We have a welcoming second floor, corner, one bedroom 723 sq ft condominium, at the Kihei Kai Nani complex across the street from a beautiful beach, Kamaole II, in Kihei (200 meters to sand). The Condo faces the garden, which makes it wonderfully private and quiet. Additionally, it is a corner unit and therefore has two extra windows, one in the dining area and another in the bedroom, letting in more light and a wonderful cross-breeze.

All floors in the unit are tiled. It has a tiled walk-in shower and newly tiled Kitchen counter tops with a breakfast bar. It is equipped with all the needed conveniences (Wireless Internet Router, 2 TVs (L/R & B/R), DVD, VCR, Radio, Air Conditioning, King Sized Bed, Queen Sized Sofa Bed), linens (bed sheets/blankets, beach and bath towels, kitchen towels), beach gear (cooler, drink coolers, snorkeling fins & 4 beach chairs) and a fully equipped kitchen (toaster, coffee maker, blender, rice maker, pots/pans, utensils, dishes etc.).

Kihei Kai Nani Complex Information: Kihei Kai Nani boasts a large beautiful freshwater pool, a shuffleboard court, and a very well equipped laundry facility. The complex is located adjacent to a number of shops and restaurants, making it possible to stay here without the need for a rental car. The Maui bus stops by on S. Kihei road, just outside the complex, for non-walking distance outings. The staff at Kihei Kai Nani is helpful and will assist with informational needs.

Each unit is allowed 1 vehicle free parking in the parking lot. Parking lot has security staff monitoring the complex. Quiet time is enforced by security staff and runs from 10 pm thru 7 am.

Condo facilities: The unit is fully furnished for you to enjoy your vacation in Maui, including beach & bath towels and bed linens. Snorkel equipment and beach chairs are available for guest use. An outdoor BBQ is feet way from the Lanai. The condo has an ideal location in the complex, with a garden view and a view of the West Maui volcano from the lanai, giving it the advantage of privacy and quiet, so that you can enjoy breakfast, read a book or simply enjoy hearing the birds.

The Kitchen was recently outfitted with new tiled countertops with built-in breakfast counter. The Kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker, toaster, blender, rice maker, utensils, bowls, casseroles, pots/pans, plates, cups, dish cloths, some tea/coffee & some spices. The condo is equipped with free Wireless Internet, 2 TVs (Living room and bedroom) DVD, VCR and a Radio. Starter amounts of toiletries are made available for each guest.

South Kihei Area: Kihei is known for its reliably sunny weather with average annual rainfall of 4 - 10 inches annually. It is also known for several of the best of Maui's beaches, including Kamaole, Makena, Ulua, Mokapu and Polo. All beaches' shorelines in Maui are accessible to the public, even the ones where hotels are located have public access to their beaches. Further, one can walk or jog from Kamaole II beach all the way down to South Wailea beaches.

Several outstanding golf courses are available within a few miles, including some of the most famous in Wailea.

Nagyon jó helyen van az üdülő telep, közvetlenül a szabadstranddal szemben. A strand tiszta, rendezett, olyan homok, mintha rostálták volna. A condo jól felszerelt, TV a nappaliban és a hálószobában, internet, és telefon, amin USA és Kanada vonalas hívás ingyenes. Maga az üdülő csendes ápolt, karbantartott. Az üdülőtelep bejáratánál 2 étterem, délután happy ours. A decemberi hőmérséklet 25-30 fok.

Enjoyed our stay!

Nice 2nd floor unit. Located on top floor and at the end of building. This created a quiet, well ventilated space with lots of natural lighting. Unit was clean and maintained nicely. Kitchen had all the pots, pans, etc. needed for home cooking (and drinking). Nice walk-in tile shower and very comfortable king bed added to a great experience.

Fun in the Maui Sun!

Elizabeth and Chuck's place was perfect for our stay in Maui! The condo came equipped with snorkel gear and boogie boards. The location of the condo is fantastic, right across the street from a great kid-friendly beach with great snorkeling on both ends of the beach! The condo is also located next to a shopping center to with a great ice cream shop. The condo complex also has a great pool too. We would definitely return to this clean, excellently located condo. First Time in Hawaii

It was our 1st time in Hawaii and the condo was great. Great instructions from the owner. The condo was right next to the pool, there was no long walk. All the amenities that we needed were in the condo. I would recommend this condo to friends/relatives or whoever is reading this recommendation. Thank you Liz & Chuck.

Great location, very clean

Nice and clean apartment in great location. All things one could want were here: towels, beach towels, umbrella and so on. Quiet at night but close to restaurants and very close to the beach. The pool was also nice and big. We stayed with our 6 month old and there was enough space for everyone. We would definitely consider coming back here if we come back to Maui.

AWFUL OUTDATED JUNKY OLD DIRTY FURNITUR!!

Our first impression was not good it was not at the time they said we could check in.When we arrived the appearance was more like a motel not a resort. The outside was not very attractive which the pictures did not reflect, as we was driving up to the condo we immediately got a bad feeling it was NOT very inviting,. We arrive the day before to extend our trip because We did not want to loose a whole day from traveling. We stayed at a beautiful hotel and all we was thinking we sure hope the condo that we paid for in advance would be equally as nice WELL it was far from it not only was it not ready the shower was being repaired it was not the scenic view you wanted ti see in BEAUTIFUL MAUI. Well we contacted the owners via telephone to explain the condition of the condo as we arrived. The owner said she would contact her husband and get back with us we waited for her to get back with us we started to panic a little. We knew we would have to fine somewhere else to stay. We went back to the HOTEL we stay at the day before and they accommodate us and the weekly rate we got was they same money we paid for they CONDO. We were determine not to let this ruin our trip we knew they would not refund our money and that we would be at a lost. We made the best of a BAD situation. They did inform us that they refunded us a a I night stay 3 days later through an email not a phone call. Renter beware this COND 252 is not worth the money. Maybe they will take they money that they did return to us and buy some new furniture, because furniture that is there looked like has not been clean since they bought it sometimes people buy these condos and they rent them out and never reinvest Please put some of the money that you are making and update your condos, they have other units as well be advised do not not waste your hard earned money!!! We could not stay there!!!!

Owner's Response: The facts of this booking are as follows: • The first time the guest contacted us about an issue was at 5:00pm Friday, advising that she had re-checked into a hotel & was not going to stay at the condo. • The condo was not ready at 3:00pm as promised. It was ready 1 hour later by 4:00pm, due to a delay in cleaning & some silicone sealing work needed in the shower at the same time the guest arrived. This is the first time we have been late on having the unit cleaned and we take full responsibility. • The guest never checked in, nor brought in her luggage. Both cleaning staff & maintenance spoke briefly with the guest & indicated that she could leave her bags in the unit & they would finish work in a few minutes. • After discussing the situation with my husband the same day, we credited the guest for 1 full night due to the 1 hour delay in condo preparedness & sent an e-mail confirming this. • Follow up note & texts were sent on Saturday & Monday due to no response from the guest. • Despite the condo being ready 1 hour later on the day promised, the guest did not stay in the condo any of the 7 booked days. Consequently, the condo was empty the entire week. • The condo is exactly as advertised & as shown in the pictures in our listing. The furniture in the unit is comfortable, functional, and clean. Many other positive customer reviews confirm this. • In the past year, the following items in the condo have been replaced with brand new items: Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Air Conditioner, 2 Flat screen TVs, Stereo, & Drapes. • There is no misrepresentation about the condo view in the listing, it states “the condo faces the garden”, which it does. The listing includes a picture of this view. • The VRBO listing includes a picture of the building exterior. It is exactly as shown. The building is in excellent condition and has been recently painted. • Summary: In almost 6 years of operation we have never had a guest behave in this manner, and it is unclear why she never gave us or the unit a chance since she never moved into the unit. The guest decided upon arriving that she did not want to stay and used the minor delay in condo preparedness as her reason for not staying the entire week. The condo grounds are very colorful with various trees, plants, & flowering bushes. The condo is in excellent condition & is accurately depicted in our listing. The guest left & re-checked into the hotel before contacting us, making it impossible for us to remedy any of her concerns.

The Condo is in Kihei Kai Nani is across the street from Kamaole Beach II, which is rated as one of the top beaches on Maui by many publications, including the highly regarded Maui Revealed. It is within walking distance of several good restaurants, shops and snorkeling, making it possible to vacation here without renting a car. Maui buses stop just outside Kihei Kai Nani, and have several routes. Further, it is located 2 miles from exclusive Wailea with wonderful golf courses, beaches, snorkeling and shopping.

Kamaole Beach II has wonderful golden sand, is both wide and long and has good snorkeling on the North and South ends. Further, a walking path runs along the coastline and beaches connecting Kamaole Beach I, all the way South to Makena beach, making for wonderful shoreline walks or jogging. There are benches situated along this pathway to allow for resting and Whale Watching during the December - March, when the Whales are frequently seen frolicking just off-shore.
