Hermoso ski-in, condominio ski-out en Sunstone Lodge, ubicado en el sendero Eagle Run de Mammoth Mountain sobre Juniper Springs Lodge. Esta propiedad en el segundo piso tiene vistas a la montaña y excelentes comodidades en todo. La cómoda sala de estar cuenta con un televisor de pantalla plana grande, un sofá y una chimenea personalizada y se abre a un gran balcón con vistas a la montaña.

La cocina completa tiene encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos renovados, con un área de bar y asientos para cuatro personas en el área del comedor. El dormitorio principal tiene una cómoda cama King y un televisor de pantalla plana, el segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales y TV, y la sala de estar tiene un sofá cama Queen. Ropa de cama mejorada, ropa de cama y suministros en todo, ¡y dos baños completos!

Comfy Place, Just Don't Expect WIFI

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this property is fantastic if you like being near Eagle Lodge. It is truly ski-in/ski-out. The unit isn't large but well suited for 4-6 people. BUT, if you expect to work remotely, or if you have kids that expect their devices to get wifi so they can use their apps and talk to their friends back home, do not stay here! The wifi is atrocious. Other than that is very similar to other properties we have stayed at in Mammoth.

Reviewer Comments: great 2 night stay and 3 day ski/board trip. location excellent for ski/snowboard in/out right to Eagle lift. comfortable. good HVAC, kitchen, underground parking, luggage cart to bring supplies up and down, ice machine in building. we knew sunstone has coin op laundry only, but short stay so didnt need. good bedding, felt clean and well maintained unit. had to figure out logistics to check in and out and still ski for 1st day and last day, ie drive to eagle parking lot or local streets before check in and after check out, but that is true for all rentals with 4 pm check in and 10 am check out. had to get and return keys off site, but all directions were clear and reservation office right in town near vons. would definitely stay at sunstone again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, love the ski in and out. condo was clean and had just been refurbished. The new things looked nice but the functionality was just barely good enough. Beds were awful. twins were very squeaky and very uncomfortable.... Could actually feel the springs... I imagine they were simply the cheapest thing the owner could purchase. Plus, I am only 5'11" and my feet hung off the end of the bed. Not sure they were made for adults. Second bedroom had no furniture. It has a couple baskets in the closet. No drawers or night stands. One small table between the beds was it. Refrigerator shelf was broken. New lights were harsh! There was just a clear glass cover over the bulbs and there was just nothing to soften the lights. Folks in the master complained about the lighting. Overall we had a nice trip and we were happy to be in the ski in and out and the condo was clean and looked nice. It was just that it was not all that comfortable and although the redo was appreciated, more thought into guest comfort would have been greatly appreciated.

Appliances worn out

The refrigerator is missing a bottom shelf in the door. The biggest problem with it is that it is VERY LOUD. Same goes with the dishwasher. It is VERY LOUD. Those two outdated appliances make it hard to enjoy watching TV (for such a small kitchen/living room the focus should be on quiet appliances). The vents in the bathrooms are also very loud. For such a nice apartment in a good location it is a shame that the owner does not replace appliances and fans that are obviously long past replacement date. The king size bed was fitted with a queen size mattress. Another thing that did not work was the wifi. All these issues are easy fixes, yet you keep renting it out in this condition. On the upside the apartment was clean. The stove worked fine and so did the microwave oven. The hot tub was super nice. I suspect you won't post this review as it does not shine a positive light on Sunstone #214. What you should do is let the owner know, or suggest, that he maintains the apartment properly. It is such an easy fix. Would we return to Sunstone? Yes, but not to this apartment.

An absolutely wonderful location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I go to Mammoth for the snowboarding. We enjoy not needing to drive while we are up there. This condo is practically ski in and out (maybe 20 feet of walking if I'm being picky), the garage is heated, and there are elevators. The condo has very good lighting (we work remote, good lighting makes all the difference when we have to work). If you plan on cooking, bring your own spices (some places have mountains of spices in their drawers from what people had left, this place has salt and pepper). But really, this place is nice.It is worth noting, this wasn't our original place. We had arrived up in Mammoth for a week and the place we were going to stay had a roof leak over the bed. The management company found another place for us which was impressive giving the length of stay and absolutely amazing season Mammoth is currently having.

Only pet peeve is that now that Covid has abated would really expect towel service or at least stocking the units with lots of wash cloths so that we didn’t have to launder washcloths nearly every day in central laundry. For the price we should not have to wash our own washcloths.

Every time one person rolls over in the master bed it would wake the other person up. My kids preferred to sleep on the pull out couch to the twin beds.

Always amazing

Always an amazing stay and staff were easily there to help us when we had some minor difficulties getting the appliances to work. Remember to bring a hotspot for any of your devices. Seems like over the years the sunstone internet is either getting more usage and declining in usability or its just extremely out dated. So bringing a hot spot for your devices is pretty vital if you’re wanting to use your phone in the rooms or any wifi using device

Slow speeds and just not good overall experience. Had to go to Lobby to get a decent consistent connection.- Hot tub was barely lukewarm and unusable. Called to ask to fix but nothing happened.

Service was great and we were so happy to stay there. We truly enjoyed our stay and could relax there!The only issue I had was that the dishes and cups were dirty and most still had food stuck on them. When I got there, I had to hand wash some items and place all dishes and cups into the dishwasher. It wasn't great when first arriving to discover that.

Exactly what i thought it would be

Ease of getting in especially during covid. Overall extremely pleased. Main tv in the living room does not work but we did not really notice or use it especially when there is no sports on. Absolutely coming back and using it again

Spring Break Mammoth with the kidos! Percect

We always enjoy our stay at Sunstone. Location is perfect, easy ski in/out. Convenient locker storage for skis and boards. Parking is easy. This units in particular is comfortable. Nice TV in the living room and beds were comfy. Two twins in one room and a king master means everyone has space to stretch out and feel comfortable. Thank you! xx
