The view was beautiful, the condo was clean, but, the hot water was limited due to the "size of the hot water heater" per the maint. Man! We called day of CI about hot water and were told no one could come until the next morning. The next morning they called asking about the AC. I told them no we called about hot water. Apparently the manager on site had called about the AC because he had "heard the AC continually recirculating while I (the manager) was outside, I know you will not need it today or tomorrow (it was 58 outside) but wanted to go ahead and have them look at it" On Tuesday evening the kitchen sinks were stopping up and I did not notify because honestly I forgot and we left Wednesday morning early. I was able to use the plunger and unstop them each time!

Overall the stay was fine. That walk to the beach is BRUTAL and definitely not what we expected! The master bathtub drains exceptionally slow but the bathtub itself is huge! The on site pool was great!

Very nice, well decorated condo with a great view of the ocean. The A/C works great and the beds were comfy. It's a bit of a long walk down the boardwalk and then across the sand to the ocean, but it's so pretty that it's worth it! We didn't try the pools but they had two nice pools right by the entrance and the gated parking lot makes you feel very safe. There are 3 carts that were great to help you bring your luggage to and from your room. I highly recommend this condo!

Highly recommend!

We would absolutely stay here again! DI is our beach of choice and we typically rent a house. This time we went for the convenience of a condo and I’m so glad we did. The easy beach access and pool with our two small kids was SO nice compared to how we typically access the beach via a golf cart or vehicle, no convenient bathrooms, going back and forth all day, etc. The Inn is smaller in size so it was quiet on the beach and at the pool. Our unit was clean and exactly as described. Overall we were so happy with our stay and we’ll be back!

Fantastic location for a week at the beach

Overall this was a very enjoyable stay, and great location. There were some minor hiccups getting into the room with are probably related to digital keypads in a high humidity and salty air environment. overall cleanliness was good there were a couple of minor maintenance situations that we made the management company aware of and they work to resolve. Beautiful views, have some access to the beach. The two salt water pools were a wonderful addition and option for the kids. We would definitely come back.

Wonderful family vacation!

We enjoyed our family vacation so much! We traveled with our children and had the most relaxing time! We saw so much wildlife on the beach right in front of our house! Most mornings we had the beach to ourselves. We loved the property and cannot wait to come back next summer! Thanks for the memories!

Check-in was very easy. Unit was very nice. Kitchen was well-equipped. Desk staff were friendly. Beach is just great, and multiple shops are walkable if it's not too hot. Pools are great. Walls are well insulated and we had no issue with noise from other units. My only suggestion of items to bring are a pop-up laundry hamper (there is no hamper or basket in the unit) and a portable laundry drying rack for towels and suits. We had a lot and they're not supposed to be hung on the balcony railing.

All of our rooms were very clean, comfortable and furnished with all the necessary things for the stay. We have vacationed on Dauphin Island on multiple occasions, twice at the Inn. We always feel welcome no matter where we go in town. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. I know we will be planning on spending many more future vacations there as well.

Quiet location close to the beach

We stayed for 5 days/4 nights. It was a quiet location and access to the beach/two pools was great. We love Dauphin Island, its been a favorite of mine since I was a kid and I was able to share that with my kids this year. Plan a grocery pick up on your way to the island, stop at Skinners for steamed seafood. We found that the gulf side had quite a bit of seaweed this year on the bay side though it was clear.

It was okay

The unit was clean which was great, the beach was perfect although the walk to get there with smallChildren was a challenge. There were a few things that were bothersome. The pocket door between the second bedroom and bathroom wouldn’t stay on its track so it wouldn’t close. The second bedroom didn’t stay cool as the rest of the unit, making for long nights and the dining room table didn’t have all its chairs which is needed if you have a large group like we did.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay and loved seeing the beach from our room. We would definitely come back and stay if we decide to visit Dauphin again. We just didn’t realize there was smoking allowed so each time at the pool we left due to smokers on their balcony’s. Rooms could also have used a good dusting as we could see a lot of dust on the fans when we accidentally had a kid turn them off. Other than those two things we really did enjoy our time and wish we would have stayed longer

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall had a good experience. I’m not a big fan of paying a cleaning fee and then having to strip beds, start laundry, and wash dishes. Completely understand taking trash out. Other than that, condo was cute, clean and in a great location. Would recommend replacing the king mattress with a memory foam or hybrid mattress. They aren’t expensive anymore and would make a huge difference. Can’t move around on that mattress without waking the other person up.
