Great spot convenient to Cripple Creek attractions!
We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was a great home base for visiting the restaurants, casinos, museums, and other attractions of cripple creek. All of this was within a short walk for anyone able to walk up a fairly steep hill. (And for those who are not, free parking was ample everywhere we visited). I would recommend this house, and Cripple Creek in general, for anyone looking for a fun, easy, and affordable get-away. We were a group of adults, but this house seems like it would work well for families too.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Good location and easy check-in process. The house is rustic and cute. Unfortunately, the house wasn't thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. There was notable dust on the furniture/floors, and the stove/dishes/drawers needed a deep clean. A bit more attention to housekeeping would make the house a better place to stay. The layout made it difficult for our group as well. It isn't made clear in the listing that the main level bathroom is actually inside the bedroom. So, anybody staying in the upstairs bedroom must either enter someone else's bedroom to use the bathroom or go down very steep/small/slippery stairs to use the downstairs bathroom. This was very inconvenient for us especially since someone got a flu bug during the stay. The location is walkable to the Golden Nugget with only a small hill. It could be walkable to the main st casinos if the people in your party are in good physical condition to manage a VERY steep hill on the way back. Finding parking at the casino's is usually not an issue. Adorable outside sitting area with a firepit which is very private. Enough parking for 2-3 cars out front.
