This lake house was perfect. Great access, center of the lake, beautiful property. It had it all to make a family getaway and birthday celebration spectacular.

We’ve rented a lot of vacation homes and this one ranks in the top for cleanliness, amenities, ease of check in, etc. we stayed here for our daughter’s graduation from VT and would highly recommend it to others looking to do the same. It was easy access to Blacksburg but away from the busyness. Plus there’s so much to do on property. My family really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect family house on the lake! Our kids spent countless hours fishing and jumping into the water for a swim. The dock and deck space was amazing! The hosts kept us informed without being overbearing. We will definitely be renting this property again!

This was a beautiful, clean, newly renovated lake house and our family enjoyed every minute of our stay. The host was extremely responsive and recommended restaurants for us that we enjoyed. The fall leaves were in HOKIE colors and the walks we took were beautiful. A very relaxing and fun stay for our family

Fantastic place to stay during New Cadet Week in August! The property is stunning, the house is comfortable, super clean and well-stocked, and the location was perfect--an easy drive to Blacksburg for VT, adjacent to Claytor Lake State Park for hiking and public boat access, and a great home base for visits to Roanoke, Lexington, National D-Day Memorial, etc. Plus tons to do on the property itself, including fishing, boating, great swims in the clean lake, a fully-prepared fire pit, and beautiful sunsets viewed from any one of several lakeside decks. Tim and Melissa are wonderful hosts who gave great recommendations for groceries, restaurants, and boat rentals nearby. This one is a gem. We'll definitely be back!

This house was very nice! It was great to have the boathouse with a restroom and refrigerator in it so you don’t have to go up and down the steps all day! Tim was very responsive and the house had everything we needed. Definitely recommend!
