling Refuge with viewing of hundreds of migratory birds.

Easy access to two terrific public beaches, one walking and biking distance half mile and the other about 2 miles from the property. Quiet serene setting where you can forget all of your usual concerns and thoroughly relax. The calming nature of Sanibel will make you want to return every year.

Quiet peaceful setting while looking in the back of the house Ding Daring Refuge comes right to our property line. Little to no light pollution , or upward lighting allowing us to view the spectacular stars and moon at night. Privet road.
