The host was FANTASTIC!!! Impeccable communication and availability! So kind and accommodating. She even initiated communication letting us know to stay as long as we needed when she saw a big storm was coming in the night before our departure morning.The cabin is so lovely and homey and has everything needed for a lovely vacation! It was really warm and cozy despite the below freezing temperatures outside. The development is really well maintained and they shovel the snow right up to your doorstep! The bed was very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets in the closet. I would have given 5 stars and almost did, but my husband was put off by all of the spiderwebs everywhere on the ceilings and walls. He and my kids have huge arachnophobia and so he was really bothered by that and felt like it would have been so easy to just use one of those swiffer dusters to knock them down when they cleaned. Other than those spiderwebs though- the place was SO clean!!! Our daughter has celiac disease so we feel so much better when there aren’t crumbs around. The other slight thing that knocked a star off was that they have the guests wash the dishes by hand before they leave and there is no dishwasher so many of the dishes we pulled out were noticeably dirty. Not a big deal to us because we have to prewash every dish we use anywhere we stay anyway because of our daughter’s extreme sensitivity to any gluten the dishes could have come in contact with. Others may have big issues though.
