Located on quiet and beautifully tree lined Oxford avenue in the heart of Eastern NDG (Notre Dame De Grace) in the heart of trendy Monkland Village one of the most desirable neighbourhoods in the city. Featuring a Victorian style 5 bedroom house, beautifully renovated and furnished with taste, good sized rooms with an exceptionally large kitchen and large master bedroom. 4 rooms include Queen size bed and 1 room with double bed.Huge front porch and large back deck.

Activities and Attractions in Montreal: Ndg is an incredibly amazing neighbourhood. It is extremely convenient and easily accessible to all major attractions.

- For cycling enthusiasts there is a convenient BIXI bike stand (Montreal's public bike system) around the corner from here on Marcil/Sherbrooke where you can hire a BIXI and ride it anywhere and then when you're done park it at any of the 400 BIXI stands located in the city.

- Hwy 15 is around the corner which goes right down town in like 5 minutes.

- You can walk to trendy Victoria Village in Westmount and check out all the pretty shops, and cafes, parks.

also a 7 minute walk to NDG's trendy Monkland Village.

- Metro Vendome is 7 minute walk or the bus #105 is at the corner.

There are many varieties of restaurants and eateries to choose from. Grocery stores as well as several speciality shops, banks, parks, water parks, cafes, shops are all steps away. NDG is filled with beautiful Victorian style homes. Extremely safe and family oriented neighbourhood. A great choice if you prefer being centrally located without necessarily being down town.

I have lived in NDG for 25 years and really enjoy this neighborhood and as well this house.I love all the pretty tree lined street. They were definitely a huge selling point for me. The trees add so much character as do most of the houses in this neighborhood which are at least 100 years old. They have so much charm and are all architecturally unique and built with such detail. I just love old neighborhoods. I hope you enjoy it here as much as I do even if it is only for a few days!

The neighborhood is filled with parks, cafes, restos, different ethic type eateries and bakeries, banks, steps to mass transit, bicycle paths, grocery stores and so much more all within minutes, steps and walking distance from my house.

Great safe and quiet neighborhood to take long or short walks in.

What makes this house unique

There are many unique features one being that there is no lane. Although I really enjoy walking up and down lanes I prefer not having one myself. Much safer and quieter.

From the master bedroom looking out two large windows the view of the beautiful trees and the moon it's quiet pretty and not to mention the summer breeze that flows through the room. As well the moon lights simply lights up the room.

The very large and bright kitchen with cathedral style windows is another unique feature of the house. There are patio doors that lead to the deck from the kitchen. The kitchen is exceptionally ideal for cooking and hosting large family dinners and entertaining. I hope you enjoy it as well.

Great house and location

We had a seven person group for Grand Prix week, everyone enjoyed the house, and location. Zoe, the owner, was very helpful with transport, sightseeing and restaurant suggestions. There are lots of cafes and restaurants close by and public transport is great.

We definitely would go back again.

A very nice place to stay in Montreal. It's rustic charm lends itself to cozy living. Very quiet neighborhood with tree lined streets. Zoe is a very warm and friendly hostess.

Monkland Gem - Great Place

We booked this rental with a few thoughts: 1) it was close to public transit and not far from downtown 2) it had five bedrooms 3)It was in a good neighbourhood.

We have no regrets in booking this location. Zoe was attentive to any and all texts we sent her way, the neighbours were nice and friendly and commuting back and forth between downtown was no problem. While we didn't execute on (1), we used Uber and it was 10-15 bucks. The location is clean, the bathrooms are nice and all the amenities make you feel at home. Tons of fridge space, the living room doubled for us as a 6th bedroom with 1 queen size air mattress.

Cons: Can't think of any.

This location exceeded our expectations and is great for families, bachelor/bachelorettes (up to 10), generic vacation. Thanks again Zoe.

Great spot for a large group

We had 10 people (5 couples) and the house was more than big enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. Zoe was very attentive and helpful throughout the stay. The location is a wonderful if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of downtown with several restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance.

Location, Location, Location! Great location and very quiet street!

Zoe is an amazing hostess and ensures everything you could possibly want or need is at your disposal. She is so kind; on our last day there she even drove us to St. Joseph's Oratory! The house is exactly as shown and the beds are very comfortable. It is close to the bus route and within walking distance to the metro. If in good shape it's even a pleasant walk to downtown! Enjoy the vibrant neighborhood with many restaurants and pubs. The people in Montreal are so very friendly! For her kindness I wish Zoe the best life has to offer!

-bus #105 that takes you to Vendome metro/train station in 3 stops or a 10 minute walk. There is also a BIXI bike location on corner Marcil/Sherbrooke just around the corner from here. where you can rent public bicycles for very cheap. Excellent way to explore the city

-beautiful Girouard Park features 3 newly upgraded children's playgrounds including a fantastic sprinkler park opened from 8am-8pm in the summer. Great for picnics or summer birthday parties :)

-grocery stores, banks, pharmacy, used book stores, specialty stores (Italian, Greek, Russian, Polish Asian to name a few, health food stores, coffee shops, liquor store (SAQ), convenient stores and a huge selection of great eateries. Montreal is indeed a FOOD city!

-trendy Monkland Village which boasts trendy little shops, amazing bakeries, restaurants, bars and much more!

-Stunning Westmount the city's richest neighborhood filled with spectacular homes. A must see! Also in Westmount 2 great parks. Westmount Park on Sherbrooke/Lansdowne next to beautiful Westmount Library and as well lovely King George Park/Murray Hill Park located on Cote St Antoine and Roselyn. Both parks are a 15 minute walk.
