An incredible home and location. We had an extraordinary stay and Clyde is a fabulous host, taking the time before and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed.

Thanks Andrea, kind words. We got back late because of that storm and finally made it to Tremblant where the weather has is now very cold. Thanks for taking good care of our home and remember the other seasons are great here too! Glad you enjoyed it, Regards, Clyde
This property was outstanding. We loved the grandeur of the place with its high ceiling and beautiful furnishings. The lake was serene and so inviting. The proximity to Mont Tremblant made it a very convenient place to call home for our stay in the area. Highly recommend this property.

Thanks Bonnie. Thanks for taking good care. I could hardly tell you were here!
Beautiful setting and beautiful chalet! This Chalet was the perfect place for our family to enjoy the Tremblant area away from the crowd of Mt. Tremblant but close enough to have a quick drive to the town & mountain.
We had a great stay. The house was beautiful with plenty of space and all the comforts of home. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Clyde was a very helpful, sharing all the details of the house and surrounding area. Strongly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing lake or mountain getaway!

Thanks Chris. Appreciate your rating. If you have a sec try search our home using the vrbo search/filtering. I noticed they have reduced our visibility, in fact I cant find it at all.
We had a wonderful stay, everything is just as described and communication with owner seamless. This chalet is well appointed with all that you will need to enjoy your stay and the location is peaceful yet still a short drive away from nearby attractions. Highly recommended!

Reallyy great guests. Please come back. Most of our guests are returns and we really hope you guys return.
The property is lovely and well situated to three villages including the mountain village, St. Jovite and Old Mont Tremblant. Lot's to do - even in the middle of COVID. Skied, sledded, ice skated, sleigh ride. Good restaurants while they were open .Looks like it would be very nice in warm weather too as it is on the lake and near golf. Great for group of four or more.

Maria and Family were great guests particularly considering the many challenges of C19.
This property is perfectly located next to a lake with private access and dock. The cottage is bright, beautifully decorated and well maintained by the owner. The views from the main floor are stunning and there is an abundance of light. The layout is perfect for a large family or multiple families with every amenity one could think of (pool table, sauna, fast WiFi, BBQ, hot tub, etc.). The cottage is very clean and is a 5 minute drive to St. Jovite town (Metro and specialty groceries, SAQ, etc.). There is a canoe, two kayaks and a paddleboard to keep you busy on the water. At night, it is quiet and very tranquil. The owner was extremely helpful, flexible and accessible and offered to pay for additional expenses to keep our family comfortable! There is a reason this property always gets a perfect 10/10 rating. You will have to see it in person as the pictures do not do it justice! Do yourself a favor and don't bother looking at other properties. Book this one and you won't regret i! We will definitely be coming back to this cottage :-) A big thank you to the owner for a memorable getaway.

We always get great reviews but this one is one of the best. It matched the very excellant treatment, cleanliness and respect this family had for our home! Most people return and I hope that is the case with Huy.

amazing place-highly recommend, you'll love it!!
Stunning house, nicer than the pictures!! VERY clean! Very accommodating owner, easy and a pleasure to deal with!! Beautiful location, right on the lake and quiet neighbourhood. Could not have asked for better! Highly recommend!!
The place was great but what pissed me off was VRBO!!! I was asked to pay the reaming amount on the day I was checking in, when I tried to pay online with my credit card their system refused my payment. I called my bank institute and spent a good 40 mins with them and they assured me nothing was wrong with my card to call VRBO. VRBO seemed to be helpful till the assistant on the phone said that he would have to send an email to his technical team and he would get a response in 24hrs ( 3 days later still haven't hear from them) I told him I was checking into the place in a couple of hours and we needed to fix this NOW! He said to call the owner and deal directly with him (basically it's my problem and good luck) I told him I did not feel comfortable doing this but he said he could not help me. I can't understand why VRBO could not call the owner themselves to explain the situation. I had a group of 7 people coming from all over for the weekend. The last thing I wanted was to have problems checking in. Fortunately the owner is amazing and everything worked out. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH VRBO. I'VE USED THEM FOR MANY YEARS AND THEY LET ME DOWN WHEN I REALLY NEEDED THEIR ASSISTANTS!! Hope VRBO doesn't delete this review, because this time it's a review on YOU and people need to read it just like you encourage us to write on the owners sometimes you should be asking about our experience with VRBO

Sue and company were great. It doesn't get any better for a home owner than getting a rental from such a class group of people. However, Homeaway/VRBO were a joke (as in Sue's comments) with their rules about trying to get people to book while not allowing owners and seekers to properly communicate requirements, all the while using their wacky Expedia hotel rental system which doesn't work when you are renting million dollar homes. Over the last 2 months I have lost over 5 opportunities because of their onerous system; I am not happy and I know there are a lot of seekers out there who feel the same way. For anyone who wants a great home communicate with me directly. My phone is ;sixonethreeseventwoninesixninefiveseven. And my email is clyde(dot)marston(at)rogers(dot)com). Sorry for the code and I doubt they will post it.
We had an amazing March break here: the house was impeccably clean, very bright and well decorated, and incredibly spacious and comfortable with lots of room for our family of 6.
The location, close to Mont Tremblant and Mont Blanc, was perfect for skiing. The lake was great for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing and the hot tub was divine at the end of the day. Clyde was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with and made us feel very welcome. We are hoping to be able to go back because this was definitely one of the best chalets we've ever rented. Highly recommend!!!

OK. thanks, Mila and you guys were pretty much perfect. Although this is Chalet Marston on Lac dufour not chalet on villa des bois.
Superb lake-side cottage with full amenities - I highly recommend it.
Our family (4 people) stayed at this lake-side cottage during the 2020 holidays to enjoy ski at Tremblant (a short drive away). Superb house, very spacious, well decorated, with a nice combination of rustic décor and all modern amenities. The house is built on four floors, with 3 of them offering views of the lake and secluded surroundings (we can even see Tremblant’s ski slopes from the top floor). The house is very well appointed – I can’t think of anything that was missing during our week-long stay. We particularly enjoyed the fireplaces, hot tub and the pool table. Many of the restaurants from the town of Tremblant also deliver to the cottage. The hosts (Clyde and Renee) were very responsive, and easy to reach before and during our stay. I would highly recommend staying at this cottage, if it is available (our brief experience pre-booking – during the pandemic – is that this house is in high demand). Enjoy!

T!he Marston Chalet was amazing
The chalet is a beautiful, comfortable, open concept structure with a view of the peak of Mt. Tremblant and private views of nature all around through the maximum windows. Parking is very convenient right at the front door.
It is spacious, clean, classy, and artfully eclectic. There is a large balcony off the sunroom, a patio with hot tub and barbeque below and a path meandering down to the dock on the lake. The bedrooms are either up or down a level and well stocked with linen and towels. There is a home theater on the lower level and a games room, sauna and shower below. The well appointed and well stocked kitchen opens into a dining area that seats twelve. The place is immaculately cleaned an maintained.
The owner is always just a phone call away.
My husband and I along with friends and family have stayed at this chalet in summer, fall, and winter. It is close to shopping, restaurants, golf, and hiking.
Morning coffee on the dock is a must!
This winter we skied and spent our evenings in the hot tub and around the dining table and fireplaces.

Excellent Chalet!
This past weekend, I stayed at this chalet with a group of 10 friends and we absolutely loved our stay!
I have been organizing annual Tremblant trips for over a decade with these friends and I normally use a different chalet provider, but I decided to try something new this year and was glad I did. Clyde was flexible, responsive, and easy to deal with.
The description of the chalet is accurate. It was clean, well-kept and the amenities listed were provided to our satisfaction. The kitchen was well stocked, towels and linens were plentiful and soft, wifi worked great, the hot tub was HOT (we've had a couple instances in the past where the hot tub was not hot enough), fireplaces were great for some extra heat and the beds were comfortable.
The chalet location, although was close to the highway, you do need to drive up some steep dirt roads, so winter tires and all-wheel drive vehicles are a must to get here safely in the winter. We saw a minivan struggle to climb the first hill even though it didn't snow this weekend.
Also, the chalet is about a 15 minute drive to Mont-Tremblant.
The only item we wished was different was the fact that tap water was not drinkable, however, Clyde did tell me this in advance so we were able to buy jugs of water from the nearby IGA beforehand.
Thanks Clyde for a wonderful stay!

J and crew are the kind of quests anyone renting their country home would want...smart, clean and honest. I hope they come back. I do have a lot of guests returning. For clarification you can drink the water but I advise against it because it is not treated. I provide drinking water and I was surprised to see J didn't use it. Regarding the location, we are on a mountain on a beautiful spring fed lake at a higher altitude about a mile from the 117/Ryan intersection. The road is paved (not gravel) to the door and the driveway is cobblestone (although you would not know it in winter). I have never been stuck in15 years and I use all season tires, The municipality is rigid about keeping roads clear because most of the people on the lake live there. Regarding the trip from the chalet to the mountain, it can be slower if there is a lot of traffic but its normally in the 8-14 minutes range. I ski a lot and I am usually on the lift from the chalet within 15 minutes. Thanks, Clyde. PS this chalet is great in the winter but its gorgeous in the spring summer and fall.

Absolutely fabulous vacation - highly recommended
My family stayed at this place for ten nights. We have truly enjoyed every hour of our stay and had rather hard time leaving. As beautiful as they are, the pictures and the property description still do not convey enough how exceptional this property and its location are. Our biggest problem was to decide what to do first, swimming in the lake, fishing, biking (bike trails are just minutes away), hiking, walking, or relaxing in the sauna and hot tub. Fine dining while enjoying great views, or browsing through music and movie collection. This property has all that you may wish for. Only minutes to shopping and several small towns. Will definitely visit again.

Luxury on the Lake
Our family loved this beautiful lake-front home! We were greeted by the owner upon our arrival and he was extremely gracious and helpful throughout the booking and stay. The house was pristine and everything was well- maintained. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very well appointed. The place was spacious but charming and very comfortable. We did quite a bit of cooking in the kitchen and it was easy to navigate and well-equipped. High-end grocery shopping close by made cooking meals a breeze. We loved fishing and kayaking right from our own dock -the landscaping and view of lake and mountains was more than beautiful. We made several trips to the Parc du National to go hiking and canoeing --absolutely breathtaking views on mountain tops. We also were close to nearby town of St. Jovite and the Mont-Tremblant resort --so much charm, great restaurants, and family fun. Our kids are 13, 11, and 9 --this lake house was perfect for us. We hope to go back next year and highly recommend this beautiful home.
