Summary:

Visiting New Orleans and don’t want to stay in the city Or deal with the city traffic? Come check out this beautiful three bedroom house where luxury meets nature. Drink coffee on your porch and enjoy the lake view right out your front door.



The Space:

This is a beautiful brand new build that’s close to it all. Get right on the interstate to New Orleans or bring your own kayak and spend time in the water near the house.



Guest Access:

Each guest will have access to the garage for parking, and the entire house. Before arrival you will be able to download an app to create your own key code access specific to you only. Each code is deleted after check out.



Other Things to Note:

House Rules & Guest Guidelines



Pets: Only approved pets are allowed. Pets must stay off furniture, and all waste must be picked up and properly disposed of outside. Unapproved pets will incur a $100 fee per animal. Any indoor accidents will result in a minimum $250 cleaning fee (or full cleaning cost with receipt).



Parties & Gatherings: No parties or gatherings are allowed. Violations will result in immediate cancellation of your stay without refund.



Guests: Only the number of guests listed on the reservation is allowed. No additional visitors.



Noise & Music: Please keep noise to a minimum. Loud music and disruptive behavior are not allowed.



Smoking & Substances: No indoor smoking of tobacco, vapes, or marijuana. Guests may smoke on the porch only, and all waste must be properly disposed of. Smoking or using illegal substances at the gazebo or benches is strictly prohibited. Please use the porch instead, as the neighbor’s bedroom is directly above and can be disturbed late at night.



BBQ Grills: Grills must be placed at least 10 feet from the house.



Parking: Parking is limited to the driveway and garage. Please do not park in front of neighboring homes.



Check-In/Check-Out: Early check-in and late check-out are available for a fee. Staying past the agreed check-out time will incur the applicable late check-out charge.



Interaction with Guests:

I’m easily reachable throughout your stay. Guests are welcome to call, text, or message me directly through the Airbnb app if you need anything at all. I’m happy to help and want to make sure you have a smooth and comfortable stay.

Literally the perfect place to stay

If I ever come back to Slidell, I will always stay here. It was perfect and a beautiful area. The owner was great to communicate with! Probably the best short term rental I have ever stayed at!

Family Friendly

Perfect getaway to stay outside of the city. Host is very quick to respond. Beautiful home and neighborhood, great little park down the street. Pond out back if great for morning coffee! We will be back!

Wonderful location

Area is very quiet and view of the lake is amazing! Loved having coffee in the morning on the porch. Beds where comfortable and linens where all clean. Lots of space! Only thing I felt was missing was a personalized listing for local restaurants, or things to do. If back in the area would definitely stay here again!

Great place with tranquil view

The house was great. Very cozy and the view over the pond with the birds flying in was so peaceful. Perfect for a family, easy location very convienent to Nola and Slidell. Playgrounds in the neighborhood are awesome too. Host was excellent! Will be back for sure!

Exactly as it appears!

The house was lovely, and the host was very easy to work with. The property was clean, comfortable and the decor was very nice. It was in a great location for everything on our agenda. Getting to watch the ducks in the lake out front while having our morning coffee was an added bonus.

The rental house.

Overall the house was nice and spacious. It fits 5 people comfortably. Nice to stay in for a couple of days. It was presented well. In a nice area that felt safe.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was very clean. We did not receive check in information. I contacted property manager through the app one day prior to our arrival and was told we would receive info the next day. The day of our arrival, I waited until check in time but still no information so I sent a message. I waited about 45 minutes with no response. It was resolved after contacting Vrbo to get the property manager’s info. I was told that they transitioned to an automated software for receiving information but we booked prior to the implementation so this may not be an issue moving forward. Most places we have rented leave a helpful binder of information for local attractions, check in/check out information, and any helpful hints but this did not. Overall the area was quiet and everyone was friendly. If you are on the taller side, the couch and master bed may be an issue as they sit very low to the ground. These are all minor details. I would still give my recommendation if you are looking for a clean peaceful environment.

The Great Escape

This house is well kept and comfortable. Every morning I was able to enjoy the lake and watch wildlife before starting my day. I personally liked the distance from the city, even though it was 30min away, it was an easy trek - all highway. Thank you for sharing your place with us during a memorable time of year - Mardi Gras!

Absolutely Wonderful

Family trip, including my 92-year old mother, and two children in their twenties. Location was beautiful. Lots of ducks and geese. Nice porch to enjoy the lake (and ducks and geese). Three bedrooms, meant everyone had their own bed. Also had use of the two car garage which was a huge plus for us. Had a little trouble gaining access to home when we arrived, but Stephanie was quick to help us get inside. A/C worked great. Plenty of towels and sheets. Great experience. Were extremely happy with the property and being able to be all together in one home. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Advised host 4 days prior to stay that we were concerned about incoming weather. After watching weather channel it was decided that we didn’t want to take a chance . Shared Weather Channel information . Host indicated that she had a strict cancellation policy even after sharing our justification for not arriving. Host didn’t issue any refund even after providing the weather channel information. The four other families also traveling hosts refunded portions of their 1,220 due to information provided and showed some GRACE. She didn’t even want to allow us to reserve monies for future trip. Truly understand cancellation policies, but what happens to common decency when link to weather channel showed justification. There are always extenuating circumstances.

What a great place to stay! We booked it for our family of 8 people for the night after we got off our cruise. Very nice, quiet neighborhood right on a lake. Stephanie the host is awesome! Quick responses to our questions. I would definitely book again when we are in town
