We could not have asked for better place for old girl friends to gather. Everything was clean, beautiful, and cozy! Little touches like phone charges at the bedside in the master bedroom and a well appointed kitchen with excellent cookware and utensils were wonderful! The hosts are very responsive when we had a question! Was very pleased!

This cute and comfy house felt very private and secure. The kitchen had everything we needed, the appliances worked great (especially the washer and dryer), the TV was easy and the beds were comfortable. The hosts also provided clear and easy instructions. Very glad we found this place!

We were in town for our son’s wedding at Yesterday Spaces just a few miles away. The location of this rental was perfect. It was also convenient to the River Arts District. The rental was nicely equipped with the ideal kitchen utensils, pots, pans, a regular coffee maker keurig. The living & bedroom space was awesome for our family’s stay (which included a toddler!). Highly recommend!

We traveled to the Asheville area to help an elderly family member get settled. The cottage was a great place to have a break from all the work during our time there! There were lovely accommodations for all if us (including our young daughter). Gary and Michelle were excellent hosts and made sure to check on us and make sure everything was good.
I definitely recommend staying at this NC cottage!

Thank you Stephen for your wonderful review! So very glad our home provided all you needed for an excellent stay! Hope to see you back soon!
First of all, the hosts were very nice and quick to respond. The house is nicely decorated and spacious. It is on a somewhat main road so the car noise can be loud. Hence, the 4 stars. We didn’t understand the messages about earplugs until after the first night. We were expecting/hoping for nicer views in the back or front too but that wasn’t the case. Asheville downtown was about 15-20 min away which was convenient. The hiking and falls are a little further out. Overall, we enjoyed it.

Thank you Atri for your review! We aim to give everyone a wonderful stay which is why we provide pictures with descriptions and lots of details in the instructions. We are honored that you chose our home to stay while in the Asheville area!
Michelle and Greg were wonderful hosts! The home/listing is just as described, and the road noise is very easy to ignore. My friends and I had absolutely no issues with noise but loved the added sound machines in each room. The kitchen was well stocked for those who like to cook and the home came with plenty of starter supplies, which we certainly appreciated. The one thing we noticed during our trip was that there were several spiders on and around the porches when we arrived / especially at night time, which is to be expected at a remote property in a heavily wooded area. Upon asking the hosts, we were able to knock away all the webs and critters with a broom from inside which did the trick just fine! However, might be nice to include a duster or two for future guests who may run into the same predicament. No critters were found inside the home, and we were very comfortable at this oasis!!

Hi Shannon! Thank you so much for your review! We are delighted you enjoyed your stay! I will order a duster for inside and have sent the handyman over to tackle the spiders outside. I actually may get the termite company to start routinely dealing with bugs in the outdoor areas, as being in the country lends itself to them. I'm happy our cleaners are keeping the inside spotless as that's my pressure point when we stay in other places. We welcome you back any time!
Thank you Tom for your five stars! We truly hope you enjoyed your stay and hope to host you again!

Mountain biking is their favorite thing to do and exploring all the fun things to do in Asheville and the surrounding areas. The Biltmore is always on their list!
Why they chose this property
We chose this area because it feels rural yet is only minutes from town. Once we got used to driving out a little (a whole 15 minutes!), we realized it was super close to Asheville and actually a nice few minutes to decompress when heading home after a long day of hiking, shopping and exploring. We feel very safe here, and the neighbors, even though we are not right on top of each other, are very friendly! We have a few deer and bears from time to time and also visits from turkeys.
What makes this property unique
What we love about our property is that it's new, clean and has everything we want when we travel. The quick heat of the fireplace is great, we love the openness of the home, and it has a split floor plan. We like elbow room from the neighbors and that it feels far removed, yet close to Asheville. And the grocery store is very close, Ingles on Mt. Carmel.
