We loved the condo! It was as described on web site. It was very cute and loved the upgrades. Great location and loved all it had to offer. A bonus to have beach chairs!Perfect view and ease of getting in and out of the building/parking was great. We would definitely stay again!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very nice, but other than clean towels and sheets, housekeeping was non existent. I had to clean out spaghetti from the filter clogged in the dishwasher. I wiped down walls and cabinet doors splattered with coffee/coke. Be VERY careful with pool wristbands. $20 a band if lost.Then, of course, there was the dredging issue. Looks like the price could have been reduced. Rusty pipe does not make for breathtaking views.

Absolutely Stunning

My wife and I stayed there for a long weekend. It was perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer. The unit was very nicely decorated. A lot of the furniture looked new. It was clean. The view from the balcony was great as well. I would stay here again. This is great spot.

No remote or working Internet.

Manager was rude when alerted the first night we had no Internet, no remotes, therefore no tvs to watch. The first night was ruined by no entertainment, and couldnt log onto computer to complete work.

We do apologize for the inconvenience of the TV and Internet on the 1st day. You checked in around closing time the 1st of your 2-night visit with us. We have an emergency number to call on our front door and in your check in materials. We could have gotten you connected that 1st night had you called us being that you just needed to look on the modem to find the username and password to get connected to the internet. You didn't notify us until the next morning around 10am of any issues, and we addressed them immediately. You needed 1 remote replaced for the bedroom TV only. We offered some compensation for your 1-night loss of internet and tv from 8pm to 10am the next morning, but that didn't seem to be enough for you that you asked for a late checkout. We did accommodate a late checkout time that you took further advantage of an extra 30 minutes causing housekeeping to get off schedule waiting on you to vacate the condo. Again, we apologize for any misunderstanding.

Our family appreciate the unit that rented for the week and was very pleased and they said it was excellent it was everything we told it would be. The one thing that our unit had was small amounts of water leaking through the floor and we had reported it to the office and they responded quickly and we were told that this had been on going problems since May 2025. With a pending storm and state emergency alert we were trying to reach someone in the office and was unable. Did end up reaching Emergency Management if Horry County who gave me the answers we needed. Having an emergency number in advance would be helpful. Everyone has been wonderful through the years we have been there. Thank you so very much.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the water issue. The building maintenance is working to fix this issue of small amounts of water under the flooring. We are not sure why you had trouble reaching the office. We send out all of our contact information (phone numbers, email, Facebook, etc) when you reserve your condo. We have regular office hours and emergency contact information on our office front door and voicemail if you reach us after hours. Always leave a message, and we promptly return phone calls. You can also reach us by email and Facebook messenger that is monitored after hours as well. Your kind words about our team and property mean a lot to us, and we truly value your ongoing support over the years. We look forward to welcoming you and your family back to Garden City soon!

The nicest condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at a number of units at Waters Edge. This unit was by far the nicest we’ve had. The furniture was also too nice for a rental. The condo was completely stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. It did lack a large pot but other than that very well accommodating. Even the balcony furniture was well appointed and heavy. The only drawback was the tv did not get local stations. The tv’s did have a number of apps but it would have been nice to have the local news, etc.Still would have to rate it 5 stars.We will certainly request it again.

The property was great. Cannot beat the beach access. Pool was clean. Elevators clean. The building is old but the renovated unit is nice. Kitchen appliances worked great. We had everything we needed. Bathrooms were tight and the showers felt dated but it also felt like an established beach town! No complaints. Would return!

Condo was beautifully decorated, exceptionally well stocked kitchen with everything a cook might need. Furniture was lovely, bed comfortable. Lanai table and chairs were heavy wood and not terribly comfortable but that was the only small slightly negative thing to note. We would absolutely stay here again. Pool and hot tub well maintained and excellent security. The beach was great as well.

Our stay was a last minute decision since the trip we had originally planned got canceled due to a family illness. The condo is perfect for a family of 4 and my boys loved the pool. We will come back again.

Disappointment at the Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great till we had to leave 2 days earlier because of the hurricane. We only stayed 5 out of 7 days.We know this area is flooded after a lot of rain from experience and we knew we could not get out. We also used to get 10% off the price because we were coming every year till COVID, so only 3% was a disappointment.
