Great stay! The house was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for our family. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Parking was convenient, and we felt safe during our stay. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay here again!
Convenient location to get to Anacostia Metro station, super easy freeway access too. Had everything we needed to cook breakfast. Really liked the heating/ac units in every room, whole house ventilation system fresh air and exhaust, want to get that for our house now.
Quiet neighborhood, just outside the main gate of JBAB. Yonus was very kind and quick to respond when we had a question. Parking on the street is free and was always avaliable. Absolutely nothing negative to say. Our experience was fabulous!
Great stay, everything just as depicted in listing. I was disappointed we did not have a keurig for coffee. I texted the host and we had a keurig within the hour! The location is very close to DC attractions. The neighborhood was definitely different after dark, but we never felt unsafe. Great family trip! Definitely recommend.
It's good for a place to sleep, but lacks kitchen supplies to cook if you want to. It is a nice short drive to all the museums and capital.

Hi Meagan, I know you and your group had a good time here.
I don’t know what kind of kitchen supplies you were looking for we have everything even if you don’t see what you’re looking you could have asked us since you have our direct number it’s unfortunate to receive 3 star for luck of something you couldn’t see which is already there
3 bedrooms including a master with its own bath. Kitchen with GAS stove. Host communication was spot on and stay was enjoyable. Outdoor patio for coffee in the morning (which thankfully the host had left some on site because I forgot to bring). Utensils, plates, glasses (including disposable). Washer and dryer on site also and works great. Nice tv in the living room with roku and cable television. Very close to everything we went to. Host was very accommodating. Not a palace, but clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend.
We found this property to be perfect for our family of 6. I was initially concerned about a previous reviewer saying there wasn’t enough kitchen supplies and when I asked for a fry pan and a larger pot the owner immediately answered that they were in the stove and under the sink, for which they were. I just hadn’t thought to look there. The property was a quick drive to the museums and the botanical garden we visited. It was super clean and all the beds were comfortable. You can tell the owner really takes care of the place. I know parking can be difficult in DC, but even when we got back to the property late in the evening there was always a spot either right in front of the place or directly across the street. We’d definitely stay there again.
Our host refused to come and help us work the a/c & heat system. The home was extremely cold and uncomfortable. When contacted the host he said I'm out of town and cannot come help you. The host also had a combative attitude making conversations difficult.
This property was a great find for us as we stayed in DC and visited sites around the Mall. It was fairly convenient to get to the Metro train station and bus stops. The neighborhood is a little rougher, but we felt safe throughout the stay, and street parking was always available right in front of the property. The listing shows 2 bed/1 bath, but it is actually 3 bed/2 bath, which was much appreciated for our family of 4 (i.e. both kids had their own bedroom!). The property was large and comfortable enough for our family of 4 to spread out, relax, cook, and prepare for visits to the Mall sites. The unit was well-stocked, including a nice washer/dryer and a full kitchen. The owner was very responsive and helped when needed. One negative was that the upper unit was easy to hear someone walking around in, but we adjusted to it. Definitely would recommend this to someone else.
The unit was very clean. It was great for us. We was only in the unit for a long period of time on the first night. It has everything you need. Not luxurious in regard to decor but has every thing you need. In unit washer and dryer. Two full bathrooms. Extra soap. Communication was awesome. Even when I screwed up, he communicated and was kind. I had family visit my first day. Had no clue we couldn't have more than 6 people in the unit at once. He contacted me (the building is full of security cameras) and notified me that they were fine to be there that night but we had to limit visitors to max six. He was cool about it as my family came over and cooked us dinner. Upon entry to the unit there were mosquitoes and gnats in the unit. The forrest is right there. Parking was awesome. Expressway was a minute away. A lot of the places we were visiting like downtown and DuPont etc were 15-25 min away depending on traffic. The later we left or arrived back the shorter the time frame. But I feel like the location just depends on what you want to be close to. There were restaurants and attractions near that made the location super sweet. And then other times we had to be in traffic. It happens. I would say since it rained, the entry pavement was rather slippery. i can imagine in snow and ice that will be an issue. Be careful going up and down the stairs. Overall its a solid unit.
