The Space:

Nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, a Wintergreen Resort property, you’ll be surrounded by beauty while you enjoy your stay in our cozy home packed with amenities and 2 minutes to the slopes! Don’t worry with packing towels or linens, we provide! Depending on the season, enjoy s’mores over the outdoor wood burning fire pit! Enjoy visiting the local restaurants, wineries, golf and breweries. You will be a short drive from hiking Crabtree Falls, The Blue Ridge Parkway, and Humpback Rock.



This updated home with high end furnishings is sure to give you the reprieve you need! Everything is easy at Adventure Awaits – – from the oversized, private and level parking area in front of the home, the enjoyment of two family living areas with sectional seating, five smart TVs, quality high-speed Internet with private home office space, three separate outdoor living areas, and two of four bedrooms located on the entry level of the home, you will truly live comfortably in this like new, custom built home.



The two story great room with on-trend, wood ceiling will create that mountain getaway vibe for which you’ve been yearning! It’s not all adventure, you will sleep like a baby on the brand new, super comfortable mattresses! With a master suite on both the main and upper level of the home and the bonus of three king beds plus a room of bunks, there is plenty of space for a few families to enjoy!

"Adventure Awaits" is a pet-friendly home that welcomes up to two dogs. Please contact the host for details regarding the pet fee and guidelines. Guests must agree to the pet rules and pay the applicable fee prior to bringing their furry friends.



Hiking trails will be at your doorstep and you will love the convenience of being less than one mile (2 minute drive) to the slopes! A fan favorite, Devil’s Backbone Brewing Co, is a quick 12 minute drive from our home. Looking for “me time” or a girls’ weekend? Relax and rejuvenate at The Spa at Wintergreen or indulge in a wine tour at nearby wineries nestled in The Blue Ridge.

WATER ACTIVITIES: While the resort’s pools are reserved for members only, this property has access to the HOA pools at Chestnut Springs on the mountain (94 Timber Camp Dr) and Rodes Farm in the valley (Stoney Creek). These pools operate from the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Unaccompanied guests of property owners may use the pools from 2 pm until 6 pm daily. With a guest pass, six guests can access the pool. The limit on people using WPOA pools per property is six. In addition to the pools, there are two fresh water lakes with swimming nearby. Lake Monocan, a 20-acre lake and park operated by the resort that is located at 239 Camping Ridge Lane in Stoney Creek. There is a fee per person to enter and it is closed to the public on Saturdays. Sherando Lake Recreation Area is also nearby. Known locally as the jewel of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Families enjoy picnicking in this shaded and woody area, while relaxing on the sandy beach of a 25-acre spring-fed lake. Access to multiple trailheads and rustic architecture provide numerous points of interest for families to enjoy. $8 per vehicle up to 8 passenger capacity for day use.



Currently, due to a new policy of Wintergreen resort, unaccompanied guests (renters) are not allowed access to the gym, indoor pools or Devils Knob golf course.



Damage & Rule Violation Policy

Guests are responsible for any damages that occur inside or outside the property during their stay. If damages are found or if house rules are violated, you will be charged accordingly.
