Beach access is super easy by either an elevator or staircase just outside of your door.   When you are not enjoying the sun on the beach or playing in the surf, the Port O Call community offers a large swimming pool complex, or you may choose to play a round of golf at the famous Wild Dunes Links Course or Harbor Course.  In fact, the Links Course is only the distance of a Par Five away from “Captain Jack’s Cabin” making it an easy walk.    Huey’s restaurant and bar are in the Links Proshop, making it a perfect choice if you would like to walk to lunch or dinner.

The Isle of Palms Beach Chair Company will provide your family two classic wooden beach chairs and an umbrella when you stay seven nights (March– October).   These are set up on the beach each morning for your family and removed each night by the crew at IOP Beach Chair Company.

Ideally located, this beach house on the Isle of Palms is an easy drive to Sullivan’s Island, Mount Pleasant and Historic Charleston. Sullivan’s Island (7 miles) features Fort Moultrie and wonderful dining options along Middle Street. In Mount Pleasant (8 miles), your family will want to visit Boone Hall Plantation with its avenue of oaks, the USS Yorktown, Town Center shopping and the restaurants lining the shrimp docks on Shem Creek. Finally, Historic Charleston (17 miles) is the number one tourism destination in the United States and offers some of the world’s finest restaurants, galleries, historic homes and gardens.

Things to note:

Wild Dunes does not have a central resort pool for all visitors. Most neighborhoods and villa communities have their own private pool for guests staying in that specific area. Please note that the pools at the Hyatt Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and the Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved exclusively for Hyatt hotel guests and are not available to vacation rental guests.

The Wild Dunes Community has a strict no pet policy for non-residents.  Pets are not allowed within the gates of the community.
