Beautiful Condo in West End

The condo was absolutely perfect for our family of 5 adults. The kitchen was well stocked. I can’t say enough about the place. We will definitely be back.

Great location to access West End area and West Bay beach via water taxi. Great support from on-site and office staff. Nice feature to have kayaks to snorkel reef directly in front of unit.

Awesome location

Easy check in process. Good professional management. The location is perfect, close to west end but still feels private. Kayaks, pool, dock and beach are all as advertised. Would love to return soon.

Great Condo, Great Location

Eldin was always very friendly and helpful. Condo was very nice, loved the location. The only drawback was for the first day of our visit, there was a group of 35 people occupying only five units and the pool deck was incredibly crowded. After they left, everything was wonderful.

Property was gorgeous and well maintained

We made a good choice with this condo. It was well furnished and had everything promised and needed. Steps to a beautiful beach with water as clear as you can get. The night time security guard was a comforting feeling. Easy to locate via our rental car, walking distance to town and water taxis. The staff at Roatan Life Vacations was great! Great communication, helpful with excursions, directions and suggestions. Couldn't have asked for a better trip.

Hard to beat

We have stayed here multiple times. Location and accommodations are hard to beat. You can have the excitement of West End but come back to a quiet and a feeling of seclusion. Unit had everything you need. Pool is right out the door. West End is a short walk down the beach. If you want to go to West Bay, you can either walk or go to the end of the dock and wave down a water taxi. Host company is very responsive and can take care of any request you have. Already planning our next trip

Close to town but nice and quiet!

We loved the proximity to town and walked back and forth several times during our stay. No complaints about the accommodations! We really loved being in the first floor so that we could walk out directly to the beach and pool. If you are considering between villa 1 or 2, villa 1 has a door keypad that you can use instead of walking around if you are going out to the beach- not a major inconvenience but worth noting. The use of kayaks was a huge plus for us as we were able to go to all the snorkel sights that are right off the shore, but a dedicated swim distance. We will definitely return and will absolutely stay here again. We had to stay in half moon bay on the last night due to a flight change and it was way to busy for us- this place is the best of both worlds!

So close to entertainment, food, and snorkeling!

I stayed here with my wife and our friends (another couple). The room was great for the four of us, plenty of space and privacy for everyone. Being on the first floor was fantastic - great views and you just walk out to the pool, beach and dock. We could walk to west end in minutes. We walked to west bay a couple of time - took about an hour or so to get to the wall. We took water taxis back - $5 each person and they drop you off at the dock! We were talking about some of our all-inclusive vacations we have done in the past, but we all agreed this was the better experience! And it all starts with a comfy and safe condo to call home during the trip. Roatan Vacation Rentals makes it easy to get to and from the condo and were very helpful from start to finish! I highly recommend them and Villas Del Playa #2!

Great condo and location

This condo is great for families - 1 master with king and ensuite, guest room has 2 beds that can be pushed together and also a ensuite. Living room had a pull out sofa that was perfect for our 9 year old twins but large enough for adults. The beach is great - free of seaweed, the water is crystal clear and the pier is great to swim off of and to hail water taxis. The water is sandy for the first 15 feet then its a seagrass bottom - you can swim over it and float out by the pier if you dont like the feel on your feet but its secure to the ocean floor keeping the beach clean and great swimming - i wouldnt let this this detour me from booking again (we will by the way!). Location is perfect! Safe easy 5 minute walk to west end and 3 minute water taxi ride to west bay from the pier out front. Pool was clean and bottom floor patio access was fantastic. New 65" smart TV was installed while we were there so log in to netflix at night to wind down if you like.

Wonderful week at this property

Two moms and three high school senior girls in our group... we spent a week here and it was perfect. The interior and exterior were both beautifully done. The paddle boards and pool were used daily, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the view was gorgeous. The hot water and shower pressure were a little lacking but we were enjoying ourselves so much it wasn't a big deal. We walked into town for many meals, the moms enjoyed Tita's a few times and loved her! The water taxi pickup was very convenient and we enjoyed exploringand snorkelingat West Bay. We had Mayan Jungle pick us up for a zipline and animal encounter. Enjoyed live music at Brisas, Luna Beach and Sundowners. C Level pizza had gluten free crust ready especially for us as we had one member who is gluten intolerant. Can't forget the maintenance man who kept things looking so nice and was helpful with paddle boards, luggage, etc., and 'securidad', whom the girls enjoyed trying to communicate with despite the language differences. They even baked him a cookie and left him a note when we left. We had a very memorable and relaxing time at Villas Del Playa #2!

Beauty and Tranquility

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo. The view and sound of the ocean was heaven! It felt so quiet, in comparison, at our house when we returned home. We truly continue to miss the relaxing sound of the ocean. We really loved being able to walk out from the condo to the pool and ocean. The condo was also decorated with peaceful white/natural tones, which only added to the overall feel of complete relaxation. The owners/managers were also a great strength of this property. They were very responsive, offered assistance with setting up activities (although we didn't use the concierge it was a great option to have), and kept the pool and beach clean everyday. There was also a night guard for added security, which I hadn't expected but felt it was a nice addition. Things to consider: We had a truck which made navigating the road in very helpful. We also tended to walk along the beach (easy 10-15 minute walk) to get into town because parking is very limited. The pool is small but we knew that when booking the property and liked it for our young kids. The white decor made me slightly nervous having young kids, but it was so comfortable that it didn't matter and our kids aren't super messy. No real complaints. Happy memories were created on this trip and the time spent at this condo was our highlight!!

Amazing property on an amazing island

Condo was so nice. Well made concrete building (can't hear the neighbors) that was very well furnished. The condo was a great size, with very nice comfortable furniture. The king sized bed in the master bed room was very comfortable. Nice TVs with bluray player. Very nice patio with a breath taking view with a nice hard wood table to enjoy the breeze and breakfast and view. The grounds were clean, the maintenance man, Eldin, was very helpful and spoke pretty good English. The most under talked about aspect of the condo was the how UNBELIEVABLY good the snorkeling was right in front of the condo, a spot called Blue Channel, literally one of the best spots on the island and it is right out front. The kitchen was first class, very nice refrigerator (with an ice maker, which is a must for mixed drinks), the range, microwave, and dishwasher were all very good quality newer models that worked great. The kitchen was also really well stocked as far as glasses, plates, pots, tools etc. The AC was nice and cold and the internet was surprisingly fast. The location of the condo was perfect, a very short walk to all the shops/resturants/bars, but on the west edge of West End, so very little foot traffic in front of the condo, and pretty much never even hear a car. Also the sunsets were drop dead perfect. Everyone was very helpful, informative, and nice. The only complaint that we had, was that we could not stay longer. Recommendations: Restaurant Oasis (all the food), The Thai Place (lobster PadThai), Vintage Pearls (its at Bananarama and the Sunday Brunch is awesome), Ziplining in the jungle, Snorkeling (get someone to take you to some of the shipwrecks), Chestnuts Gourmet Coffee (very good locally grown and roasted).

Perfect location

We had a wonderful time at Villas Del Playa! Location is absolutely perfect in West End, beach was great and we loved using the paddle board and kayaks! You can kayak out to the channel and have awesome snorkeling! Such a fantastic stay, we will absolutely be back!

We absolutely loved staying at Villa de Playa. The condo is beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. We spent lots of time in the pool gazing out at the ocean. The location is perfect as it's at the far end of West End, so it's pretty private but you can walk to everywhere.... And West end is the best .. within a few days you know so many of the people .. the food is great and it's just an amazing place. I would highly recommend Villa de Playa ... I know I'll be back another day and I'm pretty sure that the friends I brought with me will be back also.

Good location on water

Property was clean and and beds were comfortable. There was a musty smell that went away after using air conditioner for a few days to dry out. Hot water heater wasn’t big enough to fill hot tub in master bath. Appliances were good and cookware adequate for making meals. Furniture was fairly updated and comfortable. None of the closet doors shut completely and some drawers would fall out if pulled out all the way. Shower door handle fell off the first day. Property was good with small pool and right on ocean with a dock, paddle boards and kayaks which were great to use. Could kayak out a way an to buoys to snorkel closer to reef which was nice. Francisco was great on answering questions, helping out finding local restaurants, car rentals, etc. Answered any questions about the island we had and very friendly. Location was great close to West End village for shopping, eating and small markets. Lots of scuba shops, fishing and excursions available nearby yet away from the busy village area which was a 10min walk away. Some of the other condos in building had better locking features with front sliding door vs a stick in door and lock which you had to go around the building when you returned to unlock each time you returned. I liked the ground floor but would probably see if the other condo was available if we come back and chose to stay here again.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our 10 week stay here at Villas del Playa #2. This is a good location for beach and fantastic sunsets! The village of West End is within easy walking distance for fresh produce and pretty much anything we needed. The condo is well furbished so it was home away from home for us. The management group, Liz and Jimmie especially kept in touch with great communication for any inquiries we had. Fransico, the maintenance man, and Miguel, our night watchman, were always around to help and felt like family. Thanks to the owner who also took an interest to make sure we were looked after. Highly recommend this accommodation. Denise and Gord from Canada

FIRST TIME TO ROATAN

My wife and I had a great time for our first proper trip to Roatan. The location of Villas Del Playa was perfect, five minutes to West End and a quick water taxi to West Bay. Our only complaint was one week went by way to quick..... :)

Gem in West End

This was a great condo! It's a15 minute walk to the heart of West End (part beach, part road). It was clean, comfortable and Roatan Vacation Rentals could not have been more helpful. We loved being poolside and the water view was amazing. I would stay here again.

We had a great experience at this property. I really enjoyed being far enough away from the "city" to be quiet and close enough to walk. The beds were comfortable, the linens were of good quality and the kitchen was modern and equipped with all the appliances we needed.

Beautiful Sunsets

Beautiful, quiet and recommend. My husband and I spent a week here and enjoyed every minute. The grounds were kept clean, there was security at the property every night and the sunsets were beautiful!! The house was very nice and we would absolutely go back.

Easy check-in, helpful groundskeeper on site. We enjoyed lounging in the pool, meeting the neighbors, and especially enjoyed our time in the West End, Roatan. Had a great trip, with bars/food/diving only steps away.
