Great stay, beautiful view!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at this scenic location. Home was cozy, clean, and had everything needed for our stay. Complimentary wine was a nice surprise! The king bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. It was so peaceful watching the river and observing the fall colors of the trees out back. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Deb was a wonderful host. Great communication, and very gracious in every way. Took our grandchildren to the fish hatchery as she suggested, and they had a ball. We will definitely be back for another stay!

Clean house, beautiful setting, close to trails galore

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic setting with a back porch that will likely make me jealous for a decade. We saw 3 river otters in the first 5 minutes. Kingfisher, dippers, osprey. This morning a pileated woodpecker, which is the largest woodpecker in North America, was at ground level on the cedar tapping away. Unfortunately we didn't see the otters again. House was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our group. Lots of parking. Well set up for a mini-adventure home base.

Nice clean home

  • 5 of 5

Great little place to stay for a trip to Oakridge. Convenient location. Sleeping accommodations were a bit tight for six grown men with a king, queen, trundle bed and pull out couch. Wifi and cable worked great but house needs a new flat screen TV as the current one is a bit dated and hard to see. The home was very clean and well stocked. Clean bathrooms with plenty of hot water. BBQ and deck overlooking the Willamette river. Owner is planning to update kitchen, but it worked just fine for our needs. Quiet and private. Highly recommended. Owner is great to work with and very responsive. Worth going for some of the best mountain biking in Northern California.

Very nice house feet from the Willamette

  • 5 of 5

Thanks for sharing your house with us. We really liked this property. The house was well-laid out, with a bedroom and bath and one side of the living area and two bedrooms and a bath on the other. The living room looks out onto the river and a covered back porch with tables is even closer to the water. A peaceful place to sit and eat. The house was very quiet and well-stocked. We hiked in the area during the day (lots of old growth forest nearby) and enjoyed the house at night. There were a couple of good places to eat a few blocks away--we especially liked Lee's, which offered very good chicken and vegies, among other dishes, in a tasty Chinese sauce. The owners were very quick to respond to questions.

Oakridge bike trip

  • 4 of 5

This pace is perfect for a group looking for a comfortable place to stay for a bike trip. It has everything you need! The only bummer was that the propane ran out on the last night while we were making burgers. Everything else was awesome! We will be back.

Great river front cottage!

  • 5 of 5

Very nice house about 50 feet from the Willamette River. It was clean and fully equipped with a nice covered deck and barbecue. The house is on a large lot and very quiet.

Our group really enjoyed the hiking and mountain biking in the area (Alpine Trail, Heckletooth Mountain, Lawler Trail, Dead Mountain). Loved the town of Oakridge and hope to come back to the town and this house again some time.

And Butch and Debbie were great to work with over the phone.
