We are just a few minutes drive to the historic whaling town of Lahaina, the superb shops and restaurants at Whalers Village Shopping Center in Kaanapali, and the Championship Golf Courses at Kapalua. Whether you choose to swim in the pool, or sun yourself at the pool deck or oceanfront lawn, or take a refreshing dip in the ocean...perhaps a little snorkeling or boogie boarding, or just a stroll down the white sandy beach, you will delight in the natural beauty surrounding you here at the Royal Kahana. There are 4 gas-fired barbecue grills at the pool area, and a big poolside Cabana providing a dining area with captivating panoramic ocean views. Shaka Ice, located in Cabana, provides breakfast and lunch items. For relaxed entertainment, there are ping pong tables and shuffleboard. Two lighted Tennis Court attract our more energetic guests. There is also an on site exercise room. The activity desk in the lobby is very helpful in planning your Maui activities. Internet access and conference room is also on site . The Royal Kahana is within a very short walking distance to many local shops, convenience stores, and great casual to fine dining restaurants. Located directly on the Kahana Coastline, all shoreline is at the mercy of Mother Nature and the tidal ebb and flow of the ocean with its matching wave action. Thus, beach and/or beach access cannot be guaranteed at any time. But there are a couple beach accesses less than a 5 minute walk from the condo. Our location makes for a perfect position to take in and experience the incredible sunsets, turtles, and during Whale Season, the most spectacular show of whales breaching right in front of our lanai.
