Enjoy an enriching vacation at High Rock Rentals Log Cabin Resort in Black Mountain, NC. Please see our website at www.highrockrentals.com! There's no better way to truly experience the glory of the Blue Ridge Mountains than by lodging in this elegant creekside cabin rental. Creekside at High Rock is the perfect example of the very best that the Blue Ridge Mountain vacation rentals has to offer.

Creekside is a very special ( located 20 feet from the creek ), 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom cabin that can sleep up to 6 guests. You can sleep comfortably to the sounds of rushing water in the King size master bed, two full beds or the queen sleeper. There are 2 full bathrooms as well, one on each level. Amenities include: 4 person soothing Hot Tub, free fast speed reliable Wi-Fi, 3 HDTVs with Directv service, and one BLUE RAY player, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, a massive exterior hard-wood decks that includes cedar rocking chairs. A wood burning stove and outdoor fire pits, FREE FIRE WOOD IS PROVIDED. Hiking trails and the privacy of your own creek are just footsteps away from the home! This is a mountain cabin rental that takes mountaintop luxury to a new summit!

The home is privately secluded at 3,300 feet in elevation and is only 5 miles from downtown Black Mountain and a 25 minute drive into Asheville.

Pet policy - Dogs welcome, $50 pet fee per dog over 15 lbs, 3 dog limit. If selected, Pet Fee for 1st dog will be included in booking charges. Any Pet Fee for additional dogs will be charged separately after your reservation is processed.

Guests will be emailed a rental agreement separately from High Rock Rentals to be signed and returned to host after reservation is processed. Thank you.

The cabin was outstanding. Very quiet and private but had all the amenities. Beautiful scenery and only around 15 minutes to Black Mountain. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about the cabin was great. The road to the cabin was painful to drive due to all the bumps and work vehicles blocking the road. We expected some of this due the recovery efforts from the storm -- and the landlord was up front it was being worked on.

Thank you! The road work is completed and is much better now since you were there ( over a month ago) and as a reminder, you are not driving in the city as you arrive to this little slice of heaven. You are in the mountains and the roads are safe mountain roads and is part of the lore of experiencing Creekside at Highrock!

A very idyllic setting with everything you could need for a fun mountain trip while still being close to town. My only actual feedback is that there are no blinds anywhere in the house except the bathrooms. The bedroom has them too but they’re sheer so you’re waking up with the sunrise. This is obviously great during the day, you can take in the view but at night it would be nice to not feel so on display. Also, there are communal amenities on the property (which is fine) but with no blinds you can run into situations like we did, where a family taking the trail had kids just run up to our cabin and start looking inside. Not a fault of really anyone but good to keep in mind if you’re wanting a more private stay.

Thanks for the feed back. To be transparent, the cabin is extremely PRIVATE ( and we are rather shocked by this and shocked and disappointed that it would warrant a 4 star review ) as we have been renting this cabin for over 15 years and have never had any complaints about not having blinds. As a reminder when you come to the mountains ( not going into the city ) for vacation and for this particular log cabin setting, blinds would ruin the appeal and natural setting of the interior of the home. 99.9% of our guests love the large open uncovered windows in the living room area for viewing during the day and night hours. We do have curtains in the bedroom and they do cut down on most of the sunlight.....We do have another vacation log cabin ( called Hideaway ) 400 feet down the creek from Creekside and that cabin happened to have two very small kids ( for that same weekend ) that got away from their parents for about 10 seconds ( according to the parents ). Trust me, we have never had this complaint before in15 years as again, the cabin is ULTRA PRIVATE. You cannot get anymore private than Creekside or Hideaway!

Excellent property with awesome host!

My wife and I stayed here for her bday weekend. For the first time ever, we only left to go to the store! The cabin has an awesome location right next to the river and Mike and his wife are excellent hosts!

Perfect weekend getaway

We absolutely loved the Creekside cabin. If you are looking for a spot to listen to nature and just relax… this is the place. We will definitely be going back to this cabin!

Beautiful cabin near Blacl Mountain

We stayed in this cabin for a few Day during a trip to drop off a kid at summer camp. So relaxing and beautiful here, what a wonderful stream and great layout. Will definitely visit the site again.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

This cabin was wonderful. We stay in VRBO rentals several times a year. This place was the BEST! The owner thought of everything. We loved that the cabin felt remote, but was close to town. The sounds of the creek were so relaxing. We definitely plan to return.

We loved the isolation of this property. The creek running through the property was very relaxing. Tire swing was a hit with the grandchild.

Thank you. Yes, one of the big draws to this cabin is that it is privately secluded ( with a big creek only 20 feet from the home ), yet only 5 miles from downtown Black Mountain.

Tranquil and perfect!

Relaxing and fun

Perfect cabin for our family with young kids! We loved the property hikes and playing in the creek! It was an easy drive to Asheville and lots of hiking. Would definitely recommend!

Great Experience

The property is in a great location - private but with shops, restaurants, and attractions minutes away. Loved having the creek nearby. Cabin was nice and clean. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property

Really unique, private setting, very relaxing listening to the creek glide past the rocks from the porch, and the house was very cozy. The tire swing and creek even kept our teens entertained, it felt like they were little kids again!

Relaxing time in Black Mt.

We really enjoyed our stay. The daily plan was a long hike, a nice lunch and a brewery. The dogs loved it as much as we did. Did a lot of walking through the property all times of day and night, the stars are great. Really enjoyed and will be back for sure..
