We had an absolutely wonderful stay and made so many great family memories. Our family of 9 enjoyed swimming, paddle boarding, playing games, golfing, and, of course, plenty of good food. The house was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Having 4 bathrooms was a huge plus for our large family. We especially loved the dock and the screened-in porch, and the water was nice and warm for swimming.Thank you for a fantastic stay and for providing such a wonderful place for our family to enjoy time together. We would definitely stay here again.

Lake Trip

We really enjoyed our stay here during the 4th. Great location on the lake. The house had plenty of room for all of our family. Great communication and easy check in.

This was the 2nd year of staying at the house. We had a great trip and plan on going back again next year. The owner was accommodating and very responsive throughout the stay.

The property was perfect for our family. My daughter even brought her dog. The kitchen was well equipped. There was also board games, puzzles, and books. The view was incredible. Sitting on the dock was very relaxing. I also loved the screened in porch. We had a lovely time. Close to Morrow Mountain State Park for hiking. We would definitely return to these house!

The location will sell you on this property. The view is exactly as shown in the photo, and we were either out on the dock or sitting inside the screened porch.The house has a large kitchen, seated table and den area; perfect for 2 couples to have more than ample room.I would definitely stay here again with friends and their well-behaved pets. Our 2 dogs loved it too.

Cozy spot on the lake

House was nice and cozy, fully stocked with all we needed. Location was nice, great view of the lake. Kids had fun fishing and swimming ALL day everyday. Was nice how the water tappered off in depth so smaller kids could stand up to play in the water and the bigger kids could jump off the deck in the water on the deeper side. Everyone had a great time.

Loved the property and worked well for our family with plenty of bedrooms so each had their own - very comfy beds/linens. Great water views, well stocked kitchen equipment & cookware (tip: for safety reasons the fridge will be completely empty on arrival - but there's a Food Lion 7 min away which was VERY handy!) As Seniors, we also liked that there weren't a lot of stairs (in the house or to the dock) The dock is well enough off the main boating path which made for enjoyable swimming/kayaking/fishing. Already planning for next year!

2nd stay

We enjoyed our 2nd stay here. The property has plenty of room, is clean and well maintained, there are leisurely activities available including puzzles, books, cornhole, etc. The fishing off the dock is excellent. Our 8 year old caught her first largemouth bass right off the edge of the pier. The property is conveniently located to shopping and the marina, a quick 5-10 minute drive or boat ride. We plan on staying here again as long as the property is available to us. Thank you again for another great stay!

Perfect family getaway

Our family absolutely loved staying at this home. With adult children who live all over the country and their small children, it becomes harder for us all to get together. This wonderful home provided a beautiful place to stay with plenty of room and lots of wonderful amenities. We will absolutely not hesitate to stay here again. Should the opportunity present itself. You will love this one. Lots of space in the lake access view is stunning.

Wonderful house on a beautiful lake

7 of us spent a fabulous 4-day weekend in this beautiful house. The house itself has age, but it's well-maintained with great furnishings. The living and dining area had plenty of space for all of us, and the 2 master bedrooms were spacious.We enjoyed the screened porch, but had to clean the pollen off the furniture before we could use it (probably because we were there in peak pollen season).The property is amazing, with a picturesque view of the lake from all the front windows. We enjoyed walking the stone pathway to the boathouse with its outstanding view of Lake Tillary.When we had questions for the owners, we received quick and helpful replies, or a phone call if it was more appropriate.I highly recommend this house.

Very nice Lake Retreat

Spent 5 days at the lake house for my daughter’s wedding in Norwood. We had friends and family over at various times and used all the bedrooms. 5 beds and 4 baths was great. King beds were comfortable too! Plenty of space for everyone. Screened porch was a bonus providing separation for hanging out. Living room comfortably fit 7 for a Stanley Cup game. Plenty of parking. While the home is a bit dated, it had all the amenities we needed and everything worked as expected, barbecue included. Views of the lake were awesome. While we didn’t use the dock or water, it was ready and available. Overall the home was very nice and met all our needs, hence the 5 star rating.

Enjoyed our stay despite several disappointments. Host was fine and communicated well; check in was a breeze. House has ample space and bedrooms for large families but bathrooms are a bit small. House was generally clean but found bugs in bathrooms and kitchen area the first night and throughout the week. Walkway from house to dock is mostly red clay and backyard has poison growing adjacent to walkway, to which my son is highly allergic. We hoped to utilize the dock for simply docking our boat to enjoy the lake with family but found no way to simply dock our boat and use the dock. Power outlets at dock were locked out also so no chance of charging any onboard batteries or gear. Kids enjoyed jumping in and swimming at the dock but there’s no ladder so be prepared for other means to get them back up on the dock. Wife enjoyed SUP from the dock. Overall pleased with our stay but could’ve been much better.

The house was exactly as advertised. The screened-in porch was great as it was a perfect place to spend time with a lake view without the bugs. Fishing off the dock was good and the neighborhood was a great place to walk. We appreciated the house being dog friendly and having grocery stores as well as two town parks (Norwood) in close proximity ( small children playgrounds). We will definitely consider coming back next year.
