Beautiful stay on the water

Truly a wonderful experience and my favorite VRBO I’ve ever stayed at! Can’t say enough good things about this place and all the great memories made with family - from hanging out in the deck and around the fire pit, to playing pool, to watching boats go by through the amazing lake view windows, it was a truly magical experience. Everything was clean and comfy, and we had a blast using the pool table! Also great location for walking and exploring the area. Thanks for an amazing time, already counting down til next time - can’t recommend enough!

Great Living Space

We’ve stayed at this house before and have always enjoyed it. Plenty of room for 4 adults and a baby, a very well stocked kitchen, and a gorgeous view. Walkable to everything we need. Check-in and out was easy and the house was well-stocked with supplies. The internet connection was spotty, so maybe not the place to work remotely. But otherwise- perfect

This cabin is awesome. The hosts communicated very well and stayed away. The kitchen and games cabinet are well-stocked. I noticed the heating system is very new and efficient, but still we made a fire a few times in the wood burning stove for ambience. The location and view are very beautiful and convenient walking to downtown.

Perfect location in the Les Cheneaux Islands

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the lakefront cabin hosted by Laura and Michael Prince. Inside and out the unit was clean and comfortable with a wonderful view of the channel. Great for a family holiday. Restaurants in Cedarville are a 5 minute walk. There are many attractions within minutes drive: sandy beaches for swimming and kayaking, hiking trails (Bush bay Trail aka Narnia trail) a must, fine dining in Hessel’s Les Cheneaux Culinary School, and Soo Locks 30 minute drive just to name a few. We hope to be back the Les Cheneaux Islands in the future and will definitely stay with Laura and Micheal’s lakefront cabin.

My father-in-law built this vacation home in 1984 and it has been used by the family year round ever since.

We recently moved out of state to Florida for work and so we aren't able to use the house as much as we'd like to. So we decided to open up the house for vacation rentals.
The house is of great sentimental value to us and we hope you enjoy staying there as much as we do.

Our house is clean and cozy. It has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.
You can explore Les Cheneaux and all it's secluded bays and beaches. One of our favorites is Government Island bay where the beach is sandy and the water is crystal clear, perfect for swimming.

After a day of exploring, you can grill out on the deck, relax & then later enjoy the firepit and toast some s'mores. Enjoy the clear night sky and look for shooting stars.

The property is located within minutes walk to downtown Cedarville with all it's amenities but positioned in a large, peaceful lot on the lake with great views.
The location is ideal for drives out to St.Ignace, Soo Locks, Tahquamenon Falls and the boat to Drummond Island.

It really is the perfect getaway. We love it and hope you do too!
