The house is in an exclusive gated community that sits atop Mount Riante, one of the tallest mountains in Garland County at 1300 Feet. It is nestled above Lake Hamilton and we would bet our hot tub that it is the absolute best view in Hot Springs. The property’s location on Central Avenue makes it a straight shot to the lake, Oaklawn casino, and Hot Springs National Park. We are very close to Garvan Woodland Gardens, (highly recommend!) and there are also 2 marinas 5 miles away.

There are endless things to do a short drive from your serene and quiet stay at our modern mountain home. You can learn much more about the area and it’s history in our guide book. The Space:
Our beautiful retreat is nestled in an exclusive gated community tucked into the summit of Mount Riante. At 1,300 ft., Mt. Riante, one of the highest mountains in Garland County, offers stunning views of the entire Ouachita Valley, Lake Hamilton, Oaklawn Racetrack, Garvan Gardens and Hot Springs National Park. This scenic wonderland is just minutes from Hot Springs. Fabulous views can be seen from every room in the property as well as from the two levels of exterior decks and the hot tub outside.

Though it is an exclusive mountain community with great privacy, our neighborhood is right off Central Avenue, the main road that goes by Lake Hamilton, Oaklawn Casino and into Hot Springs National Park. We are close to everything! Scroll to the bottom to see mileage from the home to various locations. There are endless things to do only a short drive from your serene and quiet stay at our modern mountain home. The road up the mountain is a short, paved road that is steep and has two switchbacks before reaching our side road. If you are towing something, please make sure your vehicle can handle the incline. On very rare occasions extreme winter conditions can make the road impassible. Please contact us if you suspect this might interfere with your booking. Thank you!

As you wind up the short but steep drive to the entrance, you’ll be touched by the natural serenity of the area. There is parking for six cars and also a trailer or boat. NO parking on the street please.

Stepping through the front entrance, you’ll be struck by the uncluttered and thoughtfully curated two story sanctuary which boasts two viewing decks, three bedrooms and an overstocked kitchen, plus two open living spaces with wall-to-wall windows providing views of the majestic Ouachita Valley and Lake Hamilton from each room.

The spacious kitchen is provided with stainless steel built-in appliances, large pressure cooker/air fryer, blender, waffle maker, lovely dishware, cookware, appliances, plenty of cabinets, and all the extras the chef in your family will need for preparing those scrumptious meals. Cooking is a dream in this kitchen!

For the serious coffee connoisseurs in your family, we provide an awesome coffee bar, with Keurig Duo for single serving or pot of coffee, plus a fully stocked expresso bar with high quality coffees from around the world, coffee bean grinder and all the fixin’s.


There are dining tables both inside and outside, plus plenty of kitchen counter bar stools.
Al fresco dining and lounging is available just outside the kitchen door on the main level deck.

The main level features one bedroom with full bath and purple memory foam mattress for a perfect night’s sleep. The beds throughout the house have purple memory foam mattresses and are made up with luxury linens that guarantee a cozy feeling when you get into bed after a full day of fun at our local attractions! There is a convenient half bath near the kitchen area.

The living spaces display the works of artisans inspired by the beauty of the region. These touches complement the contemporary décor with hints of mid-century style. Cool colors with splashes of warmth enhance each room. The living room features an eye-catching, selfie-worthy accent wall you’ll love!

Heading upstairs to the upper level, you will find two additional bedrooms, both with full bathrooms, plus an upstairs bonus lounge with two extra-large bunk beds located in a nook on one side. These bunks sleep an additional four people. There is space to comfortably accommodate ten people or eleven if someone sleeps on the comfortable sectional sofa in the living area. Every bedroom has its own high definition 4K smart TV with Roku.

NOW let’s check out the outdoor relaxation options…The two levels of outdoor decks are equipped with comfortable sectionals, plenty of outdoor dining options and a yoga mat and block. The downstairs patio is equipped with a stainless steel grill with propane provided. Binoculars are provided for viewing the stunning Lake Hamilton and surrounding areas. We have provided plenty of fun board games for your family to enjoy.

The hot tub is a hit which everyone can enjoy. We have a professional team clean it after every guest. We also have a large stone firepit with five Adirondack chairs. If you would like to have a fire, we do provide firewood for those cozy nights of sitting around the campfire making smores! The closest grocery store ,Harp's, is 2.6 miles away. Guests will have complete access to the entire 1-acre mountainside property.

To accommodate guests with all different types of sensitivities, we have tried to create an allergen-free environment. This means there are no feathers, down or carpeting in our home. We have installed an I-wave R ionizer to protect the air from mold, bacteria, viruses and odors. For this reason and the fact that we are on a rocky, unfenced mountainside, this property is not suitable for pets.

Other things to note:
For those with infants, we do provide a pack-n-play, high chair and a potty seat as well as outlet protectors which are located in the primary bedroom’s walk-in closet.



Your safety matters to us. The property features a Nest Doorbell device with an exterior security camera facing the front outdoor entry. This is the only camera. The camera does not look into any interior spaces. The camera actively records video when motion is detected by the device or when the video doorbell button is pressed.

Other Things to Note:
There is a kitchen, living room, bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms on the first floor. There is also the hot tub, grill and fire-pit.

Keep in mind that two of the three bedrooms, the second living room with XL bunks and the top deck must be accessed by stairs which may be difficult for guests with limited mobility.

It is a short but steep winding drive that gets you to the house and its glorious views. If you are towing something and you have concerns please contact us before arrival. Hot Springs does have rare winter storms. If Mount Riante gets enough ice and snow you could become stuck at the house for a short amount of time. Please check the weather before your stay, feel free to contact us if you are concerned and plan accordingly.

There is a well-sized fire pit with 5 adirondack chairs. If you would like to have a fire, you are responsible for purchasing your own firewood and kindling prior to arrival. They sell bundles at Harps Grocery five minutes (2.6 miles) away.

Interaction with Guests:
I am here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction depends on you! We'd like to give you your space (about a valley worth)! We are only a phone call or message away. You'll be able to self check-in upon arrival.
