A Beach Break - if you enjoy the amenities of vacationing in a gated community on our top rated beach, but would also like more space and privacy than most townhomes on the Cape offer, then 'A Beach Break' may just be what you're looking for.
Located in the gated townhome community of SeaCliffs near the entrance to St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, 'A Beach Break' overlooks the community pool and swing set and has lovely gulf views from our second-floor balcony and third-floor screened porch (see photos).
A three-story, quiet end unit with 1560+ square feet of living space, our amenities include 2 master bedrooms (one with a king bed, one with a queen bed) with large closets, a bunk-bed nook that’s perfect for the younger set, and a queen-size pull-out sleeper sofa (with a deluxe 8-inch mattress) in the living room area.
The 2½ bath unit features a 'sea glass' color theme with sea life prints and accessories for a comfortable, relaxed feeling. The spacious eat-in kitchen provides seating for six at the table plus seating for four more at the bar.
Our award-winning sugar sand beaches are just a 90-second walk away over the community walkway. The nearby St. Joseph Peninsula State Park was rated America's Best Beach in 2002 by Dr. Stephen P. Leatherman, otherwise known as Dr. Beach. The Cape has also been rated the #1 Dog-Friendly Beach in the USA in 2013 by PetVR. We accept two small dogs or one medium-sized dog for an additional pet fee.

'A Beach Break was a fantastic place. We had plenty of room with 8 people and 1 dog. The access to the beach was less than a minute walk and the unit had plenty of beach gear that we were able to use. I had brought our own chairs and beach equipment and never even used them! The kitchen was perfect with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and even spices (I brought my own; but the unit has a pretty good supply). We enjoyed relaxing at the beach during the day, taking evening walks with the beautiful sunset, shelling, seeing crabs, chasing the ghost crabs and we even had a beach fire on our last night! I would definitely recommend your place and look forward to coming again next year!!'

We had a wonderful time and hope to return next year! The property was well maintained and the condo unit well equipped, bright and comfortable. We loved walking our little Papillon on the nearby beautiful beach and meeting other friendly dogs and their owners too! We enjoyed a nice lunch at The Sand Bucket and a fun casual dinner at Indian Trading Pass. We also enjoyed the bike trail and the nature trails at St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, which was right next door! As an added bonus, we enjoyed a violin concert in Apalachicola, less than an hour away.
Very nice and large condo for the money. Well maintained with a very thorough and responsive owner. Community pool was top notch and beach access was easy and close.
This home is stocked with everything that you will need for a fabulous vacation. All kinds of beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, floats, etc. have been shared by the owner. The complex is well appointed and cared for. The views are lovely. The sands and shells and water are incomparable to any other beach in the world.
Having stayed at this property previously, I knew what to expect. However, the redecoration made for a pleasant beach side stay. Decorator inspired room colors complemented the new living room sofas, chair and ottoman. One sofa, a queen sleeper. New comforters and pillow shams on all of the beds. Sufficient bedding and towels.Extra blankets available( and we needed them in December).
The kitchen was adequately furnished with enough cookware, china, cutlery to satisfy Rachel Ray.
Great laundry equipment! We wanted to steal them and replace ours at home. We even investigate screenedd Speed Queen dealers in our area .
Another real plus is the south-facing screened deck off the living room. You can see BOTH sunrises and sunsets. The colors are fantastic. Make sure you bring your camera.
Oh, just as an aside, we have noticed a marked improvement in the public water quality. It no longer tastes strange..
We have been staying at different locations on Cape San Blas for eleven years and we have experienced a lot of different "beach furniture." All of the chairs and toys for the beach are in great condition. The deck furniture is also in great condition. You don't have to be afraid to sit on any of the chairs
Having stayed for a month we got really familiar with this property. It doesn't have those rental quirks and has all the provisions of home.
Finally, the owner, Dave Cornish, is very responsive, communicative and helpful.

I am so glad we chose CSB and A Beach Break for our spring vacation. Other than having more homes, the cape hasn't changed much from the last time we visited. It's still quiet, a bit remote, and extremely relaxing. Dave's townhome is perfect, with everything we could possibly need, and SeaCliffs is peaceful and located conveniently close to the state park. I'm hoping that we can return for a visit later this year, and am already looking forward to it. Thanks, Dave!!!

The Beach Break was wonderful! Our stay was extremely comfortable and fun. We had everything in the condo and just had to bring food. The pool was nice and the walk to the boardwalk was very short. We would definetly go back and would recommend to all. Thanks for everything!

CANCELLATION POLICY ... While the exact details are spelled out in the rental agreement, I'd summarize it as follows: if you cancel within 10 days after making your reservation, your deposit will be refunded in full; if you cancel after 10 days, your deposit (less a $100+tax cancellation fee) will be refunded only if the property is re-rented to another guest for the same rent and time period. One alternative to outright cancellation is re-booking your trip for different dates, and the change is subject only to the same $100+tax fee.
