Tom’s house was perfect for our family of 4. Clean and comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen for all you cooking needs. Beautiful pool and outdoor space and a short walk to the beach. The fenced in yard was great for our dogs. We would definitely stay again!

This house has it all! Fabulous warm pool with plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen for cooking any meal, quiet location for peaceful nights, comfortable beds, walking distance to the best beach in Sanibel! Our family spend the best week here and can’t wait to come back.

Great location

Our family spent 2 weeks at the property & it provided everything that we needed. The location is great, a short walk to the beach & a block from the best ice cream on the island. Will definitely consider staying there again.

We just stayed at Tom's house and we had an Excellent Vacation! My parents in-law, wife and our 5 boys loved the location to the beaches, loaded kitchen supplies /utensils, and large pool. We played Marco Polo each night (the pool is quite large) and enjoyed the songs of this birds. The pictures do not give the property justice, and their responses to questions are unmatched (called us on a Sunday within 10 minutes of the question). We cannot wait to come back, Thank You!!

We had the best time staying on the Island! Tom was so helpful from start to finish. The house was fully furnished and allowed for complete comfort for all 8 of us. The outdoor pool area was a joy and the short walk to the beach was even better! Walking distance was great for shopping and ice cream too. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, Tom! We will definitely stay again if available.

Perfect Location!

We loved out stay at Tom’s Place I. Quiet friendly neighborhood. Super easy walk to the beach, the bay , cute shops and the best breakfast at the Lighthouse Cafe. The home is beachy and comfortable with excellent WiFi . The pool is a bonus on a hot day . We can’t wait to come back . Tom is the perfect host .

Beautiful beach house!!!

Love the vibrant beach colors house and all the decorations, big enough to share with my daughters and boyfriends, close enough to walk to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beach house. My boys, five and ten years old, never missed a day in the pool. They also enjoyed the loft. The decor was perfect and the kitchen had everything one would need to prepare any type of meal. My boys are still saying that they miss the beach house! We would definitely like to rent again.

Fun decor, great pool, short walk to a lovely beach

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for cleanliness was because the outdoor area around the pool could have been cleaner, but I suspect the 7 inches of rain that Sanibel received just a day before we arrived had a lot to do that. The home itself was spotless with everything we needed. We enjoyed walking to the beach every morning and soaking in the ocean. The pool was the perfect spot to cool off in the afternoon. We hope to be able to return!

Excellent Stay

The space was excellent for our family. The beds in the loft were set back which gave an air of privacy. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking, baking, and eating essentials. The beach is literally an 8- 10 minute walk from the house. Tom is an outstanding host. From our initial inquiry to our last day, he was available to answer questions, address issues (of which there were very few), and look out for our well- being.

Lovely Home and Perfect Location

Tom’s place was wonderful! It was everything we dreamed of having and more. We had plenty of room for all 9 members of our crew, and everyone was comfortable. The kitchen was great, and we were able to make many meals throughout our stay. There was plenty of outdoor and indoor seating to make sure everyone had a place to enjoy a meal together. We found the location of the house wonderful for our family as we were able to easily bike ride to the lighthouse, restaurants, shops, and Bailey’s general store. The house was also STEPS away from the beach. No more than a 5 minute walk. Maybe our favorite part of the house was the private pool in the backyard. It was so clean and cool and even had a cover to keep out the bugs! We swam every day, and it was a nice addition for our crew that aren’t daily beach goers. It’s obvious that the owners strive to keep everything clean and comfortable for their guests. Also, our friendly neighbor brought us over a home grown bag of mangos... the best we have ever had! Honestly, we could go on and on about this house but will end with simply saying we 100% recommend this property and are ready to go back!

Paradise on the East End of the Island

Tom’s property is truly amazing. The location cannot be beat! We walked to the beach, The Lighthouse Cafe, Gramma Dots. His home has a private oasis in the back, complete with pool and lots of birds to watch. Coffee in the morning on the deck and wine in the evening was heavenly. The house was immaculate (I am kind of a stickler when it come so cleanliness). Being able to bring our family dog was a huge bonus for us. The set-up of the property with a fenced-in area was ideal. Even better our dog was allowed on the beach as long as he was leashed. Tom’s home is beautifully decorated and instantly felt like home. We had a minor issue and Tom responded immediately! We cannot wait to go back!

Location, location, location!

I hesitated writing this review as I don’t want the word out: this is a great property! The location is perfect - on the east end of the island, just a short walk to the beach. The private pool was enjoyed frequently and by all. The owner could not have been nicer or more responsive.

Beach Home Paradise

We immediately fell in love with this property. It had all we needed for our 14 day stay, plus more. We cooked most of our meals in the well furnished kitchen. The pool area was amazing! It provided refreshment after a hot beach day. An extra perk were the ceiling fans and area beneath the back deck to stay cool while the kiddos swam. The entire back deck, which is the length of the house, as well as the pool area was screened in. We had no issues with bugs. The decent sized fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog. While the home is very close to the beach, it was a rather rough walk for our two sons (7yo & 9yo). I recommend bringing a wagon or cart. However, my wife enjoyed her solo walks to the beach. The high speed internet was also great. The neighborhood was quiet. The most noise was caused by our boys! We would definitely book this home again!

Perfect vacation!

This home is everything it claims to be and more! Perfect location for walking, beach, fishing and the best pool ever that is meticulously maintained. Great location for all other activities too. It was so easy to stay there with our dog. It was hard to leave. Best of all, it just feels like you are welcome in someone's well cared for home.

Our Little Bit of Paradise Found

We have just returned from four weeks at this property and I could not recommend it highly enough. We were two couples and it suited us as in effect we had two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms which was what we were looking for. Sanibel is such a relaxing and friendly and safe feeling place. I have to praise the owner highly. If we had any queries and problems he got back to us so promptly by email and the one occasion we had to phone him. His open and friendly manner was so welcoming. The price for four weeks was excellent. We had never spent four weeks in one place before but the area offers so much. We enjoyed particularly a boat trip by Captiva Cruises, a visit to the Edison Ford Winter Estate, the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge, the fishing pier and the beaches. In four weeks we never ran out of places to eat. The restaurants on the island are numerous and you will not run out of different places to eat in four weeks. We particularly liked Doc Ford's, Jacaranda and Cips among others. The barbecue at the villa also saw lots of use and was excellent. We certainly found our little paradise both the villa and the place. We hope to be back!

Karmen and I have been coming to Sanibel since 1994 and love it so much we decided to buy this house in 2002 so we could come more often. Our goal is to retire here in a few years and are working towards that goal. We commute from the Ft Lauderdale area across Alligator Alley to Sanibel countless times during the year when the house is vacant and spend a month here in the summer when the kids are out of school. We are constantly updating and improving the property for ourselves and our guests enjoyment.

As I mentioned above, we have been coming to Sanibel since 1994 and every year we rented a house from two to four weeks. We loved it so much we decided to buy a home so we could spend more time here and eventually retire to the Island. We love the quiet unspoiled beaches, the lighthouse and fishing pier. It has great restaurants, wildlife and the people are so friendly. A very laid back and stress free island. It has everything on the island one could ask for. We have enjoyed sanibel for nearly 20 years and have no doubt you will too.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We enjoy the relaxation and stress free atmostphere here on the Island along with the beautiful white unspoiled beaches that are much nicer than those on the east coast of Florida. We love fishing on the pier or from the beach along with touring the island on our bicycles which are also there for our guests. The house is beautifully decorated with an Island/Beach theme and very large heated pool with a balcony looking over the pool and patio with Gas grill dining table chairs under large fans to help keep you cool on hot summer days.
Our dogs also love staying here and the long walks on the beach which often include hours of swimming. The beaches here are pet friendly and dogs are welcome as long as you clean up after them.
There is also a goggie door from the house outside where they can roam the enclosed back yard if desired.
