Plenty of space in this 10 room colonial situated on a lovely private acre a short distance to bike paths, Edgartown village and beaches. Huge gourmet kitchen, spacious dining room, living room, den and large large family room with ping pong. 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths. House sleeps 10 comfortably. Enjoy our kayaks and bikes. 30 x 16 x 4 heated In ground pool. Beautiful and comfortable, this is the perfect vacation house in a private community of fine homes in fabulous Edgartown. Seven passenger Toyota Highlander available to rent May to October ($250/day or $875/wk).

Wonderful week away

The house was perfect for our family. Nice, big common areas to all hang out inside and outside. The yard was amazing with a fantastic pool. We could ride our bikes into town or walk to Morning Glory, the location was great.

Great house and property

The house was perfect for an extended weekend to attend JawsFest on Martha’s Vineyard. Spacious house so no one felt crowded (two family vacation). House has everything you could possibly need and in a great neighborhood. We will be back!

Lovely spot for a group!

The house is spacious, the kitchen is very well-stocked, and the pool and yard were perfect for hanging out. Highly recommend to others traveling with a group!

4th time guests

Family of four, we enjoyed our stay as we have come to rely on over the years. The pool is an amazing new addition. Unfortunately, our Spring vacation was days too early in the season to take advantage. If you are a wine and/or glass snob, def bring your own glassware. We look forward to returning next year!

The perfect getaway on the vineyard!

Our group of 10 fit very comfortably in this large and welcoming home. The location was convenient to easily go out exploring and the heated pool made this property lovely to stay in as well. Sue was very easy to communicate with and you can tell the home is well cared for. Will definitely return in the future!

Week on the Vineyard

We had a great week despite rainy weather all thanks to this amazing property. Our kids spent hours in the pool, while we enjoyed all the outdoor amenities. The rec room with ping pong table provided indoor options for entertainment. The house more than comfortably fit 10 of us. The host was responsive and extremely helpful both prior and during our trip.

wonderful house

This was the nicest home we have rented on MV, or possibly anywhere. The house is clean, conveniently located, and spacious, with plenty of seating and room for the kids to safely romp around. The kitchen had nice appliances and all the necessary cooking equipment and utensils. The beds were also very comfortable. Host was responsive, and reached out in advance of our arrival to make sure everything was all set - a nice touch. Would not hesitate to rent here again!

Beautiful House!

We had an incredible stay at this vacation rental! The house was exceptionally clean and very spacious, giving everyone in our group plenty of room to relax. The property was clearly well-maintained, and all the amenities were in great working order. We also loved that the house is fully stocked with everything you could need! One of the highlights for us was the fabulous yard and pool area. The outdoor space was a true oasis, the pool was pristine, and we spent much of our stay lounging poolside, soaking up the sun. It felt like a private resort! Communication with Susan was easy and she was always very responsive. Overall, highly recommend!

Fantastic house in great neighborhood

This house was perfect for our golf trip. It was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved the open kitchen/dining room/peninsula floor plan where we congregated the most. It was nice to wake up and have coffee in this bright area and reminisce about our golf adventures. The home-owner made the whole process very easy and was more than willing to help us even though we did not require much. We would definitely consider renting this house again. Thanks.

A true gem!

I’ve been coming to the Vineyard since I was around 10 years old with my family. Now when I go it’s still with family but with young daughters of my own (6 and 8), my parents and an uncle and a sibling or two stopping by. We’ve almost always stayed in Oak Bluffs for the past 30 years but we were looking to try something new this time and this turned out to be the PERFECT ESCAPE from covid, politics and homeschooling. At this home you feel like you hit the lottery and did something right to deserve such a well kept, peaceful, fun, all inclusive setting to kick back in and unplug (if that’s your aim). And that’s before even taking a dip in the heated pool. Sue was great to work with and correspond with in general and replied to any email I sent in a timely manner. For a brief moment the air wasn’t working that well on the first level but with Sue’s tips, the breeze and open windows it became a distant memory. The house is awesome, the enclosed yard is huge and well-maintained and pool was a perfect alternative to the beach. No complaints whatsoever and not a hiccup worth remembering. Biggest daily dilemma is whether or not you should leave to enjoy the usual MV treats or stay home all day and just enjoy life. My entire family agreed we would happily book again! 5 stars! p.s. I’m 25-1 in ping pong against family members because several nights we couldn’t pull ourselves away from the table.

Great home

This home was perfect for our group. The owner is wonderful- checking in on us to see how things were going. Check-in was a breeze. The house is also well provisioned including bikes and kayaks. The pool had lots of floaties and was a perfect temperature! Would definitely stay there again.

Incredible jouse on in Edgardown

This house was clean and spacious. It is in a wonderful location in Edgartown as well. The pictures in the listing do not do it justice! I highly recommend staying at this house and look forward to renting it again ourselves!

Perfect Family Gathering Place

Our extended family got together from DC, Virginia, Vermont, and Massachusetts for the first time on the Vineyard in too long! The Woodhaven House was absolutely perfect, the house was spacious and had so many different areas for all the activities of everyone; the pool was the best; it was so well equipped with kayaks, bikes, and everything you need for the beach; and the kitchen allowed for great cooking and ample opportunities to catch up on the events of the day. An unexpected discovery was all the walking trails just a short distance from the house that led to peaceful forests. Sue was so easy to work with, answering all questions promptly, and being generous with suggestions.

Amazing and Comfortable House!

We stayed in Sue's house for my 35th birthday with a group of 10 friends and family. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Sue was a great host. She checked up on us and made sure everything was running smoothly. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

Perfect house for our family vacation

This is an extremely spacious house for our two families, total of 9 people, adults and children. Each bedroom had extra space to spread out; all beds have mattress toppers; plus closet and drawers if needed in each room. Kitchen was huge and fully equipped. We found it hard to buy takeouts during Easter weekend so we ended up getting grocery at Stop and Shop and cooking all our meals. Location was great for us to bike out every day for 2 to 4 hours. Loved the biking trails at Martha’s Vineyard, best paved and safe paths for biking. (We brought our own bikes.) We couldn’t ask for anything more at Sue’s house. We wished we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy more amenities of the house but we only planned to stay 4 nights. Kayaks were fun but it was too cold in April! If we ever come back to MV, we will definitely look to rent the same house. Sue is a very attentive host and informed us of all the details prior to our stay. She has cleaners who kept the house spotless.

A perfect home for our family

This house was great for our family of 9 to spend some quality time together. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. The outdoor area with the pool, fire pit, grill and tables was definitely our favorite part. We would certainly come back again!

Awesome Martha’s Vineyard House

We do a family/friend vacation on Martha’s Vineyard every year and Sue’s property by far surpasses our previous stays. The property is beautiful, very roomy, and plenty of outside space for yard activities. I highly recommend Sue’s property for any Martha’s Vineyard stay!

Great Stay - Wish There Was A Property Manager

After flying a red eye with layovers, all we wanted to do with take a nap and shower. Unfortunately, when we arrived, none of the beds had been made, there was a pile of wet laundry on the floor, and all the towels had been used. We called Sue and apparently the washer/dryer broke when the cleaning lady was there. She was quick to help us find a solution, and had some fresh towels sent a few hours later. We made all the beds with spare sheets we found. The next day, we noticed that the dishwasher was broken and so we hand washed all week. Sue reimbursed us some money, which was nice. None of these things were anyone's fault - just bad luck - but made me wish there was someone close by, like a property manager, that could help navigate some of these things. But hey, that's the gamble with a house rental...the owners are usually far away and living their own lives. Either way, HUGE house, great pool, quiet location. Only other note is the mattresses and pillows could use a slight upgrade. But that's just because I'm a comfort queen.
