Welcome to our Lovely and cozy one-bedroom basement suite located in East Vancouver in a very quiet and safe neighborhood, with easy access to public transportation, within walking distance to the Skytrain station and only 15 15-minute drive to downtown Vancouver. It is a great place for a couple or for a solo traveler. You will have everything you need during your stay to make you feel at home. Plenty of street parking.

This adorable place was a perfect after a long day of shopping & sightseeing. It had everything you needed to make it feel like a home away from home. Centrally located on a safe quiet street with lots of beautiful trees and parking. Thanks Joe & family

Arriving at the property was a bit weird. It's not clear where to go at all. Full kitchen and laundry was super useful. Shower pressure was amazing. Upon arrival the dryer was full of towels and the dishwasher full of dishes. Not a big deal, we put everything away and left it the same way when we checked out. The fans were useful at bedtime. All necessities were there. My only complaint is there is literally no storage to put your things. Some shelves or a small dresser would be really helpful. Also, the living/kitchen are is really crowded. The random 3rd office chair is just in the way. A little love seat would have been nice but we just pulled out the kitchen chairs to use as foot stools and it worked.

Great weekend stay

Joe was very prompt in replying to messages! We were able to get in early and leave our bags for a couple extra hours when we left which was really helpful. The kitchen and washing machine were great additions, as was the fan in the bedroom. Both myself and I partner like to sleep with an excessive number of pillows and there was only 4 on the bed but that's obviously just our own personal preferences (and frankly I don't think we're normal when it comes to that) but that's literally the only thing I could even think of as slightly less than perfect, overall this was a great place to stay!

This was a great little place to stay for our first time in Vancouver. It had all the amenities we needed and was nice and clean. It was also very easy to communicate with the host and to get into the space once we arrived! The train and bus stops were about a 10 minute walk away, which worked for us.

Small basement suite on a nice location near the Skytrain station. The entrance was hard to find (especially in the dark) since there's no signs pointing to the narrow alley you need to use to get to the back of the house. The suite was small and a bit full with furniture. Why put an additional desk chair in this already small room?. Overal it was good but not very comfortable for one or two nights.

Very nice, but more storage would help.

Very nice for two people, cosy is a good term to use, and generally it was fine. There is one exception to this which is the lack of storage space. This could have been improved if the bedroom cupboard space was better used.

Very nice stay in Vancouver

I enjoyed my stay. Location is good with minimal traffic and close to everything. Place had everything we needed and the neighbourhood was quiet and had lots of space for parking. Communication was clear and it was easy to get hold of the host. I would stay here again!

Cozy Place

Loved the location and the unit. Unit was very clean and homey. Kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom were excellent. The sitting area is a bit small, but it worked ok for us. Linens were good quality, and unit is equipped with the basic essentials to do own cooking which is important to us. Host is friendly and accommodating.

Small basement

A little spot for single traveller or couple not needing alot of space. Tight spacing not allowing fridge door to fully open. In suite laundry was nice! I did find it hard to find as entry to suite is in the back with minimal signage I almost felt like I was trespassing trying to sneak around the house

Nice Spot

This was a nice little 1 bedroom suite in a good location.Reason I gave 3 stars was due to an issue with the hot water in the shower it would only last 5 or 6 minutes then go cold. I think they may need a new hot water tank.

We booked this property to be close to my son. The neighbourhood is nice but you do have to walk to the skytrain to get around. The property itself is quite nice but when you walk around back to the rental entrance, the area at the bottom of the stairs is very unappealing. The unit is basic and served our purpose.

We had a great stay. They had a washer and dryer which was very convenient and a very nice kitchen. We were super comfortable and the area we were in made us feel very safe. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely place to stay about 11 minute walk to the Nanaimo skytrain in Vancouver. If you need to go to BC Place it is a 30 minute train ride. Metro town is about 40 minutes away bus and train rides. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. There is a small convenience store the next block over which was lovely. The host was very helpful they gave me a booklet with all I needed to know what the place.
