In downtown Carson City, this 1915-built home provides the perfect central location and atmosphere. Enjoy a quick 5-minute walk to the Capitol, restaurants, shops, casinos, museum, and entertainment. Quick drives to Lake Tahoe (25 mins), Reno (30 mins), and Virginia City (30 mins) provide easy access to all of Northern Nevada. You and your group will have the entire house and yard to yourself for ultimate comfort and enjoyment.

Explore what Carson City offers; enjoy the wine walk on the first Saturday of every month, the many restaurants, ghost walks, and events. Parking is easy, but you won't need to drive to enjoy the downtown area. Take a day trip up to Lake Tahoe; spend time on the beaches, hiking, and mountain biking in the summer months, or hit the mountains, go sledding, snowshoeing, and exploring. Reno is just a short drive away, allowing you to explore the vibrant Biggest Little City for shows, events, and activities or catch a convenient flight out of the Reno Tahoe International Airport.

The location of this property was perfect for our stay. It was a bonus that restaurants, pubs and shops are within walking distance. We stay in rentals often and this was one of the cleanest, well stocked and organized rentals we’ve stayed in. When we arrived we found a lovely welcome note and basket of snacks from the host. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay during the holidays

My family and I decided to spend our Christmas in Carson City. This property was great, very spacious and everything at our disposal with no issues, will definitely stay here again for future trips.

Absolutely beautiful home in a cozy, quiet neighborhood! We really loved the walking distance to cute little restaurants and coffee houses…even came across some deer just enjoying the day. :) And Shawnee is such an incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive host. You won’t be disappointed with any aspect of your stay here! Looking forward to another visit to this wonderful home in the future!

This is our second stay at this property and once again, it did not disappoint! The space is bright and airy with plenty of room and lovely high ceilings - the bedrooms are all comfy and well-appointed and the kitchen is gorgeous. The neighborhood is so pretty, with historic homes and lots of trees, and the central location means you are very close to everything! Lastly, the host is warm, welcoming, and very organized, and Shawnee made everything happen seamlessly!We absolutely love this property and hope we can return soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed your home and our stay. The home was so well equipped for cooking etc. it was just like being at home. There was more than enough room for 4 adults. Highly recommended! Exceptionally clean too! Thank you for being the perfect host!

Perfect Carson City Abode

You won't be disappointed with this charming house! It's beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well appointed. I loved that it's a short walk to downtown shopping, restaurants and bars. The host makes you feel like a valued guest. If I'm in town again I'll definitely book this property.

Heart of Carson City

This was a delight! The house is adorable (it looks just like a dollhouse from the front) and is bright and spacious. The decor is modern and inviting and the kitchen is gorgeous! The host provided everything one could possibly need and more, and was friendly and available. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this property wholeheartedly!

A home away from home. The cutest home that ended up being just as described and just what we needed. The host was fantastic. I feel bad for taking so long to get the review up. After booking the home for 4 of us, we had a last minute family member reach out and ask if they could crash one night with us. I reached out to the host who was quick to respond that there was no problem. The house has enough room and it made it really nice to tell the family they had a place for the 1 night. On the day of the trip we had a long flight out and while we changed flights I received a message from the host that the house was clean early and we could arrive earlier that the scheduled time. I thanked her and let her know we were still on our way. The cutest gift basket awaited us in the kitchen when we arrived. I really appreciated that extra touch. The house was clean. It had exactly what we needed for our stay. This was the first Vrbo for my folks and they loved the whole concept. The neighborhood was perfect. Near a school that you can hear kids playing in the mornings. We knew the "old downtown" and my parents walked it every morning. They kept commenting about the local deer in that were wandering the neighborhood. I don't have a single complaint. Everyone was happy and the host made everything really easy. I would 100% utilize this Vrbo the next visit out to Grandmas. This was just the perfect distance to her place and everywhere else we needed to be.
We messed up the bed a little before I remembered the photo. It's a king bed and the room has its own bathroom and balcony.

The outside furniture was filthy. We had to clean the furniture on the front patio before we sat down because it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Even the handrail. Forget about sitting in the backyard. Exiting the screen door into the backyard, There was a huge rip in it where I couldn’t even use the screen if I wanted to. The furniture back there was filthy and the barbecue was so coated with old food that it was already becoming another piece of meat. No attention to detail. When we arrived, the stove was filthy greasy from other people’s food. The handles on the refrigerator were still sticky from previous tenants. Even the lights overhead of the bar were thick with dust. Disgusting.
