This one bedroom Grain Bin converted to a tiny home in the heart of the Midwest, has all of the comforts of home! You have the entire bin to yourself, complete with a kitchenette, full bathroom. You will have to be able to climb stairs to get to the main bed, but there is a futon on the main level. The exterior faces the corral where our cattle and horse may sometimes be, and free range chickens that may roam toward you, especially if they think you have food. We may eventually add more animals! The space Our bin is located in a rural setting, the main floor boasts a full bath, kitchenette, and living area with a futon for relaxing or sleeping, the loft or second level is the bedroom with a queen bed and a full-size sleeper sofa. We would have loved to fit the sleeper sofa on the main level but it just wasn’t possible. Wish we had more time than just an overnight stop. Well equipped for a longer stay. Definitely would choose this place again for a long offline weekend.
The Grain Bin Inn was truly fabulous. This conversion from grain bin to tiny home was completed with such beautiful craftsmanship without any sacrifice to comfort or function. Impressive and peaceful. The hosts are also very responsive.
Everything was wonderful! It such a cute place. I have a very bad knee and a hand that works 50% of the time, so the stairs were a little scary for me.

Great stay, unique, very clean—neat converted grain bin.
The Grain Bin Inn is so cute and beautifully crafted! They had some Christmas lights outside which was wonderful! It is on their property with cows and chickens and a rooster which does like to crow early in the morning!
We enjoyed our stay at the grain bin inn barn. Nice peaceful mornings and evenings on the porch watching kittens play and listening to all the sounds of nature. Thank you for a nice getaway.
The host maintained extremely good contact. The green band was fantastic. We had so much fun looking around and seeing how cool the decorations were. We didn’t get to see much in the daylight because of state wrestling. But this morning, the view of the windmill and the old fence so I had my cup of coffee is absolutely fantastic.
The Grain Bin Inn was the perfect spot for my one-night stopover on my road trip. Had everything I needed. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in that part of Kansas again. Thanks!
We loved it! It was a great stop for us as we were visiting Dodge City and Monument Rocks as part of our visit to Kansas on our way home from NM and working on getting all 50 states. We also visited Cuppa Joe in Ness City and it was fabulous too.
The kitchen had plenty of cookware. The renovation of the silo was well done and fun! It was a great stop on our way across Kansas! We are glad we found this place!
Great place to stay, off the beaten path in rural remote Kansas! Very clean & well-stocked bathroom, kitchen. We had a couple of overnight thunderstorms, and it was very cool to watch the lightening via the skylight while in bed. We’ll definitely return!
Great for a unique and simple family game getaway. Everything was as expected and better. Loved being able to cook a meal, watch some shows, and wake up to the roosters. The heated floors are a nice touch. My dog wouldn’t go up the stairs so I slept downstairs while my husband and son slept upstairs, no issues. I will definitely recommend to other Wichitans!
Love staying at the Grain Bin Inn! So clean and perfect spot for quiet...except the cows. Was met at the door (and in the morning) by a lovely host kitty and her kittens. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot, don't need much more than that. Thanks!
This was such a great place to stay as I passed thru Kansas. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was so serene. The "host" cats and their kittens were so cute and friendly and the horses added to the tranquility. It was a treat to see the stars at night too. Hosts were great to communicate with too! Highly recommend!
Despite having a flat tire on our way to our stay, we really enjoyed our stay. More comfortable and nicer than a hotel room, plus super cute! Bonus were the sweet cats and kittens that greeted us and really wanted to come inside. The host was great with communication and even offered and tried to help us with our tire, but we were able to get it changed before they got there. Highly recommend, if you’re traveling through anywhere nearby - it’s worth a detour.
This cute little space was so perfect and relaxing . Perfect for one or a couple . Steep stairs so no elders or handicap.. gotta stay here just for the cute cats!! And your neighbors are four legged and furry.. ideal
It’s a bit off the ways of 70, but it was worth the trip. I was driving from KC back home to CO and wanted to half my drive and found this cute listing. I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable and they used the space so wisely when they remodeled the grain bin. It was also really quiet and chill. I had my dogs with me and they enjoyed the space, too.
