Newly remodeled and very clean 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage style house in Sherman Oaks. Featuring brand new Venetian tile floors in a 950 sq foot space. The cottage includes a large living room, two bedrooms with brand new furniture and high quality thread count linens, dining room, flat screen tv, office work area, plenty of storage closets and a full bathroom. The cottage also boasts a full kitchen including stove top, oven, large refrigerator, granite countertops, toaster oven, dishes, pots, utensils, plenty of counter space and storage. The cottage also offers a full laundry room with large side by side washer & dryer. The house has central heat & air.

Conveniently located with easy access to all the attractions Los Angeles has to offer. Lots of great restaurants and a shopping mall just minutes away. Easy access to the 101, (Ventura) and 405 (San Diego) freeways. Located near major attractions like Universal Studios, Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood Bowl, Griffith Park, Burbank Studios, Studio City and beyond. Beautiful beaches are 20 min away. Close to many bus and metro connections.

Please inquire about pool usage and pool temp heating. The pool is unheated but can heated for an additional cost.

Sherman Oaks Cottage

I stayed in this cottage with my 17 year old son and my 81 year old mother-in- law for 4 days. The two bedrooms were a fine fit and we had everything we needed to make meals, do laundry, and just hang out and relax between family visits and outings. Very convenient to Hollywood and a very accommodating host. I would stay here again.

Wonderful stay in LA area

We had a wonderful experience staying at this property. Everything is exactly as described and shown in the listing. Ofir was a gracious and helpful host! The location is quiet and central to all that LA has to offer. The beds are comfortable, amenities plentiful, and the outdoor pool area is a wonderful bonus!

Sherman Oaks

My son and I stayed at Ofir's apartment. It is in a good location with easy access to many areas. The place was clean and as shown on the website. Ofir is very good to deal with. There is a very nice courtyard which we used in the evenings to relax. The kitchen is very well equipped and the laundry room has a large washer and dryer. We would happily stay with Ofir again.

Perfect perfect perfect!

If I could rate this home just on cleanliness it would break the scale! Seriously I felt bad dropping even a crumb. All parts of this trip to California with my fiancé were so last minute and we ran into so many complications on the way but this house was not one! The hosts made sure we were always happy and comfortable. They are such a delight to be around yet give you privacy. I would stay here every single time no doubt about it!

Adorable cottage !

Cottage très confortable et très bien équipé pour recevoir une famille. Idéalement situé , nous avons pu faire de nombreuses excursions au départ de la location avec notre voiture ( 25 mn de Santa Monica et 20mn des studios Universal par exemple). La piscine commune est en libre accès et les propriétaires sont très discrets. MERCI pour les petites attentions à notre arrivée qui font toujours plaisir et sont très appréciées lors d'une arrivée tardive comme la notre ( fruits, cookies, eau fraîche , café ,beurre....) Nous recommandons vivement !

Great place to stay, close to everything North LA

My teen kids and I had a great trip in LA, visiting my BFF and checking out local colleges for my daughter. We were 30 minutes from Venice Beach, 30 minutes from Downtown and 20 minutes from Hollywood area for thrift shopping in Melrose. It was nice to have a place with a pool to unwind. The family that lives in the main house are very friendly and make you feel at home. The only reason why I give four stars is because the little chihuahua who would bark at us anytime we came in the entrance, and my kids not being able to use the pool very late, as sometimes we’d get back after 10pm and they’d want to swim but couldn’t disturb the neighbors. I guess I expected it to be a little more private, I didn’t realize it was a guest house at booking. My bad. But the people here are very welcoming and accommodating.

Perfect home away from home!

The cottage was perfect for our vacation. We were easily able to get to various attractions during the day and return "home" to swim and relax in the evening. It was nice to have the larger space, the full kitchen and washer and dryer as opposed to being in a hotel for a week. We will definitely visit again.

Close to everything - Amenities Are Awesome

This place was everything you could hope for in a vacation stay. We were close to all of the attractions we wanted to see. But more imortantly we were made to feel so welcome. Ofir answered all of our questions immediately. There is a separate entrance to the unit with a private sitting area. The unit itself lacks for no amenity. We would definitely stay here again!

A Sherman Oaks oasis

Ofir was very accessible and ready to answer our questions and help in any way. The Guest Cottage was clean and the floor plan was perfect for our needs. We loved the location; we walked to Marmalade Cafe on Ventura Blvd. (a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner) and caught our LYFT rides right outside the front gate. A LYFT ride to the Metro Station was only $5.60 and the subway was easy to navigate and took us everywhere we needed to go. We would definitely stay here again and enjoy Ofir's hospitality.

Comfortable, clean, great location

We enjoyed our stay. The rental is clean , with all amenities, close to major attractions. Ofir / family were very responsive . Can’t think of any improvements except maybe to provide a couple of extra warm blankets(they had only one extra) and I am only nitpicking here. They provided plenty of extra towels. Also great with providing info on closeby restaurants, stores etc- nice to have even though we have electronics at disposal. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

California Cottage

Great accommodations for our first family trip to California. Good location. Owner was very responsive. Cottage was equipped with washer and dryer which was convenient. Fully stocked kitchen. Was fun for the kids to use the pool and the available toys. Owners provided a surprise fruit and cookie treat. Pool is in the owner's backyard but was still very private and is surrounded by high privacy fence. We would stay again.

Great spot in the big city

Ofir was a very nice host. His property is ideal for a visit to the big city. It was convenient to navigate around a crazy driving city. The house is very nicely presented with a lovely backyard with a great pool/jacuzzi for your personal enjoyment. We were lucky to use all that the house had to offer,. We would like to thank Ofir for his hospitality. Nice person.

Beautiful pool area and great for a family of 4!

Ofir and his entire family went out of their way to make us feel at home. From the fresh fruit while we were swimming at the pool, to clean beach towels when we were heading out, they were great hosts. The guest house has its own washer and dryer as well as a full kitchen with all the essentials. My wife is already trying to figure out when we can come back!

Perfect location and great accommodations for our stay!

This was our first stay at this Sherman Oaks guest cottage, and we could not be more pleased! Our son and his wife live in Sherman Oaks, and we were delighted upon arrival to discover the residences were within walking distance from each other. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The pool and hot tub area is fabulous and we enjoyed it immensely. We appreciated Ofir and his family's hospitality and hope to stay here again when we return for future visits!

The property was very clean and well maintained. It was in a quiet neighborhood.

The house was very charming. It was located behind the main house. The owner kindly provided access to the swimming pool and respected our privacy, but was available to answer questions. We would stay there again.

Best vacation ever!

We had the perfect stay in California! This home was beautiful and clean and so close to everywhere you need to go. Ofir and his family were amazing as well! They showed so much hospitality and were so inviting. It really was perfect for our getaway and we will definitely be giving them a call for our next trip!

You will want to return !

My wife and I read the reviews of this place and didn't hesitate to book it. Now that we've stayed here, we absolutely agree with everything already written by other guests. It was perfect for the two of us and our small dog. Great place, great hosts, 5 Stars! This delightful 2 bedroom cottage is nestled in complete privacy on a quiet tree-lined street. Entirely shielded from public view, you have your own little fenced-in front yard and patio. And there's a swimming pool with jacuzzi only steps away. It is a cottage, but the living/dining area is surprisingly roomy. Best of all, the on-site hosts are gracious and helpful, while totally respectful of your privacy. Ofir and Mali manage to combine a quiet professionalism with old-world hospitality. That's rare -- and wonderful. We highly recommend this rental. And we plan to return. .
