Crystal Lodge – The Ultimate Vacation Home in Northern Michigan

Welcome to Crystal Lodge, a stunning log and cedar-sided vacation home nestled on 8.5 private acres just 1 mile from the heart of Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa in beautiful Northern Michigan. Whether you’re seeking a winter retreat with skiing and snowmobiling or a summer getaway with hiking, boating, and outdoor adventures, Crystal Lodge offers the perfect setting for families, friends, and groups.

Cozy and Comfortable Accommodations
This unique vacation rental features two fully-equipped units, with abundant sleeping and living space to accommodate large groups.**FROM APRIL 1ST TO JANUARY 5TH BOTH UNITS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL FEE, offering sleeping arrangements for up to 20 people. DURING SKI SEASON (Jan 5th to March 31st), ONLY ONE UNIT IS INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL FEE, accommodating up to 10 people.

Each unit offers:

3 cozy bedrooms: 2 with queen-sized beds and 1 with a full-sized bed.
Loft areas: Each unit includes a loft with a twin bed and a twin-over-full bunk bed, perfect for extra guests or kids.
2 full bathrooms: One with a shower stall downstairs and one with a tub/shower combination upstairs.
Fully-equipped kitchen: Complete with a center island, dishwasher, and everything you need to prepare meals together.
For larger groups, a custom wall can be opened to combine both units, creating a spacious, interconnected home for up to 20 guests. (Please note: This option is not available during ski season; only one unit is available from December 16th to March 31st.) **Special request for both units may be available for an extra fee for certain dates.**

Winter Wonderland & Year-Round Outdoor Fun
Located on 8.5 acres of pristine land, Crystal Lodge is a true four-season retreat:

Winter: During ski season, take advantage of the nearby Crystal Mountain Resort, just 1 mile away, for skiing, snowboarding, and spa services. Explore the snowy landscape with your snowshoes, cross-country skis, fat bikes, or snowmobiles. After a day of adventure, relax around the outdoor fire pit or unwind inside by the gas fireplace.
Summer: Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, mushroom picking, birdwatching, and plenty of space to simply relax. The property is ideal for outdoor games, family activities, and taking in the beauty of Northern Michigan.
In addition to the property’s expansive outdoor space, Crystal Lodge is centrally located to access some of the best attractions and activities Northern Michigan has to offer, including:

Boating, beaches, and fishing on nearby lakes and rivers.
Golfing, kayaking, and biking opportunities in the area.
Comfort and Style Inside
Both units feature stylish, comfortable interiors with everything you need for a relaxing stay:

Relaxing living rooms with leather sectional sofas, ottomans, and chairs surrounding the gas fireplace – perfect for family gatherings or cozy nights in.

The home was spacious and comfortable for our big group, and we felt like we had plenty of privacy with the wooded lot and campfire space outside. The house was well-stocked with towels, kitchen items, and toiletries, and it had ample parking for our vehicles. The hosts were responsive and helpful with any questions we had as well. We truly enjoyed our family gathering and would absolutely stay again!

The cabin was lovely; lots of space for family/friends to gather. The kitchen was well-outfitted and even had spices! The open floor plan was great for socializing, and the dining room table extended for game night! We didn’t ski this time around because our family doesn’t ski and the weather wasn’t cooperative, but the location to Crystal Mountain is very convenient. The host was super accommodating and responsive to our communication. Would definitely consider this space for future friend/family get-togethers. Had so much fun that I don’t think I took a single picture!

Amazing home and stay

Everything was clean, exactly as stated, spacious, and an overall perfect stay! We would very happily stay again and would recommend this house for those interested!!

Beautiful vacation

Lovely property. Clean. Close to Crystal Mountain. Lots of amenities and space. Kitchen well stocked- both units! Hope to stay there again.

Crystal Lodge is our way of sharing this love for nature and adventure with others.

We wanted to create a space where families can come together, unplug, and make lasting memories. Whether it’s exploring the miles of trails for snowmobiling and SXS riding, hitting the slopes at Crystal Mountain Resort, or enjoying a peaceful hike through the woods, this property offers something for everyone.

We also love hosting friends and family, and Crystal Lodge is the perfect place to do just that. With 8.5 acres of private land, there’s ample space for kids to roam, play, and discover the joys of nature. And when the day winds down, we can gather around the fire pit, share stories, roast marshmallows, and relax in each other's company.
