This cabin was the perfect place for our girls trip! The stunning views of the mountains did not disappoint and the cabin’s cleanliness, size and location was also great! Our host, Iris, was very friendly, helpful and quick to respond. We loved this cabin and already want to plan a visit back when the leaves start to change color this fall.

We spent three wonderful days in this beautiful mountain home celebrating our mom’s 86th birthday with my 90-year-old aunt, sister, and cousin. The house was absolutely spotless, beautifully maintained, and had the most gorgeous mountain views! What truly made our stay special was the thoughtfulness of our wonderful host, Iris. She surprised us with champagne and a birthday cake for our mom—a completely unexpected and incredibly kind gesture that meant so much to our family! Iris also provided a detailed guide to the surrounding area, along with clear and helpful instructions for the house.Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and Iris went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Thank you, Iris, for making our family getaway so special! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this beautiful home!

We very rarely leave a property and say that we are definitely going to book it again, but as soon as we left Sunset View Lodge, we all agreed that we would definitely be back! The view was absolutely incredible, the house was spotless, and there were plenty of games and activities for us to stay busy during a cozy rainy weekend. They have ping-pong, a pool table, and a very clean hot tub. Everything was so clean and comfortable. The host Iris was extremely responsive and easy to get in touch with. The drive from Atlanta was so easy, and most importantly, the drive to the house was amazing without any winding or twisting roads that I usually dread when it comes to booking properties in North Georgia. Highly recommend staying here!

Nine of us enjoyed a fun, relaxing weekend in Dahlonega and this place was perfect for us. So much space inside and out to gather and take in the beautiful views. All furnishings, beds and linens were nice and comfortable. Basics in kitchen and baths were all provided. Multiple decks and awesome hot tub. Great place!

If you are thinking of booking this house- do it! The house and views are absolutely stunning! Iris pays such close attention to each detail of the house and what may be needed in each area. Everything was spotless, set up, and ready for us to have a good time from the blankets on the covered porch to the coffee bar downstairs to the easy to read instructions in the binder. This isn't one of those places with a mile long cleaning list before you leave or a nonresponsive host! Iris checked in with us throughout the trip and answered any questions we had. We will definitely be back next year!!

Such a beautiful home with outstanding views! Every room was gorgeous and stunning comfortable with more than enough space for our party. The host was exceptionally kind, generous and attentive to detail. Our family had a wonderful time eating meals around table, playing pool, soaking in the hot tub, relaxing with a book or doing star watching from the deck with plenty of space to both spend time together or spread out. An absolutely terrific stay!
