We had a wonderful time. The house was roomy and comfortable and the hosts were amazing. They showed us how to get to the trail system and also showed us around town. The lake was easily accessible and very calm, perfect for little kids. We would definitely go back. Leigh and Judy were very quick at responding to any questions we had.

Great location, right on Lake Francis. Lots of loon activity around dusk was a plus. Access to the Connecticut lakes was very good, the furthest away being only 30min. Not to mention the drive being along “moose alley”. We were lucky enough to spot one despite only staying for two nights. Property was in good shape, no complaints. Easy check in with personalized lock code. We didn’t end up needing anything but property manager was in contact and very responsive. Would stay again!

Beautiful Location

Clean, cozy cabin with great view of Lake Francis. Close to plenty of outdoor activities, as well as the Buck Rub Pub and 1840 restaurants.

WE LOVE THE OUTDOORS. PITTSBURG IS ONE OF THESE VERY RARE PLACES WHERE ONLY FEW KNOW OF IT YET ITS A PRISTINE YEAR ROUD RECREATIONAL AREA JUST A FEW HOURS AWAY FROM MAJOR CITIES.

Why they chose this property

Gorgeous lakes, incredible snowmobile system that touches 3 states and Canada. Skiing, ATV, Snowshoeing or just hanging out and listening to the loons. Folks are all really nice, and down to earth.

What makes this property unique

The home has has 3 proper bedrooms. 2 bedrooms have heated king sized beds. 1 bedroom has a king and a twin. Ideal for families and couples. The real stacked log home has a walk out basement and is directly on Lake Francis. Unique is the home has 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms. So adults upstairs, kids downstairs and have a great holiday. All the features make this one very special vacation home and unique in the area.
