Stayed there recently for a few days during my sons wedding, perfect spot to gather with family.
Awesome and Beautiful
We stay at many vacation rentals and this property by far has been the best. We were at this lovely property for our son's wedding at Red Cedar Farm. It was only a five minute drive to the venue and really ended up being the perfect location. Speaking of location, we could not have asked for a better view and fabulous deck for relaxing. (the gardens are also incredible) Now we move on to the house. I will start by saying that it is very clean and everyone felt their beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fabulous. We were able to prepared the rehearsal dinner with ease in this well equipped space. This is clearly a family's personal getaway home and the love and care put into it shows. We would definitely stay here again if we have a large group that is in the area. Thank you Sandi for sharing your lovely home.
Great introduction to the Puget Sound area
I’ve been waiting to get my family to the Puget Sound area for the last 20+ years. I was stationed briefly at NAS Whidbey Island back in the 80s and I fell in love with the area. We picked Sandy’s house as our base of operations and it was a perfect start to our vacation. The only regret was that I did not allow for more time just relaxing at the house!
This is a stunning home with a gorgeous vista. We stayed a full week. The first time we opened the front door and looked through the back of the house to Hood canal and Mt Olympus in the distance was unforgettable. The house is laid out nicely and is tastefully decorated. It’s understated and a bit sparse but matches the house perfectly. The eight of us (2 - 17 year-old, 1 – 13 year-old, 1 – 10 year-old, grandma & grandpa, plus mom & dad) had more than enough room and privacy.
The only issue we had, and it was minor, was that we had to space out the showers, laundry and dish washing because of the septic system. My family had no issues working with that limitation but it’s something to be aware of if you have a large group.
This is a great house and it exceeded my expectations.
Last note: 2nd morning drinking coffee on the back patio, a bald eagle flew into a tree right in front of me. 4th morning, drinking coffee on the back porch, a river otter came bounding across the back yard, not 20 feet from me. Couple that with the porpoises we saw swimming in the canal and it was magnificent.
Our son was married just around the corner at Red Cedar Farm and this was thre perfect place to call home for four days! Beautifully decorated and comfortably accommodated our three children and their families. The view of hood canal and the mountains is incredible and we enjoyed the resident bald eagle's flight every morning and the sunsets at night. Spectacular! We will be returning. Thank you Sandi for graciously sharing your home.
A true gem in Poulsbo
We rented this house for our wedding weekend & it couldn't have been any better :)
Spacious, beautiful, & comfortable. You are getting what you are paying for!
From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The pictures give a perfect sneak peek of what to expect. Everyone loved that they had their own bathroom and it must be noted that four of the five bathrooms have Toto toilet seats each with a bidet and warming feature... A first for many of us!
Our weekend stay was truly charming in the elegant high bank waterfront home.
Thanks, Sandi for making our overall booking experience so easy!
