Do you have a large group looking for a great Townhome? This tasteful, newly renovated, mountain decor 4 Bedroom/3 bath townhome in Mammoth Lakes California is it! This unit is located right on the Winter Red Line Shuttle route and just a short walk to shopping, dining and theaters. Evenings can be spent around the fireplace watching television and movies or listening to music. Meals can be prepared in the kitchen and served hot at the breakfast bar or dining table. A spa, sauna, and laundry facilities round out this mountain side, restful location. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Approx 1900 sq ft; with 2 parking spaces. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. You will be glad you chose this one! Living room : Flatscreen TV/VCR/DVD/CD, kitchen, dining, woodstove, full bath and deck. Master bedroom: King bed. Bedroom #2: Queen bed (TV) and shared full bath. Bedroom #3: 2 Twin beds and shared full bath. Bedroom #4: 2 sets of bunk beds = (2 Twins, 2 Doubles), TV and shared full bath. Maximum Occupancy: 8. Our calendar is updated in real time. A fishing reunion

Got Bed Bugs

Everything was great except for the bed bugs which one of us got severe allergic reaction from and we’re still waiting to hear back from them on protocol.

City was way busier then normal and a little crazy. Overall though we had a great time as usual.

Old and dark

Our stay at this property was a little disappointing. The listing and other reviews mentioned the cleanliness which I found lacking. The carpets in the bedrooms and downstairs area were stained and appeared dirty. The bedding in some rooms seemed dingy. The bath linens were a bit thin and scratchy. Overall a dated unit. The microwave was so old it took us a while to figure out how to use it as were the heating elements in the bedrooms. The dishwasher was also old and terribly noisy. It being next to the master bedroom made it difficult to use at nights. WiFi was slow and pretty much useless. Plenty of kitchen supplies though and the fireplace were nice. Nice big balcony facing the street. Not likely to stay here again.

Spacious 4 and 3, but needs improvements

Making sleeping arrangements for a family of 10 was not a problem. All hanging and chatting it up in the dining and living room was fun and easy. Here are the challenges. WiFi needs help. It was the slowest, spotty-est internet service experienced. Cooking in-house was challenge. The exhaust fan area would drip oils. If not careful, your foods will be tainted. We lost a couple meals and spent more monies on take out. It turned out to be pretty pricey. This may work for other families/groups if there are minimal needs for kitchen use. Last, the sight of multiple spiderwebs in different rooms and areas upfront and afar, gave the feel that cleanliness was not top priority. With the aforementioned corrected, we would revisit this unit. As of today, it felt like a money pit.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The blankets were dirty with stains on them. The heater took over 24 hours to get warm in freezing temps. The king mattress in the Master was old and you would sink into the mattress. Unit did not have a shovel to clean walkway. Firewood outside was not accessible due to piled snow on the balcony.

Good location, ok stay

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon first arrival- It smelled like wet dog on the first floor especially the back bedroom. The downstairs carpet was pretty soiled. The place is in a great location and the property with pool, hot tub, and grills are great. The dvd player didn't work and the wifi was really spotty. Luckily we had a hotspot on someone's phone to get a few things done. I did tell the woman about the issues when I checked out, but she didn't even write it I don't know if Mammoth Sierra knows about the problems.

Was fixed promptly but still seems to be tired and old and barely working properly. Also got quick service in replacing DVD player that was not working. Overall a good experience.

Spacious and cozy

We could walk to the movies, grocery store and restaurants. Also, there is a jitney stop right in front of units.

Great mountain condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved this condo! It was perfect for our group. The kitchen was fully stocked so we could cook at home, there were enough bathrooms for the group size we had (6), it’s close to everything. The only complaint was that the beds were not the most comfortable. The master has a memory foam, which I really don’t like, and the other guests said the beds weren’t the best. But after long days of boarding it’s still easy to fall asleep! The condo was very clean, everything worked well. Despite the beds, I’d stay here again.

Perfect for 10 Adults

Slightly disappointed all the firewood was wet and we had to go into town to purchase dry wood. Appreciated the 3 bathrooms. Location to an early Red Line stop is very nice, guarantees as seat up to the hill. Beds were comfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were 3 families - 5 adults and 5 kids - and we fit in the house perfectly. It was nice and clean and the room sizes were good. Our only 2 complaints were, [1] the house was freezing cold when we first arrived and it took half a day to heat the house. After that, the temperature was fine [2] dishwasher was not washing the dishes well. But overall, we had a great experience.

Very spacious condo! Convenient to get to slopes!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a group of 10 stay here for a weekend of snowboarding. The condo was conveniently located near the shuttle line which was perfect because half of our group went to the slopes while the other half went cross country skiing. I'd definitely recommend, and planning on staying here again!

Mammoth summer trip 2016

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Been coming to mammoth since I was a little kid and have stayed at the chateau de montagne in different condos and love this place. I consider it a home away from home. #1 condo is by far the best condo in the complex. Would recommend this condo to everyone. Lot more expensive but worth it.

Nice place, needs a bit more love

Good location and setup for mixed singles and doubles. We had 8 people but only gave towels for 6; said it was their policy to give two sets of towels per bathroom - had to plead for more. Rooms rather dark with dim lighting - brighter bulbs would help.
