Thank you very much for writing a review. It is through our renter’s comments that we are able to adjust and provide a superior renter experience. As soon as we read your comments on the a/c we sent out a tech who fixed the problem the same day. We only wish you had alerted us during your stay and we would have corrected your discomfort immediately. I sent your group a message your first or second day asking how things were going, and to let me know if you had any questions, but I did not hear from you. We have a gorgeous Infiniti pool. In over 10 years of rentals yours is the first negative comment as to the 5 minute walk. There are two ways to walk down. The one you mentioned with about 10 steep steps and the other takes the same time but is on the internal very few cars paved road with no steps. We, and most of our renters have considered the 10-15 minute walk down to West Bay Beach a positive rather than a negative. We are close enough to the restaurants, dive shops, and stores, but far enough away that we offer a very peaceful tranquil experience. Most of the time when you go down to our pool you will be the only people there. Half of our renters rent a car as they want to be able to explore the island. Those that don’t usually combine walking and taking the readily available inexpensive taxis. Again, thank you for renting from us. We hope you will return to the beautiful island of Roatan!

Happy you enjoyed your stay. Sorry about the dryer and ice maker. Our property manager had not told us. We are on island right now and both items are fixed. We always repair items as soon as we know a problem exists. We hope that you return to beautiful Roatan soon!

Thanks for your review. We, as well, love our home's location: close to the action but far enough to be peaceful. Most of the time we have our huge pool to ourselves and feel like we have our own private resort. Peggy is the BEST property manager. Everyone loves her and she goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect. She knows the island well and makes great recommendations. Our home has a very romantic setting with the beautiful view and intimate gorgeous beach/infiniti pool. Perfect for a honeymoon!!!

Thanks for your nice comments. We love these 2 aspects of our home, as well: great location plus the unique infinity pool which we consider the most beautiful on the island. And the best part is you almost always have the pool without anyone else there!
