Historic Jackson Ward Home - Bright Basement Unit
Beautiful historic home in the Jackson Ward neighborhood of Richmond. Built in 1820 & is one of the oldest homes in JW that illustrates the typical Federal style dwellings. Recently renovated, decorated with mid-century modern furnishings on a safe, low-traffic, private street. Renters will enjoy the entire basement unit/backyard garden. House is 2min. from I-95 & VCU campus. 5min walk from coffee shops, Saison Market, Common House, & bars. No car required. Short ride to Carytown & VMFA.
The space
Built in 1820 with an addition in 1836, the basement has full windows to maximize the capture of natural light/incoming sun, while also positioned to promote privacy. It’s a fun space, great for relaxing inside between lounge seating and the workspace or enjoying time outside in the backyard. Patio seating and outdoor dining table is available through the back entrance. If you’re looking for a quiet home but close proximity to Richmond happenings, this is for you. Enjoy!
