Beautiful home and great communication!

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful mountain home and its owner are both life savers! I had reserved a 4 bedroom home for a three month immersion, months in advance and it fell through just days before we were set to move in! But Jay swooped in to save the day! He granted permission for a herd of travelling circus acrobats to move into his dearly beloved hand built house. He was flexible, agreeable and easy to communicate with. We all loved sitting on the giant wrap around porch and watching the mountains and various birds (so many woodpeckers!) and as circus monkeys we made good use of the large lawn. This house blends country charm (little creeks, so much woods) with easy access to city activities. We were also grateful to have someone come and clean every two weeks to keep the space tidy and feeling good. The house became a wonderful home for our international tribe and Jay was a pleasure to do business with, and neighbor beside.

Rustic Elegance With Attention to Detail

  • 5 of 5

What a treasure! This house offered everything we wanted and more. It is spacious, well appointed, and spotlessly clean with gorgeous furnishings and decor.

The location gave us the sense of being secluded while being convenient to everything from downtown Asheville to the market to hiking, biking and rafting.

Jay goes above and beyond as an owner, with attention to detail as well as a personal interest in his guests' comfort and satisfaction.

We would definitely come back, and we recommend this rental without hesitation!

Great Asheville Area House

  • 5 of 5

Great house and home base for discovering and exploring the area. We're a family of four and had more than enough space in this comfortable and convenient house. Owners very responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Asheville Mountian Home

  • 5 of 5

Wow! Spent a week at this house with my 8 year old son and my Mom. A beautiful home in an ideal location for exploring the Asheville area. Just far enough off the beaten path to be private and feel like you're in the mountains, but very convenient to just about everything.

Fantastic House and Property

  • 5 of 5

This is a really great house. It is beautiful and spacious with all amenities. The stereo system through the house was just perfect. The view of the mountains is fantastic and the location is close to Asheville and an easy drive to Great Smokey Mountains National Park. I would totally recommend this house and will stay there again if I make it back to the area.

The listing is perfectly accurate and the owner was extremely helpful. The house was very clean and comfortable. A+ experience.

Girls Weekend

  • 5 of 5

It was our annual "girls weekend". We were calling it a "cabin" up until we walked in the front door. First thing you will notice are the beautiful floors. Then you will notice how well contsructed this house is. We were very comfortable here, quiet neigborhhood, comfortable beds, it was very clean and we were never too warm or cool. We enjoyed seeing the balloons sail past on a Saturday morning and the pretty fall foilage. The kitchen had most of what we needed and has very nice appliances. Downtown Ashville was a short easy drive as was the Builtmore Village and the NC Arboretum, a beautiful place in any season. It was a little too cool to take full advantage of the large deck, but it would be a lovely spot to enjoy summer evenings and mornings over looking a stream and mountains.
